Unfortunately this is a very old topic and yet nothing ever changes, promoters are in it for the money and not to give fans what they want and if that means they need to have both of their fighters avoid each other so be it, even if technically a fight among them will be easy to organize due to having the same promoter, but that is not what the promoter want, they want to extract as much money as possible from their fighters and that means delaying the big fight for as long as they can.

Its natural for promoter to go after the money since in the end of the day this is still a business and they want to wide spread hype so that they can possibly maximize their profit so its up to the fighter on how they perform since if they can able to win their match for sure they can take home a bigger prize than what they get on their previous match. For sure next assignment of Casimero will be Inoue if he could take this win.

And I understand that and it is completely natural as boxing is a business and the business side is important, however when the only thing that matters is the business side and not the fans that is when it bothers me as years can pass by before we see the fight that we want, and by the time it happens the fighters are not as good as they used to be or the fans just got bored with the situation and they are not interested in the fight anymore, after all there are many forms of entertainment and watching a boxing fight is only one of them.

Based on ranking, Inoue is the best, but if he is really strong and he likes to proved it to the fans, then he should accept the challenge and be an undisputed champion by beating Casimero and Donaire.

I know that, but it's always better to be optimistic that he will win as a way of supporting him, I like to see him fighting against Inoue, so he needs to win and I'm sure he has the skills to knockout his opponent since I believe that Butler is not on his level right now.

Thats true. Its not an easy journey for these boxers to reach the popularity that they have been dreaming of. Even Pacquiao have gone through this with a humble beginning. But look at him now he became a boxing champ and his popularity also open for other opportunities outside sports (if you know what I mean). It's probably because of his opponent's name, I'm pretty sure majority of us here haven't heard of Butler before. So it make sense that this fight will not gain the needed audience except us Filipinos and some fans of Casimero and Butler.

I'm just thinking though, this past few days there was another upset in boxing again with Kid Galahad of UK was knockout by a 35 year old Kiko Martinez and Galahad's belt.

Hopefully this will not happen to Casimero though.

he is actually a good boxer but the public knows too much about pacquiao who is considered a boxing legend there so any other talented boxer will be under pacquiao's shadow.
on the other hand I have never doubted the greatness of boxers in the Philippines today because they are very strong, and Inoue could be said to be commensurate with him and it would be quite exciting if they met.

This is probably the scenario.

If both Donaire and Casimero will win against on their respective challengers, then one of the could fight Inoue, if one of them lose, at least there's still one left that could fight Inoue, in that way, both fights would give good money to their promoters since Inoue is popular and he will attract the fans to watch the fight.

If this is the case then it will for surely less likely to happen that Donaire vs. Casimero rematch will going to happen which in some boxing fans that are looking forward for this rematch will be a disappointment however, I guess either which one of them will going to fight Inoue will probably going to give an exciting fight that every boxing fans would watch for. The big fight for two Filipino boxers are fast approaching and knowing that it will going to happen in the same ring, same date and night but with different time I am curious which fight will be the main event though?
