All free bets are paid on Monday this season, so if games finish on Sunday, winner gets it next day but if they finish on Monday like this week you have to wait almost a week for them.

By the way, I watched my first full serie A game on Monday, Lazio - Fiorentina. It was supposed to be a solid game but I was actually surprised how bad the game was. Nobody is running, they can't string a couple of good passes together. Just making mistakes and arguing with ref.

Serie A was getting better last few seasons but seems to me now they regressed back to their tried and tested let's just defend tactics. Quite probably last game I tried to watch this season. Bournemouth - Burnley game was three times better than this poor excuse was football.

Even though we have left 10 weeks behind in the Premier League there is only a difference of 4 points between us. The predictions we have made are very similar to each other. I hope that I don't lose the side bet against you. Tongue

l'm horrible in the Serie A pool. I finished last in the previous round and I'm very bad in this round as well.

I was good in the previous rounds in the La Liga. However I dropped from my place in the standings as I was able to collect only 5.5 points in Round 11.

^ No, no, it's on all of us. I think yes, a tad bit of fatigue in terms of pools and predictions but I've also been really under the weather lately and for whatever reason, Serie A is the one generating the least excitement for me. I have to say it's probably because I don't see as many big odds here lately than in other leagues -- so same excuse as Trofo that where I don't bet, I don't pay attention.

Definitely need to catch up on watching games, Scamacca's on a hattrick right now and if things keep like this, I have a close score (silly me for only going 0-2).

Not really a good state of mind from the pool captain but since I am doing terrible, I don't really have the will to come and write here. On the other hand, what to write about? I can't give the advice since I am last so that means you are all better then me in Serie A Grin

Then, I stopped even betting on Serie A since goals have dried up a bit this season. That being said I still caught both to score on Napoli yesterday and will try again today with Lazio.

Doing my duty here as I just did on La Liga to get things kicked off on Friday. Am actually sick as a dog right now so just sprayed my predictions mainly with familiar attackers or home teams but there is one unmissable game in El Clasico. Man, I miss Barca having 4/1 odds against Real but I think this is going to be the kids' battleground =) GL all!

Happened with Champions League pool as well -- right at the start actually but not since. It's not a public pool either so I thought it must have been leaked somewhere. All those outsider signups also came just in a few hours on the same day so I thought maybe someone shared inadvertently on TG or somewhere. No other explanation.

Give it a try some time! You might be really surprised.

I also didn't rate Serie A for the longest time (after Milan-Liverpool rivalry died down) but started following Lazio again around the time the pools started, which coincided with a mini revolution in Italian football, courtesy Roma, Lazio, Atalanta, Napoli -- who really play daring attacking football while Juventus stifled with Ronaldo, and the Milans were only just resuming their own renaissance.

They're compatible attack-wise to EPL, and if not for surprise package Girona, would trounce Spain in the league by sheer goal-scoring.

I wasn't able to watch Milan - Juventus as Barcelona - Athletic is on one screen and F1 is on another. Seems that nobody didn't backed Juventus. I guess that Thiaw red card was quite big factor in this game which helped Juve to win.
Things couldn't go worse in this pool for me than I have now. Just 6 points so far, another Wooden Spoon incoming and it's only matter of time when I will take glorious last place from Trofo. At least we don't have relegation there Cheesy

I had a good start yesterday with Verona vs Napoli. 3 points and then Inter's last goal missed me 1.5 points or I would have another 3 points. But in the last match between Sassuolo vs Lazio I think I was lucky that things could go worse for me.

Somehow I was very confident that the match will end with a draw. But after Lazio scored two goals, I was thinking why not go for a both team to score because it seemed like a goal from Sassuolo was going to happen anyway, even they could come back and draw the match [I had a 2 - 2 draw LOL]. Then I became busy with some other things and forgot about it. Later when checked the result, I saw nothing happened. If I was logged in with my gambling account I would lose a good amount, I was almost determined to place a big amount so that I could recover my lose of the last two weeks.

These guys were definitely addicted gamblers and were doing nonsense. If their approach was serious, then they just needed to find a responsible person who, slowly moving around the cities, made offline bets with bookmakers for not very large amounts. Of course, all this news is discouraging, but in fact they caught a bunch of foolish gamblers (some of them have a debt of a million lol), and the real criminals in the person of FIFA and UEFA officials continue their business.

if that is similar in Italy, it is really hard to understand his plans with this bet

but, on the other side, why did they let him bet on him picking a yellow card in the first place, it was an obvious fail, because that depends only on him (ok, Salernitana player could run from him, but that was hardly an option to consider)
although, they don't have sufficient proofs, and there will be no investigation, as of now, so maybe it is different in Italy
