Ukyo was on IRC last night, and said this about the loan:
[12:34] due to the situation with weex, i stopped issueing dividends on the loan for now. I am setting up a seperate claim/management system where users will either a. begin to get daily divs again, or b. be able to get all missed divs with payoff

Without getting into an amount, (whether or not it's worth mentioning is rather subjective and I don't want to mention it anyhow) I can mention here that I submitted a redemption request on Oct' 8th.
Waiting to see what updates come from the guys in Cyprus.
I did submit on 14th Oct ,and I think it is impossible to get redeem if Ukyo can't get new WeEx into operations. Waiting to see what updates come from the guys in Cyprus.
And I am wonder that have been such a long time he hasn't pay out the interest of the loan and seems nobody care about it .

I pm'd him over a week ago - no response yet. He is active on IRC occasionally, but everyone is in the same boat, waiting for more news.
Ukyo is currently working with Neo and Bee to overcome issues with both weexchange withdrawals and redeeming Ukyo.Loan as far as I know. It may be a little while before he can redeem again.

It is funny that he hasnt really given one shred of information yet you are all brown nosing so badly in that IRC. I agree that it reads like a repeat of 'Sam'... we have seen behavior like this before and it is highly likely that no one gets a single mBTC back.
Likely he lost all the coins to Labcoin, ActM and AM. He is probably waiting for December hoping these stocks recover. There is no other explanation that makes an iota of sense.

I was pretty happy with Ukyo's chat on IRC, he is getting on top of things. He needs a little more time, and Im a patient man.
Excellent. I hope he resolves this to most of our satisfaction (there will always be people who will just not be satisfied no matter how it is resolved, for example, people angry that Ukyo did not post a message to stop deposits) and is able to have a great career afterwards. And of course, I also hope to get my, now even more valuable, 12 BTC back.

Ukyo, when you get a chance, please let us know what is up with Ukyo.loan, namely if there is any progress redeeming shares and if you still believe you will be able to cover the full amount.

Hi mgio, how is your redeeming going?
I'm still waiting. I talked to Ukyo maybe about a week ago. He told me about some big news on the horizon that would be announced soon that should bring him in a bit of income. I'm not going to say exactly what, but it's pretty exciting if it happens and should allow him to pay off the ukyo.loan shareholders.
The downside is that bitcoin is worth roughly 6 times it was when the loan was issued so instead of having to redeem $200,000 worth of shares, it's now $1.2 million.
You can bet that ukyo is also probably dealing with the SEC (why else would bitfunder have to shut down so quickly). I'm worried that his lawyers will eat up whatever money he does have left. They are the only ones who win in situations like this.
In the meantime, there is not much we can do. I still believe that Ukyo is doing his best to redeem these shares. I just am less and less convinced that he will be able to.
