That would be a big treat for the boxing fans if we will ever see a Davis vs Haney fight. It's power versus a defensive fighter, we will see which fighter will win. But the fact that Davis are not agreeing with the fight yet AFAIK, that only tells that he understands how risky the fight with Haney is. He wants to maintain his undefeated record by fighting a boxer that he thinks he has an advantage.

Many are claiming that they are better than Pacman but they are wrong because all they care now is their undefeated record, that's why promoters would not like them if they can't bring a big fight where fans aren't sure which side will win.

Putting this in my calendar because I became a big fan of John Ryder after that fight against Canelo Alvarez.
He has a tough chin and even if he was knocked down by Alvarez in the fifth round of that game, he came back strong at the remaining round of that fight.  Ryder has the heart of a fighter and I bet he learns a lot of lessons during that fight. He lacks being aggressive, he is more on defense although he can surely take a beating because of his strong body.
I want to see if he will have a different strategy against Jaime Munguia. Perhaps starting it strong will be better and surprise Jaime that he became different after that Canelo fight.

Their undercard is stacked with title fights.

Ryder is a super underdog but I think I will bet for him on this one. As a winner only because I doubt a KO will happen. He is tough but I don't see him throwing a big haymaker either.

Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are much bigger names internationally than Gervonta Davis and we don't see them making these crazy demands just for the privilege of being able to negotiate. Either Davis has a massively inflated ego or he does not want to fight Devin Haney.

We know the Saudis' money is good because they have been able to make these superfights happen where negotiations had dragged out for years. There is no need to shower Davis with gifts and stroke his ego. He can accept the fight and probably make the most money he's made in his career or he can continue hiding behind Floyd and Al Haymon's protection.

On Ryan Garcia and Rolly Romero, it appears that what they say on their interviews and what they share in social media might only be a tactic to gather everyone's attention hehehe. The teams and managers of both have never stopped negotiating.

According to this latest news update, King Ry vs. Rolly Romero is almost a certainty in Las Vegas on April. If King Ry wins a championship, it will certainly be good for super lightweight where King Ry, Haney and Teo might fight each other for unification.

We also have a great fight in Munguia vs John Ryder this weekend.

It will be Ryder's first fight after he was defeated by Canelo Alvarez more than 8 months ago. And then Jaime Munguia, the upcoming star that Golden Boy is trying to build up for years. Obviously, Munguia is the younger of the two, and Ryder almost 4:1 underdog in this fight.

Gonna be a good test for Munguia here, and Jaime, but either Decision or by Knockout is very attractive.

Yes, most likely the Saudi Arabian authorities is really a big fan of boxing and Heavyweight fights in general. And might not have heard of this youtubers. But overall, it's good to the sports and Jake can still fight in the US still and make some money.


It's probably that Rolly Romero is with the other camp and it might take sometime for them to negotiate. So instead, after signing Jose Ramirez, they wanted to milk him and give Ryan Garcia. Ryan might not like it though, as he said that he is not interest to fight Ramirez. It might be a problem for Golden Boy, but lets see how Oscar will diffuse the tension here as we have noted that they don't have good relationship already and Ryan putting more fire as lately he is trying to get close to Floyd.

It only makes sense for Ryan Garcia to fight Rolly Romero for the belt, and it maybe will create a lot of noise and hype as Rolly is also a trash talker. But in terms of talent, I don't think that he has what it takes to beat Garcia.

All Garcia have to do is to avoid that power shot of Romero and then at the same time, try his left hook as Rolly is not known to have a good chin. But it seems that Oscar wants all in house money and that's why he wanted Jose Ramirez for Ryan Garcia, but the risk is very high here.

Beterbiev and Bivol both showed an eagerness to battle each other. They are likely glad that Alalshikh can assist them in making it a reality. They have different promoters behind them and it makes the match challenging to make. Everything has a cost and with the huge wealth KSA has, it is easier for dream matches to become a reality.

Alalshikh can send ten Ferraris to Gervonta Davis but the boxing authorities in KSA do not need the A side show and delayed dealings. They see Haney as an undisputed champion and it is an opportunity for Davis to battle for the belts. But Davis has a different take and is certain that Haney needs him.

Rolly Romero is not even close to the championship level. I cannot believe how Romero is a champion equivalent to Lopez, Haney and Matias. Teofimo Lopez released his sparring match with Romero for disrespecting Oscar De La Hoya. Pay attention to how easily Lopez mocks Romero, a class C boxer.

For sure no one here wants to see an amateur fight and so Turki Alalshikh the Saudi Arabian Adviser at the royal court doesn't want some kind of boxing like this either, he wants a seasoned veteran fighter like Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather, Gervonta "Tank" Davis, Devin Haney, Artur Beterbiev, and Dmitry Bidol kind of fighter to fight on whoever would win from that for sure they are curious on what will happen and who's going to win, but keeping away from Saudi Arab the likes of the Paul Brothers and other Youtuber wannabee  boxers, which is OK for me and boxing likes this surely stays at Misfits only,


Nice point, for sure if they can get great boxers just because of their money and power then why not get a professional veteran rather than getting amateur fighters to represent themselves in their country for sure amateur boxers are a big NO for them they surely love professional Champion that can likely step up and still fight,


Rolly Romero and his Scheme in buying the referee's side, if that is what I understand for sure is what it is Rolly Romero is just pretending to be great, he is baffled when said that Manny Pacquiao does 3000 sits up a day, or 15 hundred sits up for sure Rolly Romero didn't believe what the guy just have said, here is the video

That is good news for fans of both Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol sure they wanted to see the fight between these two boxers and Turki Alalshikh is making it happen but it is still going to be the decision of both boxers if they like to fight at Saudi Arabia but for sure Turki Alalshikh will fund that fight that is for sure, and I saw that Turki Alalshikh wants to get Gervonta Davis to fight Devin Haney in Saudi Arabia aswell but Gervonta Davis has twitted “They made me mad. If they want me they gotta send something to my front door…like 2 Ferraris or sum! Like before I even THINK about going over there.


They don't like the Exhibition matches right now that is for sure, maybe they realized that they are just wasting money on those, but maybe it is because they are not just interested with such amateur fight events for sure they are just interested in the great boxers and considered those that are not well-known to doesn't really have some value,

The crowd and authorities in Saudi Arabia likely saw the distinction between boxers and YouTubers. They are happy with the professional boxing matches and they no longer need the YouTubers in the kingdom.

Rolly Romero was safeguarded by the ref to get the championship belt. I see no reason why Ryan Garcia and Oscar De La Hoya dumped Rolly Romero. Rolly Romero is a champion and is a simpler match than Jose Ramirez. Jose Ramirez even though I have not seen him in a while and is no longer a champion, this boxer is better and is above the level of Rolly Romero. This match is dangerous for Ryan Garcia, but I respect him for accepting to battle Jose Ramirez.

Isaac Pitbull Cruz might be a better fight for King Ry, I reckon. King Ry's tactics will be a very entertaining show vs. someone who fights similar to Mike Tyson hehehe. Also, King Ry will be fighting in the lower weight division on lightweight where he will have a size advantage and certainly a longer reach than Pitbull. He is not ready for a championship fight on a higher weight division against Rolly Romero, I reckon.

It would be much more preferable for the fans to witness Devin Haney fight Teo Lopez and Rolly Romero to unify the super lightweight division. This Rolly Romero on King Ry only wants someone with a big name to win a big purse.

I don't think boxing fans will also be happy seeing Paul getting his fight in the kingdom as this is just exhibition fights. And it's obvious that Alalshikh is a big fan of boxing, the way he shoulder everything and allowing big fights going into Saudi as they have a lot of money.

For Rolly Romero, he was just gifted with that belt, and so we can say that he could be one boxer that is very lucky to get a championship when he should have lost that fight. For Ryan, it seems that GBP wanted him to be tested against former champion Jose Ramirez. But not sure if Ryan is interested though and everyone is leaving as to who Ryan wanted to fight. And so this is another tug of war between him and Oscar and it might turn out ugly again.

Saudi Arabia transformed boxing to a different level. Big boxing matches that typically require time to arrange and are politically difficult were accelerated. Thanks to Turki Alalshikh and the leaders of the kingdom. Turki Alalshikh wanted to keep on pushing the large matches to occur. Fury versus Usyk and Joshua versus Ngannou in February and March. And there is more to come, Alalshikh referred to Beterbiev versus Bivol and recently, Haney versus Davis.

There was another buzz when Alalshikh showed no interest in carrying YouTubers into the kingdom any longer. This is sad news for the fans of Jake Paul and other YouTubers who like to box.

Rolando "Rolly" Romero is an easy fight for Ryan Garcia that is for sure, all of his fights except Gervonta Davis were all cherry-picked, but you can say that I am Bias because I really don't like the way he talks, and the way he thinks he though he is a great boxer all he has was the WBA super lightweight belt, on the Super lightweight he will surely have a hardtime unifying the belt the WBC Champ was Devin Haney, the IBF champ was Subriel Matías, and the WBO was Teofimo Lopez which he already got a hard time against Devin Haney, for sure Teofimo Lopez will also be a hard fight for him aswell,


I recently watched this fight and for sure even though on paper it is not unfair Ed Matthews has a chance to win, because he is still an amateur he is easily gassed out in this fight while Luiz Alcaraz Pineda even though Matthews catches him with his punch he recovered easily and he can surely go for almost 10 rounds for sure, that is the level of condition this two have for sure while Ed Matthews surely have that slick move and skills but the condition of Luiz Alcaraz Pineda as a professional boxer is still there,


These two surely have some skills maybe it is the way they train that they have such movement, but for sure all Fox Townley's advantage was his reach and height and that was it, for sure this two needs to be in a separate division these are really unfair, but because this is an exhibition match it is not prohibited the referee should monitor the fight even more and the rounds were just 4 to 5 rounds, it is still unfair for him to fight a opponent bigger and heavier, but for sure Jonah Joseph Chris accepted this fight and got a consent to fight a bigger and heavier opponent,

It is unbelievable what happens with every fight in Misfits Boxing there are canceled fights, and I know this is just amateur fighting but it was still entertaining because we are watching non-boxers fight in this exhibition match,

Ed Matthews VS Luis Alcaraz Pineda


This is the Mystery fight for Ed Matthews well even though his opponent has many losses he is still a professional boxer while Ed Matthews is just an amateur, this is really not fair for Matthews, this is a skilled fighter even though Matthews had the early knockout from Pineda he stood up and you can clearly see that Ed Matthews is breathing heavily then Luiz Alcaraz Pineda just busted the Knockdown to Matthews then he was saved by the bell,  but when round 2 comes Ed Matthews has come with a blitz against Pineda but for sure Luis Alcaraz Pineda evade it and retaliated with his own punches that Knock Matthews out of the ring that let a win for Luiz Alcaraz Pineda, clearly not a great fight but it was entertaining just a sense of watching different boxing.

Elle Brooke VS Andrea-Jane Bunker


For sure it is not a great idea for Bunker to seek to avenge his loss to Brooke back in their 1st fight in 2022, but you can clearly see the difference in this fight right now with their 1st fight you can clearly see they already trained a lot, from their movements but we can clearly see that they are still amateurs, you can see that they want to clinch more often then punch each other which the referee keeps on breaking, and in the 3rd round you can clearly see that Elle Brooke have knockdown Bunker in that round, but he referee didn't see it and keeps the fight back up, and that big right hand did land on Bunker that causes her to fall down.

Tristan Hamm VS Rodney Petersen Jr.


Clearly, you can see the difference in boxing between these two, Not Logan Paul was an MMA fighter back then but his boxing was clearly for amateurs, Tristan Hamm needed just one punch to finish the fight, and clearly Not Logan Paul is the aggressor for this fight but it was not effective for him to be the aggressor in this fight, and from that 2nd knockdown he recovered late so the winner is Hamm.

Fox Townley VS Jonah Joseph Chris


I thought that the Filipino would win this he had the footwork and the style but seeing the two fighters inside the ring you can clearly see the advantage of Fox, he has the reach, and the height, and surely his boxing is also there and so you can see both have training but because of that reach advantage that punch was getting into Jonah Joseph Chris so he got dominated in this fight.

Rolly's last fight was on  May 13, 2023, so he hasn't fought for almost a year already but this guy is a champion although not as popular as Ryan Garcia. I think he would be a good match for Ryan Garcia but so if it's a championship fight there's a chance Ryan will become a champion, so why not get him instead of pursuing Isaac Cruz which is not a champion.

I don't know if Ryan is looking for an easy opponent here but Isaac Cruz I think is better than Rolly as Isaac Cruz almost beat Tank Davis in a controversial fight.

For not having accomplished much in the sport besides winning secondary titles and losing to Tank Davis these guys sure act like huge divas. It's an interesting fight but it ain't that interesting. This should have been an easy fight to make. We know who the A-side is and both guys say they want to fight each other. The bickering on social media is getting tiresome.

Romero isn't some superstar and has been inactive a long time. He is reaching the point where people are fed up with him and any interest in seeing his fights is almost completely gone. Ryan might be able to milk his popularity a while longer but he needs to start fighting big names inside the ring rather than on Twitter.

Lol, Rolly Romero mad at Ryan Garcia and Oscar Dela Hoya. He thought that they have negotiations with him and Ryan fighting next. But as he claim, Oscar is also negotiating for Ryan to fight Isaac "Pitbull" Cruz.

Ryan has responded to Romero, so it's going to be interesting as to who Ryan will fight next. But obviously, it's not as what we wanted like Teo Lopez or Devin Haney.

I don't think it was a very bad decision, to be honest. A controversial one for sure but not a bad one. He has been very dominating and maybe if we say that it is the boxer of the year and this year other fighters had better performances, that can definitely be argued. But to be honest I think the decision is probably not the best, but not bad at all.

I also agree that we all want to see our favourite fighter be the BOTY. but it is also true that most of the time our favourite fighters actually don't deserve that. That is the hard truth.
