I agree, but that's how greatness is measured in boxing, in my opinion. You take and fight all comers, regardless of what others think of you. That's why we wanted him to fight Bivol for a rematch or the young and upcoming Mexican in David Benavidez.

But I guess his handlers doesn't want to damage him because they've seen that maybe Canelo is losing the power and some steps and that's why they chooses a lesser opponent, and we can say that he is not on the level of Canelo.

Yeah, GBP submitted a lawsuit last week against Ryan Garcia. I believe the contract remains valid although the usual way to end it is by just staying inactive unless there are still many years left in the contract which might not be the case here.

Ryan Garcia is over his head, his huge social media following made him believe that his brain and skills are at the top level of boxing which is actually far from the truth. He must've been hurting after Oscar and BHop ignored his post-fight press conference after losing to Tank. I honestly don't believe the excuses of Oscar and BHop not attending the press conference but I absolutely understand it since they do not want to be seen in public as losers to their rival PBC who dictated all the terms of the fight against their wills but dumb Ryan accepted it in exchange for the huge earning potential.

Talent-wise, Bivol is superior than Canelo for me. He has good defense that's hard to crack that even Canelo's lethal body shots won't have an effect to Bivol. A rematch at the Light heavy weight division would still yield the same result, a Canelo loss but if it is in the Super-middleweight division, there is a chance that Canelo would win but it would be very risky for him as he will defend all his belt on the guy that beats him already so i think it is unwise for them to fight Bivol for now at either LW or SMW division so best for them is to cherry pick once again hehe.

It's up to him if he can ignore what are the people is saying and ignore the money the fight could offer and bring to them, but as long as legacy is involved. He surely wanted to even out his score with Bivol, but as of this time, and as the time goes by, his chances are getting much lesser and lesser especially after what he have showed to the audience in his fight against Ryder where not everybody or majority was impressed by his performance.

Good point, Bivol was able to beat him in his own strategy, thinking that by reading what Bivol will throw him makes him
able to counter and overpower his opponent.

But it's the other way around. Bivol continues surprising him by throwing solid combinations and not to allow him to find that chance.

Now it's clear to me that what they are just after now is just the money because they probably know already that Canelo is not the same anymore, and perhaps he will have a hard time keeping up with boxers in the same league as him.

I forgot to check it yesterday as I was also busy with something else. Funny, I also posted here about that fight, and yet I am the one who missed it. Cheesy

So it was 4+ odds in the decision but most gamblers took the win with lesser but sure profits or a knockout which is a loss. I would've also taken that knockout bet if I was able to catch it especially if I don't see the win profitable enough like 1.20 - 1.30 only.

Split decision. Is it really that close? I mean, 2 judges think that Prograis dominated the fight while the other judge thinks it's a close one, and worst he thinks Zorrilla won scoring 113-114 for him. I also read in one article that it's an ugly fight so that makes me not want to watch the replay. Cheesy

Maybe it didn't happen because Zorrilla is only a replacement opponent for him. Usually it really break the training strategy or the plans of this fighter. Good thing is that there is no upset. Unlike Manny's last fight, it should be against Spence, but the late replacement boxer in Ugas point one master class against the legend and beat him.

Lucky for those who bet on Prograis to win by decision here. Although again, there is one judges who might be biased as he scored the fight to Zorilla by just a point, LOL. But the 2 are synchronised so no doubt that Prograis won this fight hands down.

And the odds is like 8:1, Zorrilla is a huge underdog in this fight. But I don't think anyone bother to look or bet on it though.

Post fight interview, he mentioned Teo Lopez (retired for now), and Ryan Garcia as the fighter he wants next, he said no to Rolly, Lol. Perhaps it was a bad stylistic match up for him.

In any case a win is a win and this is his first time to defend his belt.
