More than I wanted to spend but I bought one more.  I'll wait until after the halving to decide if I need any more.

Anyone know the turn around time for bitmainwarranty in Denver?  The S7 they are fixing for me now needs to be sold to make room for the S9 I just ordered.

Sitting on the fence not sure what i want to do.

That's unlike of you to be sitting on the fence not sure what to do, you're usually a very decisive guy. Well, whatever you do, keep us informed!!!

Got four of them  and an s-7 running at the solar array  we can fit one more  pretty easy.

I've been wanting one of these since they first came out...

EDIT: AND ordered 1 for my sister!!!

Did the payment confirm immediately?

No it didn't

Whenever you place an order from them they send you an email.

I answer the email  and give them  the tx id that it is paid.

Here is my reply to the email for my june 12 2016  order

Sitting on the fence not sure what i want to do.

yea, me too. Too many variables that need to settle down first before I'll buy any S9's ... IE Halving, the Brexit and its world wide financial market jitters, whales invested in the BTC market waiting for top dollar from the Halving, then to dump out.... etc ...

The new batch is tempting after seeing the numbers you guys have been throwing up, but with only 12 days to halving.... I just can't do it... I gotta see what halving does before I dare take the leap.  Smiley

New price pegged to BTC.

it is okay if you want to buy coins from coinbase.   to realize exactly what your fiat cost is.

for me in NJ, USA

it is 3.125  btc  for miner and DHL
it is 3.150  btc  for miner and UPS
it is 3.116  btc  for miner and FedEx

I may use DHL since UPS cut me for 89 usd for 1 pair of miners.

Been trying to test different pool's this time I went ahead going for more time on Antpool.  You will see 3 day result's in past post- https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.15333209.  This was a 7 day mining test.   I am showing the machine in 6 day area as it did have a reset not sure why was not there when it happened.  But the good news is it was a good test and it recovered and started mining right back, so not a test I wanted but still reacted good to it.  The two full sized dashboard show earnings which I'm pretty happy with in 7 day's.

Below is full sized pictures of dashboard for info from pool side at 7 day's:
Day 7 - 24 hour graph: http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m25/notlist3d/S9/7d_zpssxk3a290.jpg
Day 7 - multi-day graph: http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m25/notlist3d/S9/7ddaily_zpsmn2hd2tf.jpg

Below is brief version of dashboard(just shows the multi-day graph from poolside on day Cool

What's the life expectancy on the S9?  The previous models only ran about 1 year so I'm hoping these can go longer.

what are you talking about?

I know of s-1's that still work along with s-3's and s-5's

They just are not very efficient and don't earn much money even with cheap power.

Yea this is pretty far off, not sure where he got the 1 year number.   But a LOT of previous gen miners still work for people, if you treat them good they will last a long time (in most cases).

For me personally I have had many different models, they they have have had long lives.   With "normal" electricity price for lack of a better term I have to upgrade at points due to efficiency to keep mining.  My old gear then goes to a new owner with cheaper or possibly "free" electricity.   But a LOT of gear runs much longer then your 1 year data.  Just look on the boards there are still decent amount of S3 questions considering how  long they have been out.

I think I have just enough coin for one more s-9. That would fill the spot up pretty much exactly.  Need to decide what to do.
