Joshua to win both fights: 0

Will there be betting odds for this?

I guess the odds will be x50, if it happen that it's available, then I might take a chance risking my money to that although I have a feeling it's almost impossible. Fans have spoken, they will not be wrong because Fury was really impressive.

Good for Joshua as he really need to train hard here, it's the world vs him in this fight as we can see in the result of the poll.

Mayweather is on friendly terms with Fury and Joshua. When recently asked who would win he refused to name a winner. If he gets involved training one fighter he will alienate himself from the other one so no chance will he get in to the Joshua camp. If Fury or Joshua allow others to get involved with their training it will unbalance the structure they have with their own teams so it is clear it will not happen.

I agree with the bolded text, either camp can't just let people come in to help them train as the people around them are all experts in what they are doing. It's just Floyd's way of throwing his name into this fight hoping to get involve in a fight with this kind of magnitude.

Mayweather added that he was not on such close terms with Fury, but nonetheless praised him as a "great guy."

I am disappointed this thread received just 30 votes in the poll. I hope we can get to the 50 votes mark soon  Wink

I just voted and I think the other just don't know that there has been a poll going on in this thread. I was shocked that most of the users are in favor of Fury the same as I do. Man, Fury is something that Joshua cannot be underestimated with his unique skill to throw some punches and knock out his opponent at any round, he should not blink or he will lay in the floor when the time he opens his eyes.

50 votes is an easy target once they will finalized the date of this fight and started promoting and hyping this one, this is one big fight that boxing hardcore fans are waiting for.

I've read an article lately that Mayweather Jr offered his services to help train Joshua into this fight and i would not be surprised if Mike Tyson would do the same  Smiley.

Boxing fans is still downgrading Joshua's capability, he is capable of knocking out anybody and he has improve a lot since losing to Ruiz, this is going to be a psychological fight, both are capable of dominating a fight my favorite to win here is Tyson but I don't rule out the possibility that Joshua can beat Fury, he is capable and he always can if the opportunity presents itself.

Yes, of course, Joshua is capable of beating anyone in the division including Fury.

But boxing fans including boxers predicts that Fury will beat Joshua. Because Fury is very technical boxer and also a heavy puncher. That two reasons alone makes it hard for Joshua to overcome, but Fury is the taller guy as well.

And then we have seen the Fury has a granite chin, although broken by Wilder, he was able to "weather the storm", get up and finished the first first. Sadly, he was rob but he dismantled Wilder in the rematch. It's going to be a long shot for Joshua to beat Fury, in my personal opinion.

the bookies more or less will favour Fury here. but what odds they will give on this match, is to be seen. we dont even have the date and place yet. but definitely this match is one of the most anticipated upcoming fights in boxing. now, it is up to the 2 boxers what kind of preparation they will have on each camp.

Even before the fight was finalized, we already know who is the favorites in this fight .

As per https://www.oddsshark.com/boxing/fury-joshua-odds-and-prediction, here are the betting odds of the fight.

No need to talk about another Wilder versus Fury match. For me, there is no need to negotiate a Wilder-Fury III. If Fury will win over Joshua in their first match, Wilder would challenge Joshua. That's the right match for both of them since both of them are losers against Fury. There is no way Wilder would immediately face Fury after Fury's win over Joshua. And also, Wilder will have to recover first from the psychological effect of his first professional career loss. It seems he is still suffering from it until now.
I have not thought about that but that is not a bad scenario, whoever wins that hypothetical fight then can get to fight Fury again, as long as we get big fights that is fine with me, promoters try to hype fights too much, in my opinion they need to get to the fans what we want and that is to see the best to go at each other and see who emerges victorious out of the fight, the only problem is that if Fury wins all of the fights then there is not going to be anyone left to realistically challenge him during the next years.
Yeah, it's possible, they are the big 3 of the heavyweight division. The only fight we wanted to see though is Joshua vs Wilder, because obviously we haven't seen them in the boxing ring. Fury vs Wilder trilogy could still be there if boxing fans wanted it and the money will be right. The rest of the heavyweights have been beaten by the big 3 already, unless someone in the horizon pops up and make a name for himself to challenge anyone of them.

Very surprising that no one voted Joshua will beat Fury and the majority of participants voted unanimously that Fury will beat Joshua in their two-fight deal, I voted one each for them, if the two fighters will go on the hands of the judges they will likely give it one apiece so they can have a trilogy because the trilogy will make money for everyone if they have a trilogy, this is the biggest fight for decades, and the winner here will have a great legacy as one the greatest in boxer of this era.

There are 2 votes for;
Quote
1st Fight: Joshua -=- 2nd Fight: Fury

Fury got all the attention so it's normal, if you trust Joshua to win and you vote for him, then good luck because this looks like another big win by Fury. Actually if I would compare Joshua against Wilder, I guess Wilder is better and that better fighter already vow down on Fury.

Joshua like Wilder does have the tools to damage and even knock down Fury but it seems any chance of their possible success depends on Fury lowering either his guard or his level.

In a high intensity and high stakes heavyweight championship of the world fight I do not see Fury making mistakes that would allow Joshua to an opportunity.

Having a poll shows which way the forum members are leaning so it is good to them  Grin

This one clearly is leaning towards Fury winning both fights against Joshua.

Quite obvious but lets not really cross out the probabilities for Fury to be taken down.We dont know on what are the training had been done but its really hard to ignore when you do actually see
when it comes to their fight performances. You can really differentiate the two when it comes to certain aspects or qualities.

I cant really deny that majority of people who voted including me will really be choosing Fury on this one.

It's a very obvious answer that most of us are rooting for Fury to win.

I think this is also what people think outside the forum, I like that everytime you have sports thread you make a poll, this tell the community of our voice.
Most of the time the outcome is correct but there are also poll that majority are wrong, just like the Lopez vs Loma where majority voted for LOMA to win and turns out Lopez upset him.

Voted "1st & 2nd Fight: Fury". Despite Joshua looking more athletic, I think that Fury has more speed and power in his fists. Based on wiki info, Tyson fought more experienced guys than Joshua. And he already fought against Joshua-like-boxer - Wilder. Fury just need to repeat his tactics, while Joshua looks to me like a pumped bodybuilder, who trains boxing (despite he has gold in Olympics). Joshua is more Olympics orientated boxer, while Fury is more pro.

I voted just the way you did. I am giving both 1st and 2nd fight for Fury here as well. If that happens, I don't think a third fight is still necessary. Fury is a much better boxing strategist than Joshua. Physically, Joshua seems more fit than Fury but in terms of performance Fury is really much better than Joshua. I am also giving the upper hand to Fury in terms of power. The same way I do in terms of confidence. I think Fury is really a better fighter than Joshua.
A great majority of the members of the forum think that Fury is going to win both fights and I do not think this is because of hype, I think it is obvious that out of the two Fury is the best by far, I also think he is going to win both fights and he will do it convincingly which will mean that there will not be a need for a third fight, but that is fine if Fury wins both fights that could give Wilder enough time to train and improve himself so we can finally see Fury vs Wilder 3.
