A full round is almost completed, only one match left and no one even bother about to make a single post! How sad?

Meanwhile, as I posted on EPL thread [EPL performance for the week obviously], my luck for the entire round in any league sucks!

I was fifth, I had some hope that I will do better day by day. But it seems the round ruined my hope.

Old comment from last week I know but I think I mentioned this a few months ago, Serie A stopped becoming BTTS nest, so I only put about 30% of my picks as BTTS, everything else goes for zero score on the losing side.

But no, it's definitely luck. I'm probably like you more or less, logical with picks but in Serie A I'm less aware of team abilities than Prem League and doing better -- I did look back at some previous scores and apparently, bookies didn't favour the likes of Roma, Fiorentina, Lazio, many times, but they came out with wins or draws. So in my lagging understanding I still picked them to win, and got the "upset".

So, revisiting this theme, Juve-Lazio sees the books go for Juve. In our old understanding, 2-1 Juventus is good, but I think we need to consider 1-0 or 0-1 and Lazio to not be as shit as the odds suggest.

P.S. This is how I mess with minds. It usually backfires Wink

Not looking good for me as the defending champion of the league in the leaderboard rn though, but maybe 10 weeks is still a long ride to grab a spot on the podium, but not with the level of consistency of the competition here would I be able to without some premium level of consistency myself either.

NB; is it my eyes playing tricks or Saint-loup is actually a force to reckon with across almost all pool this season, the name seem to be really sticking out commonly across every top places in almost all leagues, or have I just seen him get mentioned one too many in them threads ?

I'm actually continually surprised to be in a good position for this pool, despite results not going my way all the time, it seems here in this pool almost everyone has the same idea, not like Spanish and English pools.

Maybe this lack of different opinions is what makes the page buried sometimes Tongue

Spain is the enigma, but Italy is the most balanced. Just looking at the last few seasons, Juventus is not longer the favorite while title changed hands with so many teams, Inter resurgence. Did any of us imagine this? For sure not me.

Sorry state of affairs for Atalanta? Nah, just a blip. Lookman still has it, and I'm still putting in 2-3 goals for them almost every selection week, such was the effectiveness of offence I've been used to over the past few seasons. Bologna's win does take away the sheen from previous victory of Inter, but we shouldn't forget they've been posting impressive stats in the new year. Perhaps Sporting is distracting them?

Still slightly annoyed Osimhen missed the penalty...
