Nah, Andrade will be blasted by Canelo, and as per Canelo, Andrade is no one, haven't face any quality opponents. Andrade just wanted to join the Canelo sweepstakes right now.

Most likely Caleb Plant will be the next fight that Canelo is looking at this division and then probably fight GGG for the biggest pay check. There are champions in LHW, but they are European so Canelo might skip that for a more lucrative fight with Plant and then GGG.

I guess he will, everybody wants to be part of Canelo to the extend that Andrade openly confronts Saunders and wants to have a piece of Canelo, but everybody knows Andrade do not have the resume or qualification to fight Canelo, he will have to line up and be the on the last line because he lacks the qualification, this is Canelo's era and I don't see it ending soon.

CANELO ERUPTS "GET THE F**K OUT OF HERE"; HEATED ALTERCATION WITH ANDRADE AFTER STOPPING SAUNDERS

Not familiar with him but you are talking about this boxer https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/468433?

I guess he has a nice record, he is undefeated with 30 wins and 18 wins from KO. If the promoter find it interesting, then give this fight to Canelo and let's see how Canelo will punish another undefeated guy.

^^ Yes, that damage could be permanent, if Mark Tibbs didn't stop the fight. And at the aftermath, it was reported that Saunders has multiple fractures to his orbital, very dangerous area to get injured in a boxing fight as it has a fatal effect in boxers.

Robert Garcia and Margarito was the best example. Being Mexican and proud and don't want to quit in their stool, and the effect? Margarito retired soon, as he cannot box anymore, and he was never the same anymore, can't get a license to fight in the US even if he wanted too because he will failed the medical test.

There are a lot of criticism for Saunders for quitting on his stool, but we cannot blame his team and the doctor, if he continues it could be the end of his career, I remember the great Sugar Ray Leonard had detached his retina on one of his fights but a successful surgery restore that, the two you mentioned are also good example, I hope Saunders is still ok he still has a lot of good fights left for him..

Right now Andrade is taunting Saunders to fight him, but we'll see if Canelo will pick him or he will instead fight Plant who is more deserving.

so it was the right decision for him to quit as he may have had suffered more if he did continue. Saunders' injury is not a small one. hope he can recover good from this surgery. now, we are looking forward who's gonna be next for Canelo. he will be a bankable boxer for a time now.

Canelo ended it with one punch in round 7 the punch that broke Saunders landed perfectly on a counter and based on his interview he knows that he hurt Saunders badly, that's all Canelo can give us he just needs one big punch and he can end everything, but Saunders put up a big resistance, but he just can't go on like this the whole fight, Canelo will soon catch him.

The thing is, before the fight, he started to trash talk and attack Canelo's previous opponents and tells that they all quit, now it comes back to haunt him. Yes, that one punch really did the damage and Canelo just continue to target that causing the eye to really swell and then later we found out the extend of the damage. I lost my bet here because I put Canelo by decision, but I'm good it's part of the game.
It may haunt Saunders, but his health is the priority here. Another two rounds and he will be permanently blind for the rest of his life. So the team did the right choice and may have said Saunders here. It's just trash talking, sooner or later after the fight, they will forget what Billy Joe said hyping this fight. And we will only remember how great Canelo is that night and taking Saunders WBO belt.

I'm one of the many people that were disappointed of Saunder's quitting but after some time i have realized that the Team have made the right decision. Maybe tough as due to time constraint but that decision have saved the health of their fighter as that is not his last fight.

That scenario was the same with the Pacquiao vs Margarito fight which was held on the same venue, Cowboy Stadium. Team Margarito and the referee which was Lawrence Cole did not stopped the fight even though Margarito's eye was badly swollen and now it had a permanent effect on his vision, could have avoided if they stop the fight early.

Nice win for the KO bet, I thought it was a close fight but Saunders got careless and tired in the early rounds. I hope he is okay, it looks like his eye was seriously injured that he cannot continue the fight. congrats to the winners, especially those who made the right prediction.

The fight was concluded when the more experience Alvarez does his thing in the late rounds and finally knocks out his opponent. That was a good fight earlier though most of the spectators know the result of the fight, no one knows that Saunders will give his best in the early rounds of the fight. But that's just the way it is, those who have more talents are always find their way to win the fight in an unquestionable way. I'm looking forward to his next fight hope that he will entertain us again as he did earlier.

There's no rematch for this fight I guess, Saunders will require more time to recover from the injury. Looking forward to a big fight on Canelo this year, he is getting more exciting to watch as he always finds a way to defeat his opponent, whether by KO or by decision, no doubt he is still at his peak.

By the way, as to the latest news, Saunders will undergo surgery.

It's not attractive anymore, Saunders did not live up to expectation the only rematch worth watching is with Golovkin, Canelo has two options now, go on and fight Caleb which is a good option or do a third match with Golovkin which is good for the boxing world, Golovkin is the only fighter who can engage and match Canelo's aggressiveness, I like the latter than the former.

No question about that, it's indeed a big fight but that fight deserves a wider audience which I think is not possible during the pandemic. Canelo is hot right now, so I believe he will be the favorite to win if they will have a trilogy against triple G. For me, I'm willing to spend money just to see a third fight as that fight we don't know who will win and we can expect a real close fight.

I have Canelo winning by 2 points in my unofficial scorecard. I agree that he had his moments and winning rounds, Saunders proved to be tricky for Canelo in the beginning. But once he adjusted, he started to hit good jabs too. In the beginning it was Saunders who are clipping Canelo with jabs, but once he got his rhythm, body attacks and then the upper cut, it was imminent that Canelo will win here.

Saunders is really very good in the early rounds, he is employing the same tactics Mayweather used when he beat Canelo, but unfortunately, it will not work anymore, he is facing a very mature Canelo, who knows what to do in the ring against any opponents I don't think any boxer in the middleweight can beat him he is the undisputed middleweight world champion.

It seems like Canelo really prepared for this match. It was a tough fight yet lots of people have already expected that Canelo would win this fight. His punches are too strong that it caused Saunders serious injury. I guess he already knows how to counter Saunder's movements. Saunders still needs lots of physical and strategic training.
Of course, he will not be top p4p if he is lazy and not training to the fullest specially in big fights like this. It really took a toll on Saunders because Canelo is really a heavy hitting. I don't know if you notice his body shot too, perfect throw. Saunders will really doing good but not enough damage to Canelo, but scoring in judges score card.

It's a dangerous injury, Canelo broke his orbital bone, if he continues to fight he might have suffered a permanent damage, the same thing with Margarito when he fought Pacquiao.

This is a physical sport, the injury could happen but we don't want to see injuries like this.

I don't how severe it is, but the way it looks, it doesn't look good to me.

The injury of Antonio Margarito suffered against Pacman is also serious, but that was due to series of punches and he never gave up.
This fight, we've seen the camp of Saunders gave up, so they surely want to protect their boxer's future.

It was really serious because he was taken to the hospital, that's how strong Canelo's punches are.

here's the news about that, but we will definitely see more update about his injury.

Quote
Billy Joe Saunders sustained a 'busted eye socket' during his stoppage loss to Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez in their world title unification fight, says promoter Eddie Hearn.

The British fighter was taken away by ambulance after the super-middleweight showdown was waved off before the ninth round as Canelo unified the WBC, WBA and WBO belts at the AT&T Stadium, Arlington.

Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks
That was a really disappointing ending. Billy Joe was more competitive than many expected and then he abruptly quit. Apparently he suffered an eye injury and that was the reason for the stoppage.

The next opponent for Canelo should be Caleb Plant to crown an undisputed champion. Plant doesn't have a great resume so I'm not expecting very much from him but he does move around a lot and could find a way to win some rounds.
There was a time where Saunders is leading in terms of points.
There was a time where Saunders can fight toe to toe against him and he is landing some solid punches.
There was a time where Saunders is mocking him and showed his tongue to him.
All of that was vanished just because of that one punch in Round 8.

All of the trashtalks of Saunders, all of the mocking that he done, he even suggested for a bigger ring to run for and yet he can't beat and now suffered his first loss in a disappointing way. I didn't thought that it will end like this because there is a time that Saunders is leading in commentators score cards and he can go toe to toe against him and he landed some solid punches too. Saunders suffered an fractured orbital bone as reported and I just hope that he will be ok.

Now that Canelo has 3 of the 4 titles, he will try to get the last one against Plant so we might see him and Canelo fight possible in September.
