And Foster winning against Vargas, the Featherweight division might go back with him as the WBC champion. So this fight is very important for this two, because sooner or later the winner might be Vargas next target once he moved down.
It was upset, Vargas doesn't look like a champ here. Foster knew what to do in the ring, he was in control of the fight until the very end, and this guy is so lucky to have won his first championship fight. So no more Vargas vs Magsayo, but if Magsayo will fight Foster, he'll be fighting a better fighter.
Vargas goes on the proverbial, "biting off more than you can chew", and so Foster deliver his promise in this fight.
So I do agree with what most posters said, it will be the winner of this fight as interim champion vs Vargas who is the regular champion of the WBC. He failed in his campaign to move up, but the good thing is that he didn't vacant. Maybe he tested going south, but it didn't work with him as he take too much and Foster was the better man that night.
Less than a month for this fight, but I have yet to see the odds on my favorite sportbookies.
