Now that the events for Teofimo Lopez VS Josh Taylor were settled I think it is time to move forward here is consider not that big of a fight but for Filipino boxing fans there is a Filipino in this line-up and his name was Jhunrille Castino that will be clashing against Vegas Larfield, and the Main Event was between Tim Tszyu versus Carlos Ocampo,

This is really the type of fights that I like to differ from boxing, because they both fought and gave everything they had, obviously Teófimo had a much more intense training than Taylor, and many were in favor of Talylor so these bets were very split. and it could be said that the crowd failed, personally when a boxer shows that his strength is training and worthy of winning the way he did, and he did not have to resort to a purely technical fight as some do, which for many already enters to a totally boring shot, instead here there were counterattacks, exchange of blows, a whole real fight, good for Teofimo.

Teofimo Lopez had a good performance in his fight against Josh Taylor, it was very visible that Josh Taylor was being pressured a lot, he was constantly defending himself, his fists were always in a defensive position while Teofimo even allowed himself the luxury of leaving the his face all open so that he could give josh taylor the initiative to attack, i believe that josh taylor's fear of not signing his opponent may be because he soon realized that his opponent had a very large capacity for defensive reaction and counter attack that if Josh Taylor was going to attack and his punch didn't hit the opponent

so at that moment Josh Taylor could suffer a very strong counterattack punch and in the minutes that followed my observation became real when I saw Josh Taylor trying to attack Teofimo and Teofimo immediately hit Josh Taylor in the face with a hard punch who was unbalanced for a few seconds and the public cheered thinking that Josh Taylor was going to fall, but he immediately recovered, I think it was a fight in which Josh Taylor had no chances from the beginning of the fight until the end. congratulations to teofimo for the victory

Teofimo Lopez only has one defeat and that is just a small mistake because of all the fights he has done to get several titles.
I admit that his physical endurance is very strong and coupled with the power of his deadly punches so that he managed to win by KO 13 times.
Maintaining the weight will only make him depressed and it seems better for him to make the decision to move up to a higher class and become a new tough challenger.
There is nothing wrong for Teofimo Lopez to try his strength in a class that is above him.

Definitely, in his next fight, it might be another good pay day for him as he is the champion and there are a lot of competitions in the 140 lbs division. It's open now, Josh Taylor is no longer the dominant champion so there could be another set of unifications fights again.

Plus we have heard that Haney might go up in weight at 140 lbs, so obviously this is going to be exciting as we all know that they are supposed to face at 135 lbs. Well, it was very clear from what I have seen Teofimo Lopez was winning the fight I also thought that Lopez will get a knockout from Josh Taylor aswell but Taylor was tough enough to handle those assault

And the live score shows that Taylor has only gotten the 1st and 3rd rounds in his favor but Lopez have taken the 2nd round and the 4th round up to the 12th round it was a dominant fight by Lopez,


Like I have said it was total domination for Teofimo Lopez, that speed is what I see from him burying every punch and then evading the counter, while Josh Tayler is forwarding to Lopez but didn't do a thing while inside or he got some shots but eventually stop connecting or following up, those hesitations have also cost Taylor some good shots, I think Teofimo Lopez was too quick for Taylor that he stopped to his tracks when fighting Lopez,


Just like you, I was just watching the replay because like you I was watching the MMA fight aswell, man it was total domination seeing the live scorecard Lopez got 10 rounds while Taylor only got 2 resulting in 110 for Tayler and 118 for Lopez, on the love scorecard while the judges scored the fight by 115-113, 115-113, 117-111. in favor of Teofimo Lopez, and some have said it was a disgraceful scorecard for giving a close score, but surely a win is a win,

this is the reason why we can't be so assured with our bets as we don't know exactly what will happen inside the ring. taylor was the favourite on this match and look at the results. definitely, lopez prepared good for this fight and surprised a lot of boxing fans about his moves.
lopez will surely have a good purse share come his next fight. for me, he is still young and he still has a lot to offer in the boxing ring. no name yet for their next opponent but for sure it will be bigger name.

I have seen some relevant news with him , it caught my attention because they said something about the Hulk, I thought they were just silly things , but no, it turns out that the Hulk Irani was true , and yes, he is very good, but regarding world boxing the Things are not so easy for boxers of this style to give importance to , if they don't make Money at once they are not important, therefore whatever they do they have to attract attention to the greats , the Greats are those who have the enough money to take them to the top.

Teofimo Lopez really performs well and the strategy implemented by his camp is really effective.  Beside Lopez is hungry for the belt after losing from Kambosos, so probably Teofimo Lopez really trained hard for this fight in order to snatch the title.

I am really surprised at how Teofimo Lopez performed in this fight.  I thought it will be the same as the performance when he fights Sandor Martin but to my surprise, he really keeps Taylor in check and unable to take advantage of his height and reach.

His win against the former undisputed, Josh Taylor, did really erased all the controversies that he's been through mainly in his last fight versus Sandor Martin which he eventually got the WBO International because people including me thought that he didn't deserve to win the fight. But in this fight, he proved to the world that he's not that bad and can be underestimated with because not everyone has the talent to defeat Josh Taylor as Teo is the first one to give the former his first loss.

He has proven to us that he is truly a champion. His loss to Kambosos was probably because he was already struggling to maintain the required weight. Now, he is in a division where he feels very confident, as evidenced by this significant win. Although Josh Taylor also landed some good shots on Lopez, it was Lopez's speed and power that made the difference. Let's expect that he will continue to have big fights, and I'm sure he will once again be a tough challenger if he moves up in weight class.

Man, I missed the boxing fights because I was watching the MMA fight of Amanda Nunes versus Irene Aldana, it didn't cross my mind that a boxing game was happening on the other channel. This is the hard part when every fight occurs on the same day and at almost the same time.

Anyway, that's some shocking news. I thought Josh Taylor will be the one dominating their fight and he even said he will knock the hell out of Lopez but it ended up in a unanimous decision in favor of Teofimo Lopez.
I am just reading the results now while waiting for the replay to be uploaded.  That's big news considering Lopez was the underdog here and it was said in reports that he moved so quickly in different angles that gave Josh Taylor the hard time to sneak his big punches. It actually came out the other way around, Lopez sneaked his big punches after moving in different angles. Nice.
Maybe he pledged to be a better boxer after doubting himself even though he won his fight against Sandor Martin. I cannot wait to watch it later because there's so much hype about how he dominated Taylor.

I watched their fight and indeed Teofimo Lopez won by unanimous points over Josh Taylor.
I also saw that his punching speed and fighting IQ were very good, even Josh Taylor seemed very overwhelmed by Teofimo Lopez's punches.
But after all Teofimo Lopez is a very good boxer and now he has the title of WBO Junior Welterweight World Champion.
It is possible that Teofimo Lopez will soon be able to get a higher rank in this division.

^ It's not just the speed of Lopez, but he beat Taylor on his own game, countering and being the first one to throw power punches. He has rocked Taylor in the 12th round and I thought that Lopez will go for the knockout win.

Although again, I might see the scoring of the judges as somewhat dubious, it was a like 9-3 rounds for me, as Lopez almost clearly won all the rounds for me. But two judges saw it very close though, 115-113 for Teo. Anyhow, it's already a win for him and this is his second weight class to be a champion.

It is really a good thing that they have given a chance to Casimero, and I really wish he would stop his antics in doing something illegal in the future of his fights, and because I really want to see a Naoya Inoue VS John Riel Casimero fight in the future that is why I really think if this continues and he keeps on climbing up the ladder we could really see it in no time,


I really think his privilege back then has already expired when the WBO strips him of the belt because of a Sauna cutting-weight incident that happens so his fight with Paul Butler was changed instead of Casimero Butler facing Jonas Sultan instead, well his fight with Naoya Inoue was halted because of Covid -19, well WBO has given him many opportunities, that he likely made mistake and the only answer is climbing up again and gaining a belt to someone, that Inoue would likely be a potential target,

Teofimo Lopez Defeated Josh Taylor

I was really shocked Teofimo Lopez has proven that his speed is really something for Josh Taylor to be afraid of, and not just his speed but his fighting IQ aswell, well I was really wrong, but can we surely know what will be the results when the 2 boxer clash, but surely I think Teofimo Lopez is now ready for a much higher ranking in this division, his fight IQ and speed have already improve so yeah even though I was wrong that Josh Taylor could have a slight chance, it was really a dominating fight for Teofimo Lopez,

Casimero had been doing his best to create controversy between him and Inoue so that the officiating body will take notice but it seems his action is futile since it looks like it  did not create any sense of priority to the boxing authority.

Casimero can just make his way to the top rank in order to make the boxing official notice him as one of the worthy opponents of Naoya Inoue.  The moment Casimero was stripped of his title made the possibility of him facing Inoue slim.  Unless he made himself to the top rank, I do not think he will have the opportunity to face Inoue especially if Inoue won the fight against Fulton.

Yes, that opportunity to climb and challenge the current champ of 122lbs should be prioritized instead of letting his belt be unstripped and now after that incident, he moved up, he's trying to establish his name in this new division. Maybe if, by chance, and fans force the situation to let him and Inoue face each other, maybe if the price is right, promoters will negotiate and allow these two to share the same ring and prove who's better from one another.

Well, I really want to express my deepest sympathy towards the loss of another Filipino boxer, but this is just really an excuse, but well moving on I think I will look forward to John Riel Casimero's next fight than expecting the new coming to fill the gap of lack of championship belts on the country, but yeah the Japanese Boxer Kenji Fujita really won in this fight,


Well, I really want to believe that Josh Taylor has some edge against Teofimo Lopez, and with this upcoming match we can not say for sure if Teofimo Lopez could surely win this match, there is a certain gray area and Josh Taylor doesn't have any loss yet, we can say that Teofimo Lopez has a slight edge, but we can not take away from Josh Taylor that he has some great combination and he can surely box and this is not going to be an easy fight for Teo aswell, maybe an upset well we may never know,

Well, yes, there is a good chance that it was planned to add some hype between them and to even market the fight to have a lot of attention from the public. I mean, that is surely not new because we have already saw plethora of boxers and camps who have done the same thing, so it's not really that shocking anymore. But let's see because I have a feeling that Teo might have crossed the line when he tried to burn Josh Taylor thru some words, it might be interesting though because Taylor have already said some few words too after that.

Yes, of course these are things that can be seen in the technical aspect, what apsa is that sometimes what many are looking for is to have a lot of action in the fight, to show the strategists, the blows that are quite demonstrative, to be see their fatigue, that the strength of each one is noticed, sometimes that is what many fans are looking for, it is all clear that in boxing the technical part is a strategy that very few know how to handle to take it to that level, no It is anything, but it is valid , of course this is not to my taste, but I still respect all the thoughts of each one , Mayweather is for me the greatest technical strategist.


I don't know if Taylor does all these things to get more attention, he knows very well that saying these words turns everything on, in part I don't blame him, maybe it's a strategy to be able to perform better, maybe when he In the match between these two, things can be seen far from a knockout, of course I am not saying that they are lies, but here things in boxing have to give way to the show, in part many win by betting and the business is in the bets and these words are like adding fuel to the fire, so I see it as normal, as something of a natural rivalry between boxers.
