It will really be bad for the image of Casimero if he gets knockout by Naoya Inoue. However, we have seen great fighters losing to Inoue so at least Casimero gets his chance against Inoue (if ever they will fight).

Yes, I would also like to see Inoue at least stay in this division for good and fight not just Casimero but other contenders as well like Luis Nery so that it can really cemented his legacy at 122 lbs before moving to another weight class that he wants to conquer.

This situation could imply one thing: Casimero's journey might face obstacles. His popularity largely stems from his winning streak, and there's ongoing anticipation that he'll eventually face Inoue. While the majority believes Casimero would lose, it's worth noting that Casimero has been unpredictable in the past and has triumphed as an underdog. So, it wouldn't be surprising if he managed to defeat Inoue, who is expected to be the heavy favorite.

Have you noticed that the names Casimero and Inoue are still frequently discussed? It appears they are considered among the best fighters in their division.

I agree if they are destined to fight, then they will have their chance to face each other.  It is that Casimero's action is too obvious that he is frustrated to fight Inoue as soon as possible, or it is just some gimmick so that he can gain some attention since Inoue is one of the hottest boxer today.

Both avenues can lead to a faster Casimero vs. Inoue fight. If fans continue to call for the fight as Casimero taunts Inoue, they may play a significant role in pushing for this matchup. Additionally, Casimero is taking the right approach by continuing to fight and improve his ranking. Perhaps Inoue will consider facing Casimero once he becomes the undisputed champion in the super bantamweight division.
Casimero has been consistent in taunting Inoue, but the fight has yet to materialize. Inoue recognizes that the matchup is considered a significant one, even though Casimero is not currently a champion. The hype generated by Casimero has reached a large number of fans, and interestingly, there are even Filipinos who don't believe Casimero would win due to his attitude. So, his strategy to gain attention has proven to be very effective.

But imagine if Johnreil Casimero gets knocked out hard by Naoya Inoue in their fight? Casimero's taunting or even his lifestyle created a lot of haters even to his own countrymen so he will most likely get bashed a lot if he loses badly. But hopefully, Casimero is well-composed if the worst-case scenario happens. Because I am really expecting their fight to happen next year unless Tapales scores an upset this December. Inoue's handlers already said that they would stay in the division if ever he becomes undisputed and named Casimero and Luis Nery as the targeted opponents. Hopefully, it will be Casimero in the US. Nery is banned in Japan so Casimero has the edge if Inoue wants to defend his undisputed belts in front of his countrymen.

If Casimero became a mandatory challenger of Inoue this fight will happen but if there's nothing like that will exist then maybe we cannot see this fight to happen. Also maybe Inoue's camp is just waiting for Casimero to be out of his prime so that he can easily dispatch this guy and continue to build his legacy. If he really want to fight then maybe this one happened already with no distractions or other things stopping it. I also don't think Inoue will fight outside in japan since he always make sure that he has a advantage in this fight especially playing at home.

If such a plan will be followed and Casimero will also win his upcoming fight, I think that opportunity will be good for Casimero,
Inoue is more comfortable playing at home and with Nery's case, it would be fit for Casimero to take the challenge,

A good way to settle whatever it is between Inoue and Casimero, they will meet and showcase their individual talent and show the fans
who's better between them.

Even before, Casimero is eager to fight Inoue and it became a hype that many fans are looking forward for this to push through. Inoue is a monster and a champion so fighting him can make Casimero's name popular among other boxers. But the question is, do he stand a chance to win? For now, he needs to prove himself by winning through KO since his opponent is not someone who can bring him into the limelight.

Casimero will do anything to be able to meet and fight against Inoue in the Batam super class and later after the fight between Casimero vs Oguni is finished it is very likely that there will be a direct open challenge that will be conveyed to Inoue side.
Everyone is supporting and calling for a fight between these two boxers and of course it is not only Inoue who is in the spotlight as a hot fighter but Casimero will also experience the same thing as Inoue.

I really can't wait for the challenge given by Casimero and Inoue accepts the challenge.
I'm sure this fight will also make a lot of money so Inoue will definitely accept and be interested in fighting Casimero at super batam class.

Same here, it's kind of late already since Casimero is still fighting to have a decent rank in this weight class and on the other hand, Naoya Inoue is already on his way unifying all the belts against Tapales. After that, we're still unsure if Inoue will still remain in this division if he already achieved his goal as the undisputed champion because there is also that other chance that Inoue will climb again.

I don't know why others are having that as a problem.

Casimero is fighting to get back in the champion list, not to chase Inoue or what. It doesn't matter anymore if Inoue will climb up to the next division if he wins against Tapales in their unification fight. Casimero just needs to follow his own timeline and win as much as possible in all of his next fights until he is in a title match regardless of who will be his opponent.

I agree when Casimero  go up in weight, Inoue was still on the 118 lbs.  So the reason why Casimero go up in 122 lbs is not about chasing Inoue but when Inoue moved up to the same division, Casimero started to target Inoue again which looks like he is chasing Inoue for a fight.

If it is destined that he will face Inoue soon, then so be it. His career is not all about facing Inoue in the first place. I know it's really exciting to watch the face-off between Inoue and Casimero but Quadro Alas can move forward even without fighting Inoue.

For now, Oguni is the one which Casimero needs to fight and win against. After that we will wait for any update for his next opponent
hopefully if ever, it isn't Inoue yet but someone who is also close to a belt challenger.

He might get there someday since Casimero is now ranked by most boxing councils.

Another win against Oguni, especially if that's an impressive one will boost again his ranking, and now close to being a title contender again.

And no need for those fans to be worried since there's no plan for Inoue to move up if he wins against Tapales, at least "for now". Adding to that, if Tapales won instead and upset The Monster, Casimero would now be close to facing Inoue much more. But that was too early to think.
Casimero just needed to be consistent in winning his future fights including this bout so that he will move, even if it's just a decision, the important thing is that he will win. But if ever he can do a knockout result, then he should do it in this fight so that people will again get excited and will start calling for a fight, we never know, something might happen that we have already waited for a long time now.

If ever Tapales wins, he will have more chances. I'd say that he should fight Tapales first so that if he can win, Inoue himself will come for him. No need to call him as Casimero will be a target as he will be the new belt holder.

yeah, i guess it is more on inoue winning over tapales here. but casimero should continue what he is doing, take each fight and win. and maybe his path to inoue will be faster. because if there will be controversy regarding his weight again, his actual fight will be pushing thru and delayed again. so he always needs to be prepared for the upcoming fight and get that belt, if there's any.
i know, a lot are looking forward to see the inoue vs casimero here. but casimero should wake up his mind and conquer each and every fight he is in.

I believe Casimero is putting in the effort to stay active and win all his fights. However, this year, he hasn't faced many quality opponents. This is only his second fight of the year, and it might be his last, so he needs to end the year with another significant win. Perhaps next year, he'll have the opportunity to face top-ranked super bantamweight fighters.

As for Inoue vs. Casimero, it's unlikely to happen this year, especially if Inoue beats Tapales. There's a chance Inoue might decide to move on and not honor his commitment to stay in the division for long. This would leave Casimero in a chasing mode.

btw, casimero's current promoter, Ito is a japanese. so if he is really up to facing inoue, i believe his promoter can make it happen. that is, if he already beats all those boxers before reaching inoue's level.

Casimero should go for a knockout, his last win against Fillipus Nghitumbwa was not impressive considering that it was held in front of his countryman, and interest in Inoue's fight will heat up again if comes out with an impressive win.

Beating a KO artist with 11 wins, all by KO, before the fight isn't impressive? I think your standards are too high. Casimero won a tough battle, and what's important is that he won via unanimous decision. Perhaps at that time, Fillipus Nghitumbwa was underestimated, but his record indicates he's a volume puncher, and he was undefeated at that time. If a KO comes, that's great, but Casimero's primary goal was to secure the win. Most likely, a KO could happen if Oguni tried to avoid leaving the fight in the hands of the judges.

Casimero vs. Nery could be next; who knows? After that, he might become a mandatory challenger for Inoue. Let's trust the process, one step at a time. When we don't expect too much from Casimero, he may surprise us by delivering a good win.

I heard that Casimero had cheated his age when he was 16 declaring he is 18 just to get into professional boxing.  So from that information, Casimero is only 32 so he is some years away from being past his prime and I agree that Casimero needs an impressive win in his upcoming fight so that the boxing council will find him worthy of the title shot.

Did they correct it? On the internet, he is already 34 years old but if it's true that his real age is only 32 years then all of his potential opponents should know that they are fighting a Casimero that is 2 years younger, it works to Casimero's advantage if his opponents thinks he is old but his body is not.

Casimero is aging fighter so chances for this fight to happen is so slim since he doesn't anything hold to get convince to fight Casimero. But if Casimero will get a championship belt where Inoue camp is interested to get then maybe we can see their match up to happen so he really need to win against Oguni and get win on more bigger matches to have good chance to provoke  Inoue and make this fans dream fight to happen.

Casimero is 34 years old his last fight was not good I'm not saying that he is past his prime but he needs to have impressive fights to have good fights that are worth title contention, there are unpredicted that happen in boxing we just never know if Inoue's management decided to talk to Inoue's management to have a title fight before Inoue moved up of course this will happen after he beats Tapales.
Inoue and Casimero both have Japanese managers and promotions so there's a possibility that this could happen, if Casimero knocks Oguni out Japanese boxing could demand Inoue to step in for revenge.

So, it's quite normal and somewhat understandable if they, the fans, will still assume the same scenario that Casimero is still interested against Inoue.

I agree with you, fans still hoping that chances for these two fighters to meet inside the ring is still possible, though
we can't speak for both of them, but we can always presume that it might take place.

Casimero doesn't have any control of the situation already, he is no longer the champion. Perhaps the only reason is that he can't keep his mouth from mentioning Inoue's name and that's why people are still very intrigue and interest on whether he will fight Inoue or not.

He can continue mentioning Inoue if he beats and knocks out Oguni his last fight is not good if he mentions Inoue after his last fight people will not believe that he can beat Inoue he needs to level up his game and prove that he has what it takes to beat Inoue and maybe Inoue's promoter will notice it and finally arrange a match, with how Inoue perform and reputation he is only going to pick boxers who deserves like a champion like himself or with a good rank in the 4 boxing organization

It's Casimero who needs Inoue more than Inoue needs Casimero, Inoue can just ignore Casimero because he is hungry to conquer new weight classes and titles.

True, he can mention Inoue's name all he want, but he can't knockout Oguni here, I doubt that Inoue's team are going to be interested even if Casimero has a Japanese promoter.

And as much as we really love Casimero, he first 2 fights are not that impressive in the super bantamweight. So it will be a big disappointment if he can't beat Oguni impressively. He will just be another another boxer below Inoue and we are not sure if he will get his chance again to become a champion. Inoue will probably go and hunt for the next title in higher weight class and not be bothered by not fighting Casimero.
