That's something incredible. City probably already saw themselves in final, but then Real makes comeback in few final minutes of game. Just classic Real, how many times in last decade we saw them doing such things. And these goals from Real was big shock for City, they failed to make something really dangerous doing whole extra time.

It was quite an uneventful match until injury time. Couldn't believe they got two goals in the +90 minutes. Fair play to Real as they deserved it. I'm also glad it's not an all English final as I find them boring. The CL final could also be the decider in who gets the ballon dor. If Benzema has a blinder of a game then I'm sure he will win it as they've already won their domestic league and it could come down to the last day for the Premier League title. Either way I'd just like to see a great match. Couldn't pick a winner to be fair but I hope there's lots of goals and drama.

I had City win on my main multi, and got rektd of course. At least I learn on my mistakes so I immediately placed bet for Real to win in extra time. Odds were around 5 which looked almost too good to be true.

Still can't belive what we are witnessing from Real this season.

Shit, seriously? I really need to start paying attention to that.
City dropped by a lot after conceding and Real were favorites in the ET in my opinion - both Foden and Bernardo were really tired and Real took full control of the game. I would have bet on that for sure, wasn't expecting anything near that.

Still, I had bets on Real to progress to the final and on their win in regular time placed before the match so it was a good day overall.
It was at 5.05 and obviously I was not the only one with the idea to place that bet so it fell off a bit and I managed to place the bet @4.8. Still incredible odds and I am mad at myself for not taking it for bigger stake. But then it would not pass and Real would win on penalties just to screw me over.

not sure what I would like, Liverpool against City (not again), or against Real (this one is better, obviously)
It is always better to have clubs from different countries playing in the final. For instance City and Liverpool already played 2 times in the league and at least one more time in the cup. That is just on top of my head so maybe even more. No matter how good they are I would rather watch Real vs. LFC for first time this season than another English derby.

Still can't believe how Real manages to win these games with just 10 minutes of brilliant play and 80 minutes of hanging for dear life Smiley

As a neutral I cannot agree more than this. When you get teams from the same league in a final, you have teams who know each other so well they both tend to just take the low risk approach and wait for each other to make mistakes.

Just look at city and liverpool meeting spanish clubs who on paper are not as good as them (everyone seems to say City and Liverpool are the best teams in the world) but because you don't play them every year, you can't prepare so well.

Brilliant final!

Most times team get collapsed when they concede those types of goals, and especially at those dying minutes. I really wasn't expecting Man City to go through anymore after the game headed for extra time. It's a devasting blow for City, and it's gets worse every time they choke on such a big advantage.

@Halab got the exact score, and it's probably game over already, Congratulations!

I guess this might be the defining moment of how the pool would shape out, I think I've got a guaranteed 1st or 2nd place if I'm not mistaken, but it's so hard picking a side tonight between Real Madrid and Man City, I'd have love to go with Real Madrid, but Man City lineup looks like the better team imo.

So, we will have another English final or replay of 2018 final...

basically it is that
there were some times when several teams could reach CL final, and it was not that same clubs playing finals all over again
but now, there is just a few that could see finals, and decide crown takers between them

not sure what I would like, Liverpool against City (not again), or against Real (this one is better, obviously)

Who among you watched the game and felt like a nightmare was about to unfold at half time? Smiley

Saw all the memes online after the game, you have to really feel for Villarreal here. Losing is bad enough, but it's always worse when you actually get your hopes up and believe you have a chance. 7th place in La Liga and they almost took Liverpool to the same backroom where they tied up Bayern and Juve!

Anyway, it was really watchable game, not like 1st leg. Liverpool played such poor 1st half, they barely went out of defense. When Villarreal were close to make comeback, Liverpool finally wake up. Solid performance in 2nd half.

It was quite some game to watch, I hope this doesn't take away the excitement were are to expect from Man City vs Real Madrid tomorrow, because the game did feel like watching the 2nd leg of the game between Real and City..

I think going into the half time with the deficit was the wake up call for Liverpool, It would have been mentally worse for them if they had conceded both goals after the break. Regardless of who makes it to the final as their opponent, I'm sure it will be a worthy match up, and Villarreal can also be very proud of their self as well, they had quite an impressive campaign.

Not sure it was Loris Karius or Geronimo Rulli... First goal that he conceded was so cheap - between legs. Third goal, I'm not sure what he was doing when one defender was still remaining.

It should be pity for Villarreal to get eliminated after all they did, but after all, Liverpool were better and deserved to reach final.

Yeah, with a boost I have it at 1.80. Looks really high considering the difference in quality and the fact that Villarreal will have to attack at some point in the game, I feel fairly confident to take this bet as well.

The one that looks best for me is the 'shots on target' over/under bet. Under is at 1.78/1.83 if you use the boost. I expect a fully closed game in the first 45 minutes and Villarreal to open up at around 60th minute.

^ Didn't really notice odds rightaway but it's always been about 17/10 for me though you're right, with a boost on Sportsbet now you can catch it at 1.85 even, not bad huh?

I'm probably being a bit dumb to pick 0-3 for this but you know, it's too late to get 1st spot. Locked to see as am curious and hahay's got a Villareal win Wink

Anyway, after this week, should be able to see who to pay prizes out, though can't see anyone other than Harko/Halab taking 1st place. I'll probably even be able to pay out already before the final, just to clear responsibilities before I get naughty heh.

Something seems weird with Liverpool-Villareal game as when I looked on my phone it was 1.91 for Liverpool ML on a fiat bookie ad and I was 100% sure it was below 1.5 when I put them on my ticket a while back.

Of course now it is back to "normal" which is about 1.71 on Sportsbet but it does seem like abnormality for odds to go from hard favorite (below 1.5) to less certain.

Yeah, comparing yesterday's game with this pne - it looked like Europa league game. Though, probably it was worthto expect something similar.
For Villarreal it was difficult to achieve positive result with parked bus. After all, they're not Atletico to defend that well. Even against Bayern they weren't so defensive. Things isn't over yet, but Liverpool is one feet in the final now.
This was a "normal" high stake game between two sides who are not of same quality. Liverpool had absolute control but still they needed a bit of luck to score. First goal with lucky deflection and second would have been offside on another day. Anyway, deserved win and both managers can be happy with what their teams showed.

I am sure neither manager is happy with their defense in City-Real encounter Smiley

This is the problem when you get such a treat of 7 goals, that even if this game was 5-0, you would never feel it was half as exciting as the first.

But we all knew Villareal were not going to light up the festival of UCL, what I didn't expect was they would not be able to find a single shot on goal. Stats say just 1 attempt that was off target. How is that even possible unless they really were just going for a draw? but 2 goals down and not to try, seems like a losing recipe.

looking at match yesterday, this one seems to be from another competition
Villareal is playing their game, and it will be difficult to overcome their defense

regarding Real, as expected they scored after 75' minutes, and it was Benzema, seems as pretty usual statistics for him, if they pass-through, he will secure his golden boot
