@darxiaomi is an unstoppable force, everywhere I go I can't escape seeing your name but well done buddy, all deserved Smiley Just killing it even in Italian league, forza Argentina!

Me I got stuck in 10th place with KTChampions, so I need a strong week, staring tonight with Torino. Both teams doing terrible in past 8 games but I guess it should be a favorite on the home team.

GL all.

FPL I never joined, I don't know English players at all, but even if La Liga had Fantasy I doubt I know how to play it well. Fantasy really needs you to know players, injuries, suspensions, etc I hardly can keep track. Are FPL players mainly same as BSFL/Superbru?
Mainly yes, but not exclusively. It is much more time consuming and requires you to think about it and plan about future a lot. To cover it properly it probably takes you much more time than even BSFL but on the other hand you have a lot of people specializing in giving info about it. For instance I listen to couple of youtubers while driving to work and get my info and stats about it that way.

On the other hand once you get hooked to Fantasy football, you are hooked for life and if I had to bet which pool has the most potential for growths I would pick fantasy one. It is much more knowledge based than Superbru pools for sure.

I have considered joining but this time thing is the biggest problem. I can actually come on this forum and even leave it open but it's something my office connection allows (all forums are allowed actually) and I even can get permission to access gambling which counts as games as long as it's not MMORPG which is banned but I'm not sure IT will be too happy if I keep adding more stuff. So that's not a problem but the time for sure is.

I follow La Liga a lot, but usually just focused on my team so even then I don't really follow individuals which I know is important for FPL + the entire league. Doing this for EPL is an even bigger challenge for me (less interest).

Superbru pools is the least knowledge based for sure. BSFL I would argue is even more than FPL because there are no influencers or FPL sites to just follow Smiley

trying to stay in top5, but it is getting harder by each week, not sure how, but I usually have a good start in Calcio and dropping position with season going
in all other pools, I usually have contrary situation, starting lousy and improving as season is opening and teams showing their real strength

I am 14, 12, 15, 14 in La Liga, EPL, Serie A and AFCON.

So I am consistently below the top 10 in everything. It suggests I can have a prize in all of them by the end of the season, or none of them, but being bottom of BSFL I guess I'm like the Almeria of this forum. Put up fights, do nothing to win anything Tongue

I only won something in F1 pool, my first time playing, and sure enough it was something I knew ZERO about. Life is funny in that way hehe

I wish you good luck here, but I must need some of you guys to drop from 5th onwards lol

Nothing better than to beat people you know in competitions like this. Granted it takes a way bit of charm if we are fighting to enter top 20 instead of fighting dor top positions.

I wrote off La liga and Serie A pools long time ago. FPL is the one that needs to cover all costs and get me in the profit this season.

I won't lie, BSFL's attraction for me isn't so much the answering questions every week, it's actually way way way more pressure and time requirement than Superbru, and in the end of the season potentially you don't win much, even if you're unlucky like I will most probably be, you win freebet which you'll lose lol

It's the chance to face all the legendary members like you who I probably also never get the real chance to bet against because you guys are whales and I only bet few dollars Tongue

Yeah, I'm doing ok in most, La Liga and Serie A have been humiliating though.
Lowest prize pools anyway, so I won't be complaining.

Nice to get the yellow cap, a few of these pay the entry price anyway. Shame I usually go for 50x odds on these and never win anything Grin

^ My fault too, I do try and follow all the games and keep track but inevitably, I'm missing out on the ones that need my attention the most -- Premier League and La Liga still within reach, but I'm already in decent positions in Serie A. You'd think I should pay more attention here.

So I'll do that yes. Maybe even watch the games a bit more?

cryptofrka quietly springs up in Serie A to win yellow cap. I saw though that he only climbed up 1 spot, taking his beloved Trofo down below him. Cro2 is not a lover of Italian football I can understand Wink

I went down back out of Top 10, need to improve man.

Just in case, not good this place was ignored a little while we need to remember to give this discussion thread a little sniffing now and then lol

Roma won without Mourinho
it was not easy against Salernitana, but managed to win 1:2 (had 0:1 in the pool, so not quite happy about it)

he brought back fun into Roma team, and filled stadium that was half empty before his era
also got Euro title

Nobody remembers these kinds of things. Roma was on the down and he helped make them relevant, the whole city was with him and loved him so much, why did they not at least give him time for one season? New guy is not bad but he's not Mourinho, they will regret what they did.

I hope he comes back to Europe, he's too precious to be going to Saudi man. And yes I hate his style but he has changed a lot over the years Smiley

Hurricane Mou has now ended. Always thought Mou was entertaining, then as he mellowed even somewhat likeable, but mostly, always misunderstood (mostly his own fault I would have to say).

Forwards forgetting how to score, they're to blame, really. Anyway, De Rossi at Roma now, time to get back all those lost points on picking Roma wins. It won't be so much down to him but the new manager bounce.
Will miss him. Mourinho has done a lot for Roma. From team that don't fight for anything serious into team that won international trophy. And as casperBGD said, he returned fans to the stadium.
This season wasn't up to their expectations, but Mou isn't magician and can't turn very average team into Scudetto contenders.
I hope to see Mourinho continue working in Top 5 league, team playing in UEFA cups, not somewhere in Saudi Arabia. While it will be interesting to follow club legen De Rossi working as Roma manager, it's risky move.

Damn, casperBGD! Smart start with the nil-nil, and almost perfect score so far. Early games and I'm down 2 positions, can't seem to get a hold of Top 5, but I would never have gone 0-0 on Torino in any case.

it was a good round for me, took yellow cap
or I could say this weekend was great, had good round in Bundesliga as well, solid in Premier league, and Valencia won away match Smiley, while Cagliari won home fixture and left relegation zone

nevertheless, EPL ruined it with another breach for Everton

Hurricane Mou has now ended.
