I really would like to see on blockchain.info, a list with places that accept bitcoin.
Today I added in openstreetmap, the first place that accept bitcoin. See the key: payment:bitcoin (http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/node/2178760338)
I think for the first time, piuk could just request from openstreetmap, all places that have the key payment:bitcoin and list the places on a page. Later when many places be added, could be implemented filter option like, by country, by city, restaurant,.....

I like openstreetmap because the data is free to be used in any way.

so my question is, can i easily download an iphone app from blockchain.info for an iphone user to send him some coin from my android as a demo?  or does he have to create a blockchain.info account before this can happen making it an impractical demonstration?

Even just a post saying "it's not permanently down" would be nice ...

Really disappointing to see no update on this?

How can you take such a popular feature off your website without even telling people if its temporary or down indefinitely.

Only thing I can think of is Blockchain catching heat for facilitating the anonymity portion which is what bitcoin stands for...

Friendly government officials have a word with you piuk?

Define soon.

Once we get out of the bumping facility, we should have something shipped next week at the latest.

Oops, sorry, wrong thread.

Here is a transaction that was one Satoshi for input, one Satoshi output and obviously then, no fee.

It never made it into a block.  It was sent via Blockchain.info/wallet I'm told.  It doesn't have an invalid input (double spend), so I would presume the Blockchain.info back-end bitcoin daemon would keep trying to re-broadcast the transaction with it not being included in any blocks.

Then recently that transaction output was used in a new spend transaction:

Of course, this new transaction won't confirm because one of the inputs hasn't confirmed.   But since that earlier transaction isn't still being re-broadcast (persumably, maybe it is but no nodes it is connected to will relay it) then no miners will ever include the earlier transaction and this transaction will never confirm as well.  But that leaves the Blockchain.info/wallet user stuck -- the Blockchain.info/wallet see those 512+ BTC as being spent and won't let the user spend them in a new transaction.

What methods to resolve this are available?

[Edit: Here's the thread with the request for assistance:

512 btc in a transaction that will never confirm, need help
 - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/solved-512-btc-in-a-transaction-that-will-never-confirm-need-help-147519 ]

just a correction, the transaction 1064fedccbb1225d6879c79a58e59cda795d4023da140f2ad0bc4c189e5e373f was not sent through blockchain.info wallet. This transaction is an automatic transaction that an address created with http://blockchain.info/api/api_receive sent after receiving this satoshi from other transaction.

This could be avoided if blockchain.info would only count towards your balance confirmed inputs, like the reference client does. This would spoil the fun of gamblers spending long chains of unconfirmed transactions though.

The user is also waiting on a transaction that was sent from blockchain.info without the minimum per-kB fee.

I agree with you. If the Send Money section of blockchain.info had a check box saying "Only use Confirmed Transactions", I would have remembered the previous transaction of 1 satoshi that won't be confirmed.

But I solved my problem importing the private keys of the addresses to my bitcoin original client and creating a transaction using 4x the default fee for KB.

It was removed in the last few days, no word from piuk yet why.. in fact he is MIA for a few days now.
He (or someone that works for him) has tweeted this 20 hours ago:

That's for Bitinstant deposits, not anonymous payments..

That is if you enabled anonymous payments.
How do you enable anonymous payments?  I looked through all the settings and could not find anything.  The anon payment option used to just show up in the send money menu but that option is no longer there.
If you do not set anonymous=false it defaults to on.
This sounds like you are talking about an API.  I am asking about the web interface at blockchain.info

Through the web interface at blockchain.info I used to be able to do anon transfers, now I can't.  What is up?
