Hey, been using CAT for a few days now and I'm trying different settings on 4-5 markets with manually input the Ping order. So what I've learnt so far really you have to look for "sideway market", study the low/high and set buy (or sell) accordingly, is this correct? Question is how to deal with when the market shifts and the pong order got stuck?? I'm thinking of setting a Pong Stop Loss, but that make you loss all (if not more) the profit from the previous Ping-Pong trade... For example, I set Stop Loss at 5%, I gain 1% from 5 previous trades, Market shifts and the Stop Loss Condition activated, I loss 5% which is all the previous profits...

Another solution is maybe just leave the Pong order like that and be patient, but I could take ages for the market to come back to that price point again... or is this common for trading?

Also, can you explain more about the "Advance Panel" button in the Ping Order Creator (in the Generator & Parameter) how to properly set it? As far as I can see, if I understand correctly, this can be a useful tool for the market that is constantly going up or down, since it seems like you can set the 'increment' for the ping order...but again, if the market switches to the other direction then the Pong order will get stuck...

Any suggestions/tips would be highly appreciated!

Yobit is frustrating. I think its better to use other exchanges instead.
It was a while profitable for me, but now it isn't worth the time.

There are many other exchanges that would be better, even with zero or at least lower fee.

I'm seriously thinking about drop Yobit support.
Actually CAT can't work on Yobit with 100% of its features : CAT Can't get the full Ticker System without perform like 160 API Call. That's not acceptable considering 1 single api response could take seconds to be completed.

So i have 2 choise
1 - drop the ticker api for yobit :
- in that case no volume/high/low/last prices will be loaded
- No porftolio estimated value
- No price rules over market values.

2 - Drop Yobit support, because i don't want to offer a "partially working" bot. CAT Must offer 100% of his functionality to any customer.

Offer this kind of service for yobit api is not something i want, but i have no other solution : no responses from Yobit admin and no technical solution.

Does someone is able to talk with Yobit admin OR find a solution to get the full TICKER System with a single api call??

 

On which markets is this happening?
It is not normal because
1 - Your order was created
2 - Your order seems not inside the MyOrder API.

If you try to load your order from market explorer, are you able to see it?

there's no need to run 2 instance.
Run 2 instances is dangerous : api call must have a value called "NONCE". That value must be unique.
CAT1 doesn't know nothing about CAT2 so you can get error.

The Print api option can be disable from the PREFERENCES panel.

Btw most problems (errors) start when I start trading more then one asset, or run 2 instaces of program or both.

yes i know - sampey is great - but this forum lets me only send 1 private message a day - so only way to reach out to sampey after that is by messaging in this thread... which is kind of spamming since other users should normally not be bothered with private messaging... however.... don't know who set this forum to be like that...
