According to a report Monday night from Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix, pay-per-view distribution is the significant obstacle that has prevented Davis and Garcia from finalizing their agreement.

Again just like the other fight, the sticking point is the network that is going to air this fight. Davis in on Showtime, while Garcia is on ESPN.
I do hope that they can meet halfway so that this fight is going to be made and for sure this will be another blockbuster fight for early next year.
It's all about money and if they can meet halfway, then the fight may proceed, we don't know yet if there's already a negotiation behind but for sure it will be announce or be leak around the web, let's wait for any update and see how things will be finalize.
The said fight has been in limbo for months but the fighters is keeping them alive through this social media accounts and if I'm not mistaken, there was a confrontation in a club wherein this two has some sort altercation. And then they go back to their twitter and fire back at each other.
I don't want to preempt everything, because this is a big fight even though they don't have any belts in the line. I said I don't want to preempt it's because of the Crawford vs Spence fight wherein as a fan we thought that it's already lock in until we find out that Crawford will have a fight this fight not name Crawford.
So let's see and wait till they settle down the sticking point on which network are going to televised this fight.
And Ryan further this with this statement,
“We gotta get this BS figured out. This should have been the best couple of months in boxing. Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford fell apart. Me and Tank running into issues. That’s not what boxing is supposed to be about. Respectfully, celebrity boxing should not be defining our sport.
“Everyone talks about player empowerment in the NBA and other sports leagues. It’s time to have a real conversation about player empowerment in pro boxing.
“I want this fight for my career and, real talk, my mental health. The guys in charge can make this happen. Don't let this break down. I’m asking on behalf of everyone who loves the most beautiful sport in the world.”

To some extend Ryan is saying the truth here, I mean if a fighter wants to fight someone, then his manager or network affiliation should try their best to set things up. Unfortunately, unlike any other sports, in boxing there are a lot of stumbling block and sticking point as far as negotiations is concern.
And just like the Crawford vs Spence that falls apart, we don't want to miss this fight between him and Tank and for sure there will be a demand for it.
