Anybody already read about the BlackArrow Compensation for X1/X3 customers ? : Prospero X36

This is laughable.  They seriously think anyone is stupid enough to send them more money?Huh??  They stole, lied, and were rude and expect those that they screwed over to send them more money for ASIC's that are at least a generation old.  This is too funny to be true.  As in, I literally don't believe it, and neither should you.  Read the plan, its hilarious, you have no rights to the miners, can't choose where to mine them towards, no pics of the miners, absolutely nothing but the word of a company who has stolen millions that they will pay you out, 'once or twice per month".  Seriously, who thinks this shit up, its like they hired a retard to start writing their PR bulletins.  Or maybe that ugly chick is as dumb as she is ugly?

I still couldn't quite believe what they wrote, it makes so little sense that I couldn't understand why they would send that out, knowing that they screwed a ton of people over.

Thieving pieces of shit.

Merry Christmas Alex, how's it going in the UK courts for you, eh?

Do you have information others aren't privy to?  Is something actually going on with finding these people and bringing them to justice?

I do know someone did sue them.  Seeing as that person has repeatedly ignored my inquiries as to status after corresponding for several months I think the likelihood is that he won, but agreed to a non disclosure as part of the settlement.

I only say that as I've been involved in these sorts of things before.  It is very common for a party to ask for this if they have reason to want to shut people up going forward.  Considering the way these assholes have tried to control information I have little doubt they would ask for this.

If there was no settlement, there us no reason to not reply as there wouldn't then be any agreement.

So, I have not been told this directly, however my personal direct experience with other instances in civil/corporate legal battles leads me to think a settlement of some sort was reached.

That makes sense and I definitely agree.  Were you able to glean any information before the settlement?  Such as where was the lawsuit filed, the names associated with the lawsuit, addresses, and which law firm was used?

I know it was in the UK.  I am not sure if he sued Alex, BA or both.  As to address I'm not positive either, but I'd think it could be found via companies house, which is, I think, their corporate registry.

Last I heard the case had been filed, there was a hearing, another court date was set and then nothing after that.

Even Satoshi got ripped off for $420 by these scammers trying to buy an FPGA miner back in the day.

That kind of makes me feel a little better about the whole ordeal. The whole mess with delays, lies, compensation, it was all such a headache. Lucky I was only in for one X1 which luckily I got (albeit months and months and months after the original promised date) I've since moved that on and put that whole mess down to a learning experience.

I feel for the people in for thousands though... it just isn't right

Well, 2016 is almost here and the miner I paid thousands of dollars for in 2013 still hasn't been shipped and my request for a refund has been refused.

I bet these Romanian criminals are pretty smug about successfully committing a multimillion dollar fraud in the open.

Scam-Busting PSA: Beware of Black Arrow Software
...BA was about the worst of them all.  Tons of promises made that they didn't intend to keep with the lack of talent needed to actually make a working device.  Greed thrown in there somewhere as well didn't help.  This was basically an organization of thieves, liars, and scammers with the main goal to hurt hard working people and enrich themselves.  Just horrible horrible people in this world.

Indeed, Black Arrow were Professionally incompetent and inept if not dangerously negligent looking at the reports of fire.

If anyone has a spare PSU from a shut-down X-1.5 they want to part out please let me know via PM. One of my X-1.5's died after three days of hashing. The PSU seems non-functional. Alternatively, if you have an X-1 without a screen or wireless or bad ASICs and want to buy my X-1.5 for parts, let me know that as well.

Thanks!

This company and their Romanian management can most definitely be classified as organized crime.

My question is why is the Chinese government allowing this company continue operations despite all the complaints to police and authorities about fraud and theft? Is the problem of corruption within the state so great they can't go after foreigners who set up shop to commit crimes within their boarders?

dont forget matt carson / bobsag & minersource.net the official reseller for BA, who visited their BA sites and shared photos to lure customers, and then selectively scammed half of them.  he has either conspired with blackarrow owners or saw an opportunity early and took advantage of it to defraud customers and steal bitcoins.

why has the US government allowed this thief to continue operations in another state with oregonmines.com, after blackarrow?

Scam Report for oregonmines.com
Story:

Yet another in the long line of Matthew Carson's (aka Bobsag3) failed operations.
Minersource was booted from their last location and Matthew moved over with Terrence Thurber into Oregon Mines.
If anyone has money / miners with Oregon Mines you should immediately get that money back and those miners out of that facility.
For more information please review the threads.

Oregon Mines is the continuation of Minersource and other scam ventures of Terrence Thurber and Matthew Carson. They have locked their thread and stopped answering questions regarding their legal responsibilities with regards to Minersource. Further Matthew Carson was involved directly with Technobit to defraud people of chips, money and miners. Also note that Matthew Carson recommended Dogie be used in a number of projects in these forums. Choose who you trust wisely. Note that Loshia a member of the Technobit fraud with Marto74 also supported covering up the fact that Matthew Carson was a VP of Oregon Mines.

For what it's worth I've still got 4 X1s and 2 X3 units mining at 10c/kwh and the build quality of the units is really good, almost over-engineered.

It wasn't worth the stress waiting for so long, but in the end it wasn't a full scam either like I feared at the time.

I got nothing.

Fraud vs Theft.  If you can "prove" theft, you can get the law in the U.S. to go after whoever stole from you.  But if it's Fraud, "You paid for something, and it didn't perform" you're pretty-much on your own.  Fraud never gets punished substantially, so nobody bothers to enforce it.  Buyer beware...

What's in stock? How about all the Bitcoins they mined with our hardware. They don't need any customers to make a profit selling those.

Go to hell you fucking thieves!
