for a newbie like you I find it difficult to find a bounty campaign because now the rule for joining a bounty is junior member to up. I think it's better that you have to explore the Bitcointalk world first and after that you are ready to participate in the bounty signature campaign.

It is very bad time to join bounties, I think only few ICO's will reach softcap and non will reach hard cap. I am saying this because ethereum is crashing, bitcoin is crashing, if everything is crashing no one is buying crypto and only way to buy tokens during ICO is with other crypto currencies so there are much less investors who will invest in ICO. I don't have strategy, I took some time to see what is project all about and check few details and that is it.

I know this is an old thread and for now to join signature campaign minimal is jr. member. And to choose the right project, you can choose ICO projects with high ratings on ICO rating provider sites like IcoBench, IcoMark, IcoDrops, etc.

As years passed by, bounties were getting harder to find, we should know that it's better to put effort on finding and spent time researching the ICO than registering in any bounty then at the end will just be a waste of time.

First things first - research first about the ICO you are going to participate and do all the necessary things to do just to check whether it's a scam ico or not. Bounty manager factor is also good if you have already know some of the best bounty managers in this forum.

understand the contents of the whitepaper. Sometimes reading / understanding the intent and purpose of a project feels boring, but this is an important part of choosing a project. Sure enough, even though it consists of a qualified team if the purpose and objective of the project are unclear it will reduce investor interest. Conversely, if the team that oversees a project looks less attractive if the purpose and objectives are clear, it is likely to make investors interested in the project

I see your rank is just newbie, it is better for you to focus in building your bitcointalk account firstly, before planning to participate in the signature bounties, because most campaigns don't accept newbies.
