Thanks for trying all of that for me...I will try and buy a new wall adapter, but guessing it is a bad controller.  Wonder how long an RMA unit will take...

you have one miner correct? if you had two you could chain it to the other controller.  I would say ship it to me and I could run the two but if I recall you have great power prices?

I will walk over to mine and check it.

I
 a) power off the miner.
b) power off the ethernet controller--------i am using 5 volt 1 amp wall wart for this
c) pulled the wire that joins the miner to the controller
d) eth only plugged in  I put a 5 volt center pos dc in the eth controller and status lights lite up

So with ethernet cable and a power source those status lights turn on.  and with full connections they also turn on.

sounds like rma for that gear.

Status lights will not light up, but Ethernet lights up and blinks.  It is plugged directly into a Gigabit switch with a known good cable...and yes I have set a static IP in the 192.168.0.* range.  Should the status lights be on when the unit is powered up?

I can not log in to my ethernet controller...I have tried to reset it and same result.  The ethernet lights for the NIC light up and blink, but I can not ping it or http:192.168.0.254:8000 it.  I have tried 5v and 12v barrel connectors same result.  Can I run this miner without the controller in any possible way?  None of my status lights turn on when it is powered (is that normal?)  Any suggestions on what else to try?

it never lite up?   Try plugging it into a giga byte switch via ethernet jack and use a 5 volt positive center dc plug .

I know you are tech savvy enough to have a laptop with a 192.168.0.1 .

I run everything into a dlink router 192.168.0.1
If you are ping at it with a laptop to controller the laptop needs to be  192.168.0.1

This is a shout out to friedcat how about a gui with a rollover pool .. the ethernet controller has no rollover pool.  antminer s-3 allows 3 pools.  while I sleep if ghash goes down I lose my hash power. Would be nice to have a two pool choice or to at least state your controller does not auto switch pools.

If anyone can find out how to rma a bad board from FC or Canary's GB please post info here, thanks.

Did you send them each a pm?

I did yesterday as well emailing the customer service address and posting earlier here with no response from anyone as of yet. I have a board that has one bad chain (---) and will only hash 157 out of 205. It's a holiday weekend here so I will give the benefit of the doubt and see if someone responds by Tuesday.
good luck man. i hope they fix it fast.

Thanks, appreciate it.

I have a board with dead chips hashing at 126.53GHs (138.24GHs expected). This falls within the free replacement zone. How do we get a board replaced?

10% isnt that far off target - assuming you have to send your board in for RMA first is 12GH worth the time and losing 126GH of mining power for 1-2weeks? 12GH is only worth like $12 - hardly worth the time to dissassemble, package, ship, receive, assemble new board when youll lose out on $5 worth of mining income in the meantime

the 128 out of 138 is the working chip set of stats.  he should be more like  201 out of 207 .

the lower number is pretty flakey moves all over on my four boards, but the expected  for him 138 is way under the normal expected of 207.  that number should be rigid and only move when you change freq  say freq 260 = 199 gh, freq 270 = 207gh, freq 280 = 214gh

I can confirm they work on slush (bitcoin.cz) and mmpool (mmpool.org) as well. I'll see about posting our experimental slush proxy mod (which is still in progress) that I've been using to mine on ozcoin successfully for the last 24 hours.

Each board is supposed to be 200-215 gh/s.

I am still using ghash I don't have the time to setup a proxy.  It does work nicely with ghash.  I have tried different settings and it seems to prefer freq 260 it also uses less power at that setting.

The Be200 gui is really shamefully done only 1 pool no rollover.     This was a nice piece of gear and you spoiled it for the miners. I will not sell it I will mine it to death as to resell it with the current gui would be wrong. How about a  2 or 3 pool choice with rollovers in the gui, better yet it came late instead of a coupon or a rebate send out a new controller  with a gui that allows for 3 pool choices with auto rollover.

I was having issues earlier connecting to slush with one, but it's working beautifully through the modified ckpool proxy. Might try again later and see what was up.

Is this proxy available for download? Cheesy

also wondering this. using BFGminer as proxy gives me particularly high reject rates (although that could be some settings I need to change?).
