Attaching the tweet of Joe Gallagher, the trainer of Paul Butler asking anyone to confirm if it's going to be Casimero because IMO they are thinking that Casimero won't be able to do this fight because of the lawsuit filed against him. Though i have no official link or whatsoever but MP promotions president, Sean Gibbons is said to be doing his best to replacement Casimero with Jonas Sultan for this championship fight.

I just wondered, that "what if" WBA didn't allow Casimero to fight because of his lawsuit, is that a reason to strip the title from Casimero? Referring to last time, it's only the health issue that Casimero is facing that will act as a primary reason for having the WBA title stripped since it makes sense that why hold the title if he's not 100% healthy.

But since this is a lawsuit, even the fight will be canceled, should not be a reason for WBA to get the title to WBA. But it's now taking too long for a title defense and maybe taking back the title to Casimero is possible.

What do you think, guys?

Donaire is about to have a second match with Inoue, so it seems he is being left behind.
Casimero needs this fight to move forward. So he should not give any more reason not to have this fight.
But if it is the lawsuit that will hinder him. I don't know where will he go from here.
This will be sad future for him because lawsuit in his country is not very fast in resolving things.

It's just about barely a few days to go and since no news regarding a change of event, the fight might be happened for good at maybe 85% to 90%. The replacement can't just happen quickly unless the possible replacement also has an incoming fight or part of the undercard on the close weight class like what happened when Ugas replace Spence to face Pacquiao.

Regardless of anything, we should just stick to the idea that this fight will happen unless there's an official announcement made that it will be canceled. Goodbye to Casimero if that's happened as he failed again to show up and he is the reason for the canceled fight.

agree with what you said, when things like this are exaggerated and it's not clear where the source is from then this will be a little unethical in my opinion because this could be right or it could be wrong because there really isn't anything official that can be used as a reference there because of this just hearsay and impressed like some people's speculation.
Butler isn't going anywhere because his place could be right here because it's more worth it than looking for a new opponent.

Indeed, it's Butler that will benefit the most from this fight, especially if he wins the fight.

Casimero is the defending champ and his name already has a good value from this division, if Butler will beat him the chance
of having more great fights will be open for butler.

More fights mean more money on the table, not sure if that rumors have the basis, if Butler is looking for another opponent

That was an old article already, ok not that old but over a month. There's no other news after that. Seems the case was not progressing until the end of Casimero's fight. There's a hearing on that and the attorney's presence is not enough as Casimero needs to attend it.

Maybe they are just waiting for Casimero's return here in the Philippines before proceeding with the case.

Casimero has its legal team for sure and they are working on that case. They won't allow distraction for Casimero now that his fight is nearing.
