Udinese is postponed tonight

I don't think it's been postponed, Udine is likely to be given a 3-0 win. We can actually see their starting 11 on Twitter even though there won't be a match. I mean, it's been about a year after the Juve-Napoli controversy, and i just don't understand why is it so hard for Serie A to simply postpone the match like they would do almost everywhere else...mind boggling!

source: google-translated from: https://www.tuttonapoli.net/le-altre-di-a/udinese-salernitana-la-lega-serie-a-non-rinvia-friulani-e-arbitri-dovranno-presentarsi-490475
Quote
Lega Serie A will not postpone  Udinese-Salernitana : the match, scheduled at 18.30, will not be played anyway since the Campania region has been banned by the ASL, but the decision taken from via Rossellini - for what we learn in this moment - is not to proceed with the postponement of the match. At this point, Udinese will have to appear on the pitch, as well as the referee team, to wait for the canonical 45 minutes before ascertaining that the match has not been played. At that point, the ball will pass to the Sports Judge: in the strict term of regulation, the grenade should be awarded 3-0 at the table but, considering the precedents, it is very likely that in the first instance he will leave the verdict at least sub judice for further investigations.

Udinese is postponed tonight

should be an easy round, there is no derby, even the pool match is between Roma and Sampdoria, which tells you everything
Napoli and Milan had a tough few matches, and from what seemed as their race, now Inter is on top with few wins in a row, looking forward to see Dzeko as title holder

Not such a great night for me but so who else didn't expect Roma to win and win big? Don't even mind losing my prediction on this, too bad I'd skipped a bet on Roma, I saw the goal Tammy Abraham scored and yeah, nothing special you can say but that's what Chelsea's missing out now (and they had one shot on goal the whole day at Molineux). And yes, they have a lot of missing players but when you still have Pulisic, Ziyech, Mount, and plenty of offensives on bench, you wonder where their killing touch is.

And as if to top it off, Fiorentina only escaped with a point, so Roma's situation doesn't look so bad right now.

Then we get tonight, some so-so results, and Napoli leading Milan... I'm turning in to sleep, hope to wake up with a surprise home win.

Man, this league is fun.

you are doing great if you are not familiar with the league
I was familiar with Serie A last decade, but since Juventus was in Serie B, I stopped following it and did not quite return and probably would not

my favorite team is close to be relegated, and that could be the end point, especially now when I tend to spend more time on Jupiler and Ere divisie, due to Sorare game, and Turkey is also in now, which makes it more complicated

Yeah, I'm trying not to get ahead of myself but with about 40% of the season gone, this "strategy" definitely seems to work not just in the league I'm familiar with but in all the leagues I'm participating in... Serie A, La Liga and EPL. Of course, one can only say with some certainty at the end of the season, but when I look back on past performance using my personal betting strategy, I've been far, far, far away from the pack at the top.

The Serie A I grew up with was knowing AC Milan, and that's thanks to their rivalry with Liverpool in the early 2000s. Both giants fell away in the decade after that. Funny about football cycles, huh.

I guess that makes more of us not familiar with the league,,, I only followed English as that was the only one I could understand,,, it is nice to watch international football but if the players even do not speak what you understand it can be difficult to follow.

I guess it is the same reason why La Liga football is followed in South America, but respect for Italian football who can still make it big everywhere in the wolrd.

Which one is your favorite team? Will you continue following if they get relegated?

I'm not super familiar with this league but yeah, I generally put my picks on form, and that's worked a total treat in Serie A so far (though of course for the draws like today's Venezia effort impossible to predict).

I'm finally in the prize spots range again, and it seems I'll end with the yellow cap for the round, a round which all my picks were made without any prior research I just went with my guts and followed the team recent form as being shown in the SuperBRU prediction page. I don't know how often that'd work, but It would be worth trying for me again 😊
Good work, keep to what is working for you. I change my strategies depending on the leagues and my knowledge about each of them. I pick all the games in Premier League and Champions League by gut, while I look for stats on clashes between bottom teams in La Liga and Serie A when I have time. Works ok for me in the long run, only problem I have is terrible luck with correct scores. Seems to me I usually get a more than average close scores but loose big on correct ones. Don't know how to correct that, telling myself it is just luck Smiley

Nice job man! Agree with Trofo, mix and stick with a strategy that works. Premier League I don't refer to much at all as I follow every match day, and am fairly confident of my picks (except when it's midtable or bottom of league clashes, then I do tend to stick with form).

Regards to scoring, that's also a form thing for me (although I have been wrong to keep predicting Chelsea running out of steam they just find ways to score so many each game) -- same goes for all top 4 teams in Serie A, knocking goals in for fun, so I don't like putting 1 or 2 on the heavy offence. That's total luck though I have to agree (who can say for example last week Venezia scores 3 when in 15 games before that only could score 12???).

@morvillz: Really, has it only been less than 10 years? I seem to remember in my mind goal-line tech was in place in English football several years after 2004 when Chelski's Mourinho wouldn't stop talking about Luis Garcia's supposed ghost goal. Oh those were the lovely days when we kept delaying Chelsea's march to UCL haha.
I think that goal line technology was introduced much later. Remember that famous disallowed Lampard goal against Germany in 2010 World Cup. In EURO 2012 there was similar disallowed goal in Ukraine - England game. So, in EPL they started to use this technology only after these scandals.
I have strange feeling watching these old videos. My first thought is why ref isn't going to watch VAR and only later I realize that we have VAR just for few years so far Cheesy.

You're right I just looked it up, Hawk-eye only introduced in 2013 in EPL. In my mind, for some reason, I thought it was soon after all those ghost goals of early 2010s but yeah now that you mention it, it took some big, big bad calls at international level for this tech to be implemented.

It's one of the few digital techs I've really had no issues with. Doesn't interfere with the game, actually helps resolves decisions faster and more accurately, and is totally in the spirit of the game.

Of course, tech is not perfect, remember last season Covid restart? Can't remember which game now but a goal so clearly crossed the line and hawkeye didn't see it when everybody and video did haha.

Seems like I missed quite a bit of drama in Serie A (not to mention commenting in the wrong thread about my mistaken prediction for Milan boo!).

Napoli - Atalanta was a great game but I again watched just first half since i had both to score and that passed quickly. Napoli was in solid form and I thought they will manage to get a draw tonight despite missing Insigne and Ruiz.

I have to admit i had the game as a draw initially, but the absence of Koulibaly in the defense, who has been incredibly solid for them all season and is out for at least a month, made me change my pick. Juan Jesus looked shaky at times, he has only made a few starts this season, and he was somewhat responsible for Atalanta's third goal, as he backed off Ilicic for too long. Nonetheless, a very good game as you said, Atalanta is picking up steam...

<....> It instantly remind me this ghost goal from Bundesliga:

Lol

Now that's a proper ghost goal haha, think i've seen that one before. Does anyone remember what year the Bundesliga started using/implemented the goal line technology? '13/'14?

The last two midweek fixtures turned into two yellow caps for me, need more of those... Grin

Surprised to see that Atalanta didn't have many backers in our pool, Napoli with their talisman Insigne out, one of their best midfielders and in-form guys Fabian Ruiz also out due to injury, and Spalletti serving a two-game suspension for his red card against Sassuolo. A lot of things were pointing towards a positive outcome for the visiting team, just saying...

Now, who watched Roma and Inter match?

Watching it live i thought it was a goal, Brozovic thought it was a goal, livescoring apps marked it a goal (temporarily)...hilarious moment nonetheless.  Grin
I was thinking between Napoli win and draw. I missed these news about Napoli, well, my fault for not making homework Cheesy. Seems that now Atalant got in very good rhytm.
And WTF was that? Epic moment Cheesy. Even commentators realised it was no goal just from 2nd replay. It instantly remind me this ghost goal from Bundesliga:

Watched both of those until my bets passed. I had Inter to win and they were destroying Roma, watched just first half since there was no chance Roma would get anything from that game unless Inter gets 3 red cards or something like that.

Yikes Trofo and LTU_btc... I actually saw the game for a while at 2-2 but only now checking back late I saw it went on to 4-4, with the equaliser scored at 90+9 minutes phew! hahay retook 1st spot, but anyone watching that game as a neutral would have enjoyed it all the way. United/Arsenal wasn't too bad too actually, except other than the goals, there wasn't really much else to cheer. Auba really looks like he's lost his touch though, seriously.

Two hugely entertaining games tomorrow, and if I'm lucky I find a good stream for the Napoli-Atalanta one. BTTS on all games tomorrow or Salernitana too poor? Milan looking their weakest ever...

Those past three games in this league was killer if you had the favorites on your parlays as Trofo had shown above in his.
2-2 and 4-4 draws in matches from yesterday into today.
I don't think anyone except one person got the 2-2 for one of those matches.
Usually so many goals cause excitement in these type of league plays but all these did were cause anger and frustration watching how it all unfolded.

And of course we get a game like that when I take Lazio ML instead of usual BTS.
At least I'm not alone, bro Wink.
I really hope you were not hit as bad as me. This was really a series of misfortune events for me. Lazio lost the lead in 99th minute and killed 3 otherwise winning tickets for me. About 0.08BTC in total. Rant on. That one other game that is not green is won but has not been graded yet.

First I wanted to use insurance and waited to play the ticket. First game was starting at 12:00 and I knew I am getting insurance at 11:58, of course I did not click on that square and I can't cash out since there is eSport on ticket. Later on Lazio leads 4:3 and I want to defend the tickets and can't since that is the precise moment when my otherwise very reliable mobile network provider decided to have problems. I did not have a single connection problem in last 10 years for reference. And of course the goal happens when it happened from very stupid foul.

So instead of winning nice amount of cash I am not even getting a 4 mBTC free bet, at least I have managed to reset the insurance and can start using it from early morning tomorrow  Undecided

Something is seriously wrong with Roma man, agh! I made a big multibet, and Roma was the SMALLEST odds but I thought come on for sure they can rack an easy win especially if the odds are so low away, then it means they are the huge favorites.

But guess what, they prove me wrong again. Goodbye to top 4 man.
Roma is one of teams that I avoid betting on this season. They didn't started bad, but now they're not consistent at all. When they lost 6:1 in Europe, I said to myself - that's enough for me.
I would say same thing about other team from Rome - Lazio. They don't look good this season. I made bet on them against Udinese and guess what, result is 3:3 with 20 minutes remaining and Lazio with 10 men on the pitch.
@casperBGD, wouldn't be surprised if he will be sacked during season. But probably as always happens with Mou, he would get a lot of money if such thing would happen.

And of course we get a game like that when I take Lazio ML instead of usual BTS.
