Well, it seems that almost everyone was surprised by Teófimo's fight, I'm not surprised because I know that Teófimo had already won this fight in his training, for me all the fight in boxing is won in training, that's the trick, to perpetuate quickly does not work in boxing, it is very hard work, it conditions the body so that it can give the maximum for that day, sometimes a good intermission and good intense and that alone makes the difference, some have dropped their bets, they lost a lot, Because obviously they were going for Taylor, but in reality these things when they happen I really like, this is boxing.

You said it right preparation is key factor in winning a fight, with his trainings and hard conditioning of his body he manage to win the fight, though he surprises the fans but it was the outcome, the favor is in his side and there's no contest about it, he take the win fair and square, now he's enjoying another achievements in his career.

I like the way you pointed it out, the hard work in training gives him the outcome that he desires and yes, we are in this sport where
training and conditioning with proper balance of diet gives you decent opportunities to win a fight.

For the case of Casimero in which we have been discussing, the burden is on his side. If Inoue wins then most likely it will be Tapales for unification. And so with that, Casimero needs to make a move by fighting rank boxers. That's the only way that Inoue will be interested on him, if he still can proved himself at 122 lbs.

Regarding about John Riel Casimero's current situation, so far, he did a good job in having two successive fights with both wins on his side but it ain't enough because Naoya Inoue is fighting directly for a championship belt while Casimero is still fighting to have a decent rankings even though he was the one who advanced first in this weight class. He cannot do anything about it because he met an unfortunate issue in his last weight class which made him climb much earlier, that said, he should do one more fight this year to increase his chances next year.

He fought a Japanese in this first fight at bantamweight, not impressive and there are controversies. And then    Fillipus Nghitumbwa, yeah, he did knock him down, but the fight ended in the judges score card and it's a very close win for him, not the dominating fashion that we are expecting.

Although he moved up in rank, we can call that two fights are no-bearing as it seems just like a test for Casimero. Maybe just to remain active. The big test for him is to fight any on the top 5 rank fighter, have the fight in the US so that there will be hype.

Teofimo Lopez Defeated Josh Taylor

I was really shocked Teofimo Lopez has proven that his speed is really something for Josh Taylor to be afraid of, and not just his speed but his fighting IQ aswell, well I was really wrong, but can we surely know what will be the results when the 2 boxer clash, but surely I think Teofimo Lopez is now ready for a much higher ranking in this division, his fight IQ and speed have already improve so yeah even though I was wrong that Josh Taylor could have a slight chance, it was really a dominating fight for Teofimo Lopez,

I watched their fight and indeed Teofimo Lopez won by unanimous points over Josh Taylor.
I also saw that his punching speed and fighting IQ were very good, even Josh Taylor seemed very overwhelmed by Teofimo Lopez's punches.
But after all Teofimo Lopez is a very good boxer and now he has the title of WBO Junior Welterweight World Champion.
It is possible that Teofimo Lopez will soon be able to get a higher rank in this division.

He has proven to us that he is truly a champion. His loss to Kambosos was probably because he was already struggling to maintain the required weight. Now, he is in a division where he feels very confident, as evidenced by this significant win. Although Josh Taylor also landed some good shots on Lopez, it was Lopez's speed and power that made the difference. Let's expect that he will continue to have big fights, and I'm sure he will once again be a tough challenger if he moves up in weight class.

Teofimo Lopez really performs well and the strategy implemented by his camp is really effective.  Beside Lopez is hungry for the belt after losing from Kambosos, so probably Teofimo Lopez really trained hard for this fight in order to snatch the title.

I am really surprised at how Teofimo Lopez performed in this fight.  I thought it will be the same as the performance when he fights Sandor Martin but to my surprise, he really keeps Taylor in check and unable to take advantage of his height and reach.

Those fight is not enough in my opinion. First is a controversial decision, and then he had one fight in the Philippines but he didn't knockout his opponents. So I do agree, Casimero is fighting just to be in the best position to be a contender, but Naoya is fighting for the belt against Stephen Fulton.

I just saw a clip though of him fighting Duke Micah, it was a great fight for Casimero. Hopefully they can fight a fighter that is willing to go toe to toe with Casimero so that we can see his brandish style again. We missed that version of Casimero and so we wanted him to have a great fight that will end up in a knockout.

Inoue would only be interested if the fight is a mandatory fight. If he has other options, such as a unification fight, he would gladly accept that. So, although Casimero will work hard to improve his ranking, there is no assurance that he will have the opportunity to fight Inoue in the future.
Inoue is a very great boxer and not all fighters he can accept in a challenge fight considering he has also been world champion in three different classes and also several other titles.
I've been following Inoue's development and this boxer is amazing because to my knowledge no fighter has been able to beat him.

Casimero is actually a pretty great boxer with quite a lot of fighting experience but when compared to Inoue I am much more in favor of Inoue.
What you said is correct where Casimero will never stand a chance against Inoue.

That's true. There's no assurance to it.
Either Casimero will get a title or he will be on the Rank 1 of their weight and be the contender if ever Inoue wins the fight against Fulton. But I still doubt it will happen, the target will be unification so Tapales will be the apple of his eye if ever he will not lose his belts. Right now, Casimero can fight over and over again but there's little chance they will meet.
Another chance will be if Inoue unifies it all and he is mandated to defend it, that's if he will never go up another weight class. Casimero can keep on challenging him but it might never happen.

Maybe there's a chance they'll meet if Inoue loses to Fulton. In that case, both Casimero and Inoue would become challengers, and who knows, if Fulton decides not to move up, Casimero might have a chance to fight the champion again and claim the belt. In that scenario, he could then accommodate Inoue as his challenger. It may sound unusual, but I believe it's another possibility to consider.

Well, Casimero and Inoue would be a great fight, this is one of the things that excites me the most, because there is already a previous challenge here, if things are like that then they should happen, personally , I think that things in boxing are very simple , there must be rematches without the need for this looking for clauses, because the boxers themselves must always be in action and without so much begging, now I give a good positive sense to Spence who finally Accepted the fight with Crawford , and this is something that he is in favor of the sport and in favor of what things should really move in boxing , with the sense of Healthy rivalry and not Being with so much.

Since his quest to take the chance to fight Inoue, he hasn't lost and he fought very well in his last fight motivated to get the chance again in the future but it seems like the decision will be made after Inoue will successfully defeat his opponent in this upcoming fight and hope that it will be Casimero next because both fighters really need to prove their claim and to do that, the answer is just one fight and it won't really matter which place as long as they gonna make it happen right now before it's too late when one of them cannot fight anymore.

Sooner or later, as long as Inoue will not leave the weight class, I think fate will make Casimero and Inoue meet inside one same ring for a fight that has been waited by many and I'm sure that a lot of people will be thrilled if that will happen. If fate works well, I think Casimero will have his chance during one of the few title defense fight of Inoue, considering that he's already the new 2-belt champion in replacement of Stephen Fulton.

Yes, but still it's up to Casimero here, he has to do a better job at 122 lbs and not have issues or something like in the previous weight class. Inoue is fighting for the belt, while Casimero just had a so-so performance in his last 2 fights, or at least his opponent is not that recognizable. So there's a lot of work needed from his promoter so that they get a decent boxer for him to face next. They can't afford to pick a fighter not in the top 5 at least of any governing body as it will just look like Casimero is taking it easy in the super bantamweight and the chances of facing Inoue is going to be slim if that is the road that his handlers are going to take. Fight Luis Nery next and that will be a great match.

Inoue got his privilege to challenge the current champ as he jumps up after unifying the belts from his past division, while Casimero are starting from the scratch, something that really leaving him behind, more work on his side if he really aiming for Inoue, it's not an easy journey as in anyhow Inoue can change plan and not to let Casimero to have that chance in fighting him.

Fate will dictate if they will meet inside the ring. For now, it's more on speculation and no negotiations yet as both have different
ranks from this current division.

It seems that GBP and Ryan is going to be a disputed legal battle, Golden Boy Promotions Files Lawsuit Against Ryan Garcia, Lupe Valencia To Enforce Contract.

We know that this could be brewing for years now, but after Ryan lost to Tank Davis, it seems that his camp is putting the blame to everyone, even firing his training and now are looking to severe his ties with GBP and get out of his contract with Oscar.

Not siding on this one, I will just wait and wait will be the judges decision on this one. But for sure, if there are still fights in Ryan contract, he will have to finished it and then get out os GBP for sure.

We surely don't need to side with either of them but I really wish it will end up with just a talk and not filing a case against anyone, this would surely crack the core of the relationship that they have, and people will not look at both GBP and Ryan Garcia ever the same again after this incident for me all they need to do is just move on with their own life, for Ryan Garcia find a trainer that would likely say and talk about his problem with something, and likely I think Ryan Garcia can always be prepared with his upcoming fights,
I don't think GBP is the kind of production that wants to end up in court. This is just for their defense in case Valencia does something surprising.
But this is a big misunderstanding when it comes to Ryan Garcia and the GBP people. He is hurt, and if I remember correctly I posted it here about the drama he said that "no one is there" when he lost.
And I think a part of it is both Oscar De La Hoya and Bernard Hopkins didn't attend that post-fight press interview. According to the news.
I think both Garcia and GBP can fix this, but the attorney will have some issues.

You mean Teofimo Lopez?

Well, yes, there is a good chance that it was planned to add some hype between them and to even market the fight to have a lot of attention from the public. I mean, that is surely not new because we have already saw plethora of boxers and camps who have done the same thing, so it's not really that shocking anymore. But let's see because I have a feeling that Teo might have crossed the line when he tried to burn Josh Taylor thru some words, it might be interesting though because Taylor have already said some few words too after that.

If in fact things are like that, personally these kinds of rumors are sometimes very true, I remember the time I put an article where I said that Spence was finally going to accept the fight against Crawford, and most people thought it was fake , and even at one point I believed it, the only thing I don't like to publish things that are strange or much less fake , because they are from good sources, they are sources that are found in boxing information, in forums, in everything It has to do with sport , that's why I think that this is not bad and it is very Probable that it will Happen.

It's better to post it though and claim that it is a rumor, and it's very different from fake news in my opinion. And we all know that those fights are really going to happen in the future because of the money involved in boxing as this is a business now. So it might not be the exact date of the rumor, but still if there is smoke then obviously there is fire.

If the price is right, maybe he will take that risk for Benavidez. I have a strong feeling that they are just making that excuse to keep the engagement of the fans.

I would love to see this fight rather than Canelo fighting Bivol. Although Canelo does not accept that he can't beat Bivol, it is very obvious that he will not win. Against Benavidez, I think he has a chance because even though the latter is young, it is still not enough to defeat Canelo in a division where he is very comfortable. It would be a great victory for Canelo, especially considering that Benavidez is currently undefeated.

Both fighters are really great in this division and if ever that Canelo will take Benavidez then he will be tested if he's still the best from his comfort zone, knowing that the challenger is also undisputed and he was being challenged inside the same weight division where both of them shows their greatness. Looking forward to hear updates if which way Canelo will go and who's going to be his next opponent.

I don't know what is up with Ryan Garcia these past few months because he is totally destroying his career just to save his ego because he literally thinks that he is able to fight and defeat almost everyone in the same division just because he got talents but in reality, it's not GBP's fault nor his trainer's fault because Ryan Garcia himself is the one who is destroying everything he wanted. Even Reynoso confirmed Goossen's story that the kid is just too hard to train because he just wanted to train whenever he likes and just wanted to sit on social media all day instead of focusing on his trainings and preparations.

Hopefully he can learn a thing or two with this dispute because I'm kind of sure that GBP will not leave him without having any settlement as it was stated in the article that Garcia's camp is complaining a lot which is now GBP returning the favor with a lawsuit. Well, let's see what will happen in the next few weeks.

Casimero is a WBO Global super bantamweight title holder now, I think he can force a mandatory fight with Inoue when Inoue successfully defeats Fulton. I'm not so sure about this but its possible. If no one else is just willing to fight Inoue why not Casimero.

It is possible but I think the no.1 contender has more chance for the mandatory title defense unless the boxing council will give authority for the champion to pick his opponent.

To Inoue however Casimero is a nobody. I guess its one reason he wouldn't respond to a call after all they couldn't just decide on their own.

As far as I know in their bantamweight day, they had an unfulfilled schedule fight.  It was canceled due to pandemic and was never been rescheduled again.  I also don't think that Inoue looks at Casimer as nobody because Casimero had proven himself by holding the WBO belt before it was stripped from him.  The belt was stripped not won by Butler against him.  It (belt strip) maybe cost by carelessness of Casimero but we cannot deny the fact that Casimero was a WBO bantamweight champion while Inoue is holding the other belt.

We all know that Inoue is a very gentleman boxer , he doesn't mess with anyone and he doesn't look for any type of problem either , I think that maybe for that reason they Respect him, as far as I'm concerned I see Inoue as a genius boxer, where he knows how to use every detail of his technique to apply it to a particular boxer knowing that his study is quite strong , then this is reflected in his victories, now, if Casimero considers that he thinks of him that way , well , I think not He has been very good at it , if he must have a Little desire to fight with him , but due to his track record he knows that he cannot be Trusted.

There really has to be done for fights to happen because its just not fun anymore to see top boxers ducks each other. They better make things happen or its the fans losing their respect to the boxers they look up.

Ryan Garcia and Tank Davis set an example already for them already. So if Casimero comes looking for fight pointing Inoue, a yes or no answer at least will shed the light and giving the organisations to decide.
