GOOD LUCK PACMAN AND  THANKS FOR EVERYTHING Cry

We will never see the same fighter again, Casimero and other young Filipino talents do not have the skills and talent Pacquiao has, so Pacquiao will remain as the greatest boxer in the Philippines and probably in the whole world. The pressure in Politics I think made him retire because he said he will have a rematch with Ugas but still, he would not win since he would lack training since he is running for the Presidency.

I also don't think that Inoue could follow the footstep of Manny Pacquiao, I think he has to prove to us first by beating Casimero and then going up in weight. Though he is really strong right now, but he hasn't fought champions yet like Pacquiao fought when he was still young.
We cant tell yet until its proven and you are right and now that Pacquiao had retired and focused more on his political career then for sure there would be some boxers that would really be following on his path.

We can able to tell it on future years to come where we can really notice on who are the ones that is most likely to be the same in terms of taking glory on this boxing career.

Casimero is also a good candidate too but it do still need lots of things to be proven out first.

A bit offtopic on the thread but just want to say here that Pacquiao confirms of retiring in boxing world as he ready himself on the PH coming election.

His message from his facebook page.

Now who will be the next legend on PH boxers? Maybe we can expect from MP promotions same like casimero Smiley
His last fight against ugas turned out to be the last fight we can see from pacman, even though he lost that fight but he managed to show that age is not a barrier for him to box, as a person from asia, i always respect pacman as a hero and a boxing legend and I  think  not only philipine are proud of him but the entire Southeast Asian continent will continue to love him.

A legend has already retired and is one of the best fighters in the world due to his new political career. I wish him all the best with his new chosen path and it's very timely that he has said this.

Because with his new career path, he really has only to choose one of them and it's very likely that it's his boxing career that should be given up. He has reached a lot through his boxing career and had too much success on it.

Casimero is likely going to be the flag bearer and even there's no one that can be par with him, maybe he's going to be the successor.
During his career in the world of boxing, pacman has managed to have a pretty good career and he managed to record 62 wins (39 KOs), 8 losses and 2 draws and so far he has also won belts in eight classes, in my opinion in the near future maybe it will be very difficult for us to find someone like pacman. but of course the laws of nature will prevail and when one disappears, there will surely be another to replace it and one after another will change.

I don't believe that Casimero would be the successor and basing up on what had Pacquiao done in the past then he is much more supportive to Inoue.

Well as a fellow countrymen then I wouldn't really blame out people to have this view.

Casimero is so brandish, arrogant and doesn't have the magnet that Manny has when he was in his prime. In any case, I'm rooting for Casimero to win and then challenge Inoue next year.
being a PH boxing legend doesn't have to be exactly like Manny Pacquiao or remotely like him. Casimero only has to prove himself in the ring and in the world that he is a deserving boxer. look at Mayweather, whether we like it or not he is a boxing legend too, yet his attitude has nothing in common with Pacquiao.
Being a boxing legend you must have something recorded that others does not performed and for me it is very unlikely to beat Manny's achievement on that part.
though Casimero can make his Own name and record like what Donaire and Mansueto Velasco reached in their careers.
I think that He has a lot of things to prove .

Didn't expect this one, I thought everyone including me is expecting a Donaire vs Casimero or Inoue vs Casimero since those two fighters have a beef with Casimero, and then the organization butts in and gets Butler to fight Casimero, this will only piss off the two because they expect one of them will fight Casimero.

Not a very good decision from the organization in my opinion. The fans have been eagerly waiting for a Casimero vs Inoue or Donaire fight but they match him up against Butler. I, for myself, have so longed for the Donaire vs Casimero fight because that would be such a high voltage match. Pretty disappointed in the matchmaking system. Hope they will match Casimero against Donaire or at least against Inoue.

I think we will see that in the very near future once both camps fulfill their obligatory defenses. But on the note of the published letter, I thought Casimero is already under MP Promotions but on the letter, it is TGB Promotions. Am just confused who is really handling his career now?

He is still under with MP promotions and I think this fight is under with three promotions since this was address to 3 management to make this fight happen.

See this article https://cebudailynews.inquirer.net/401926/wbo-orders-casimero-to-fight-uks-butler this is the explanation about Casimero and Butler fight.

If Casimero can take this fight for sure in future we can see those great fights to happen next year.
Knowing that there’s a 3 management taking this fight, it looks like there’s a big money here. Is there any final date for this match? We still have 3 months left before the end of 2021. Anyway, There’s a huge market already for Casimero and if he wins on this match, his popularity will increase as well so this is a good chance for Casimero to do his best.

Provably it is since they impose a mandatory fight so that Casimero could defend his belt so expect that this is dealing with a lot of money since both fighter including Casimero already earn huge reputation which can be converted to huge cash on every fight he made.

Also I wonder maybe there promoter want their fans to feel more excited on upcoming fight of Inoue and Casimero that's why they seal up this fight first before the most awaiting fight between them to happen.

Well this is an obvious Popularization again > Manny is creating something that will let people talk about Him and the timing is almost Perfect .

he declared this right almost a week before Filing a Candidacy?  this sounds advance campaign material in His team as He did not succeed winning His last fight as a original plan of His presidential campaign in Philippines .
Exactly, I didn't mention it because it's far too off topic and political but yes it's planned, he did the right timing so people talks about him, hopefully the people of my country wouldn't take this stunt as a reason to vote for Pacquiao because we've heard the promises and I know it's just a false promise.

So its official, no Casimero vs. Inoue for this year because WBO ordered Casimero to fight Butler. Well its not bad at all, atleast we can still see Casimero to fight other opponent and he might trash talk him again.

I bet his retirement is not official unless he win and become the president. But until its not happening there's still a chance that his retirement announcement can still change depending on what will happen in his political career.

It's already is, both Casimero and Donaire has been ordered to fight their mandatory already. So we will have to wait for Casimero vs Inoue or Inoue vs Donaire.

He is already out of his prime, so that's a good call for Manny to hang up for good. No need to get himself hurt when facing a boxer like Error Spence. Ugas already soften and damage him, imagine a good boxer and taller Spence can do to Manny.

That's really funny, I mean he did declare that he will be retiring back when he was defeated by Marquez but that didn't happen and here we are again. I don't get this fool, why take back the word in retirement, even though he was defeated at that time, he's still have a big legacy left behind.

You can't compare the lost of his to Marquez and then declaring that he is retiring. This time, the main reason is that he is running for the Presidency of his country.

So if ever he wins, then it will be a big responsibility and I don't that he can run a country and being a boxer as well.

Nevertheless we will have to see, if he lost, he is still a Senator if I'm not mistaken.

So whoever will be the next Manny Pacquiao from the Philippines, it will be very difficult what he has accomplished.

He should have done this before the Fight  to be His last ever box and not in this almost perfect timing.

Casimero is dangerous because he has a very strong left hand blow.

He had an injury to his right arm.  Therefore, he actively trained his left hand strike.  However, he is not left-handed.  However, having recovered from the injury, he now hits equally well with his right and left hand.

This makes him a very difficult opponent for any boxer.  It is always inconvenient to fight a left-handed person.  An unexpected blow with the left hand can be a decisive argument in a fight.  The upcoming fight promises to be very interesting.

I look forward to a very entertaining fight.

Agree with the attitude of him but being a legend doesn't have to with that, lots of boxing legend who are arrogant or have an attitude. In any way, casimero is way too far for MP achievements yet. Unlike MP who become world champion at his early age and lowerweight class and step by step closer till he stops at the welterweight division as his 8th world title.

Yeah, it could be that after he loss the election he may be back to the boxing ring again to make money, Lol. In any case thanks to Manny for his memories, damn I still remember when me and my friends watch Manny's fight 10++ years ago, fond memories.

As for who is going to carry the torch, Philippines is already in the map and for sure there will be a lot of young boxers dreaming of becoming the next Manny Pacquiao so there could be many in the line, current and new Filipino boxers, like Casimero.

I doubt that anyone from PH boxing can carry the void that Manny has left. Pacquiao is rare, probably one in 50 years to come along the boxing world, become 8 division champion and was well loved, has the charisma and become pound4pound.

Casimero is so brandish, arrogant and doesn't have the magnet that Manny has when he was in his prime. In any case, I'm rooting for Casimero to win and then challenge Inoue next year.
