Is there a Paper Wallet gen site up yet?

No, there is http://bitmark.co/brain for key generation, and also inuit (cold storage), and bitcore forked for bitmark. So we have all the elements.

Paper wallets are so ugly, we need nicer ways to store a private key with optional encryption in physical form.

On which pool are the most miners?

We crafted the bitmark block rewards to give a fair reward to all consistent miners regardless of which pool they are on, if you are mining for more than a few hours then spread your hash or solo mine and you will get your fair share of rewards. This will also make the network stronger and more resilient.

There is no benefit to everybody being on one pool, the opposite is true.

I really like this coin and see the dedication the project Bitmark team has.  I am making a small donation in BTM to the foundation and in BTC for development.

Thank you for both of your donations, they will be put to good use as they can be most optimally used.

What's special about this coin?
DEV for sure  Smiley
This was not another copy&paste coin, look at first post to see the whole background behind bitmark.
It's my favourite scrypt coin.

For sure it's DEV, this is the most special.

Difficulty made a very weird jump. It went from 642.97400619 to 160.something (estimate was about 360) to exactly 642.97400619 again.  Huh

Every 720 blocks the difficulty changes. So it will be most profitable to mine the 720 easy blocks, but your payout will be slow as it takes 720 blocks to mature.
So the miners will need to put some hash to it also at the high diff blocks to get their payout. This ensures that miners wont be dumping, but selling of slowly (if they sell, i think alot just hold).

Just another genious thing about this coin. Smiley

When it is slow there is less currency mined too, sometimes 5x less.

BTM Supply: 792240 BTM, and we had planned: 957700 BTM - there is 165460 less BTM in the world

So while the hashrate is slow you find there is no currency released that was just mined, and no new currency to speak of. 2-3000 BTM per day when the trading volume is 10-20x that is not much.

what makes this different from doge microtransactions, there is a doge tipbot on facebook but no one uses it.

Exactly. There is no rush, we are not trying to sell you anything. Pop back in a couple of weeks when we have marking being used actively in a few places and try it, see what you think then. Maybe you could tell us.
what places are you working with? Do you think marking will ever be on Facebook or Twitter?
