according to my prediction, bounty will never die, bunty will remain there as long as ico still exist, i suggest you must be careful in choosing bounty, if wrong choose, you can get bounty scam
It's not dead yet. But an increase in participants made the bounty rewards smaller to every individual. But the advertising budget doesn't get bigger. Therefore, the reward for each participant is reduced. Participation can be easily limited. I will recommend to you that you try to find a bounty which limits the amount of participants. 
for now this bounty will not end quickly, because now this bounty is the life for ico and if bounty ends maybe ico will also end and no ico is going on, this is just a speculation and it will not happen.

Before we could earn a living from doing bounties myself and my Wife and now we can barely make ends meet and are contemplating on taking out a crypto loan to see us through over the enxt few months as our money is running out and so many projects that owe us money haven't paid us yet or are producing tokens that are not even getting on exchanges, so they are worthless. I will not give up though as I believe at some point the tide will turn for the better.

Bounty is not yet dead why because there are lots of bounty hunter still participating in bounties here in this community the problem is that the ICO or the company sometimes they turn to scam or didn't reach the goal they intend to reach by thos mean the ICO is not getting successful.
I think as long as there is ICO project then bounty will still exist because they need bounty hunter to be able to promote the project but sometimes get less pay and token price also much down

It is just a simple arithmetic behind it friend. The more participants that apply for a bounty campaign, the lesser the reward per participant. Since more people are trooping into bounty campaigns, automatically the reward will be lesser for each person at the end.

I think there is more participation and also most ico dont reach their target so basically you get half and also some bounty platforms just dont pay well at all
I think bounty are still alive the problem is that the number of people who participate in bounties have increase which is a very good thing as more people will get to know about crypto currencies
