His father looks like him, so he probably know.
I agree
No date and no venue yet because they are still finalizing but once its finalize, the fighters are obliged to fight because they sign a contract.
I disagree... If they do manage to get the fight going within 3 or 4 or 5 10 months because nobody is willing to pay the fighters the money then they are not obliged to fight each other.
The contract is only valid if they get a venue booked and someone is willing to pay them a guaranteed minimum upfront cash fund then the remainder of their salary will be received from shared revenue such as promotions, gate receipts (if spectators will be allowed in the venuw) and TV pay per view.
Maybe the revenue expected is not gonna be huge due to the pandemic, but he is telling that Fury should fight with or without AJ, I guess that's wrong, why not just fight AJ with a lower purse if their expectation will not be meet?
The revenue is confirmed 50% each for the first fight. It is also confirmed 60%-40% in the rematch.
That is guaranteed in the contract no matter what the actual prize fund will be but both fighters will be looking to pocket at least $100 million each from the country hosting the fight then over $66 million each from pay per view TV deals and then the same things happens again for the rematch.
The contract between Fury and Joshua states they have to find a mutually agreed venue within 30 days otherwise the deal is off and they are free to pursue other fights:
