That's probably what will happen, they just have to pick the best between the two since they are in the same division, and the winner will fight Inoue, I think that's a good deal. I'm just curious, how in the earth it's possible that Donaire help Casimero to sign with the same promoter he recently signed with, I mean, what's the intention?

Per report, it's just helping fellow Filipino who are having problems this time. That is what Rachel said and all of the misunderstandings that they have is now all under the bridge  Smiley. We might saw them fight in the card this December 11, this is what Nonito disclosed.

I don't think there are an ill motives in recommending Casimero to Richard Schaeffer except if Rachel wants to be the former's manager like how he handles his husband now.

For me, signing with Probellum is a big help and might boost Casimero's career and Richard might be the one to deliver the Inoue fight to Casimero as we all know that father time is catching up with Donaire.

The guy is not getting the fight and the money that he deserves, after he knocks out Tete, he defended his title to low-rank boxers the guy is daring top boxers to fight him, but these promoters are not giving him this kind of fight, Casimero will win this fight against Butler but after this fight, it's up to his managers to get him a good fight that he deserves, it's not on Casimero anymore it's on the team that handles him now.

The good news for Casimero now is that his team has signed a contract with Probellum and maybe this promotional company will take care of Quadro Alas' career from here on. Guess who helped him sign with Probellum, it's the Donaires, especially Rachel who just a few months ago were having social media spat with Casimero and now they are the ones helping him.

Jason Casimero, brother and boxing coach of John Riel, disclosed they have signed a contract with Probellum.

So what would happen in the future?

Since Donaire and Casimero are under the same promoter, are we still gonna have a chance to see them fight again, or it will not happen anymore?

If this new promoter would also help the two to have a big fight especially on Inoue's fight, then I guess it's a good move for him.

It will make the fight  easier to made if they are going to be in the same promotion.

Of course, it's under Schaeffer, who have shape Golden Boy promotions, so Richard knows the ins and outs and how to make money for this boxer. So for sure, Inoue will be the biggest target. And as far as I can remember, he has a good relationship with Top Rank's Bob Arum. So the fight could be made in the future assuming that Casimero will win against Butler.

Maybe the division is also not that deep as well, we have the regular champions and then mandatory which is usually no name fighters. He defended the belt against Duke Micah, I never heard of that fighter before, and then now forcing by the organisation to face the mandatory Butler.

So it's like he is box in one corner, but he needs to fight and survived and maybe he will get the attention he deserves and fight the other champion in the division - Inoue and Donaire.
That's why Casimero would want to have a big fight so he can get bigger money, his last big fight was only against Zolane Tete where he was the challenger, and now that he is already the champion, we have not anymore seen him fight big names or champions.

Exactly. Mandatory fights usually isn't worth fighting for the defending champion. I'm not underestimating Paul Butler here, but Tete dominated him in their last fight. Also, Casimero paycheck is way too low compared to other champions.
However, this could become challenging for Casimero again, If Butler decides to be more on a defensive stance rather than being aggressive, because he might get KO If he goes head to head against Casimero.

In the world of boxing their tactics did not work properly but casimiro and five other junior brazilian football talents did not get the king's affection. They will apply a strict selection system to appoint referees and judges for the upcoming World championships to protect them the news agency has received the report of the first phase of the investigation conducted by mclaren global sport solutions. Where stated the results of the boxing match have been rigged the judges or referees who did this had the opportunity to go to rio.

This is boxing world and every boxers knew this when they climbs up from their rankings so casimero already understand this and also those noises happening about Them gearing against each other?
is also a strategy from the promoter and the organization to find which is the peoples choice for them to fight with and not because that is whom in the rankings.
Boxing world now is often manipulated and there are also news about this being rigged so what can we expect aside from they will be declared fighting this and those even if whom they wanted to?

There's a rumor that there is an internal conflict between Casimero and his management team, the MP Promotions. If only MPP did participate on the purse bid then somehow the money that will go to Casimero would likely be bigger than this. It's just awkward that there is only one promotional company (Probellum) that participated in that bid.

Though Casimero will get a 70% share of the pie i think that's too small for setting up for training camp, pay for hotels, and airfare as words had it that he will be on his own for this fight unless things with his boss will be iron out.
So that's the main reason why the bidding for this match isn't that much and he's fine doing it for the sake of others that he's helping and there's a little benefit for Casimero to fight this match?
What a noble man.

It's not that the money was too small, it was the written rule by the WBO.

The problem is that no other promotional companies bid for this fight, not even MP promotions. MP could have bid higher than $105,000 and secure it for Casimero. However, they didn't and that's probably there is rumour running around Casimero not happy with MP. But we are just waiting for the schedule, although Casimero will get 70% of the purse, it is still small as a regular champion, in my opinion.

You are right, 70% in this case is nothing for what the boxer really deserves, but it is all clear, it is well known that despite these numbers there are others behind the curtain, the established business model requires that can extract much more money from a fight prior to that of a boxer with a more famous one, it is known that managers will always seek to have the best of all promotions for fights, and if the WBO is supporting this movement we cannot rule out that it The conflicting interests are enormous, just to think that we are in a pandemic, at any moment if all these events are accentuated they will be suspended, then all the fights must be taken because it is safe money, I see it from this point of view.

Its a personal point of view if it was actually small but having 70% isnt half bad either but well its a personal choice and decisions had been made but i agree that its just really just too small.

Is there something we can do? There's not because they do always having the decision in the end its neither you would accept on the terms or would just simply skip out
and disagree.

For now lets just wait on what would happen next.

That 70% is not significant because we are talking of a very small amount here, it was only over $100k which was their price and it's a small fight for a championship fight. Maybe no problem for Butler as he is the challenger here and we want to take that belt but it could be an insult to Casimero because he had a bigger purse in his previous fights compared to what he is getting now.

Obviously, its not that significant numbers for Casimero because he is a world champion already.

But who knows how much he got from the last fight with Micah? maybe around that numbers too.

So it's fine by now, but if he ever hits the lottery on fighting Inoue or Donaire, that numbers will balloon. And this is small weight class, the big numbers is in the welterweight and heavyweight in boxing.

Jack of all trades 💯
While sometimes the boxing organizations can get in the way of big fights I do not think this is the case here, there were a lot of talks about Casimero vs Inoue but since there was nothing solid the WBO stepped in and forced Casimero to fight Butler, I am sure that if evidence could be shown by Casimero or Inoue that an agreement was close to happen the WBO would have withdrawn the order and would let boxing fans watch the fight we wanted.
Same here, if both camps have that contract, the organization would not go and ask for this mandatory fight. But there's none and since Casimero is still under them, this mandatory fight against Butler has been setup. More on money making to me and also another good drama to hype Casimiro's name.
If he does wins this fight, Arum may see good money with the fans who show an interest in this fight.
For now, there's nothing more but to wait till this fight happened and see who will win. Good luck to all anyway Wink

I don't know if they can show the proof of the contract or not, if they can, that would be good but if they are unable to do that, Casimero has to fight Butler because as he is under WBO he has to do what he is commanded to do. But I think the organization is aware of what the fans want, they surely know that we want a Casimero vs Inoue match, don't know why they are not hosting one.
You know how it works, agents like to hype up fights and they do so by creating a lot of noise on the media and then they have their fighter fight a bunch of people they know they can beat and then they point out to the great performance their fighter has been having and that is when they finally agree to a fight, I do not blame them since they are in the business to make money for themselves and for their fighters as well, but we know this plan can come crashing down if during one of those fights they lose it making all of that hype to disappear.
The organization would always have the end decision because no matter how high the hype is between possible fighters but still there are fights which are needed for them to be done after a certain fight is done.
It do sucks because if the hype is already on the roof and the excitement is there then thats the time they do make out some those kind of mandatory fights which do really kills off the hype.
It doesnt matter though as long it would really be set out in the future then thats whats important but it would really test out your patience. Tongue

The hype is just there since the discussion will be back again once the fighter who's been hyped win the fight on his mandatory fight, but things will be different once he lost since for sure his possible opponent will not bothered to reach him up since there's no reputation you can get defeating a loser fighter, we can't deny that this happen always especially Inoue is a high caliber fighter and for sure they will lose interest with Casimero if he lost in this fight.

I do hope that this rumour is not true. We all know how supportive MP specially on fighters like Casimero.

Yeah, as I have said before, even if he gets the lion share, still very small and there could be -30% of the paycheck or even higher. That's why I asked the question of whether he should accept the fight or not. Nevertheless he has everything to lose if he decided not to so he should go and keep on winning.

I follow his social media account  Grin to get updates from him directly bro and with that matter, he said on Facebook that he will not give up the belt and he will take this fight. The good thing is, it is campaigning time for the presidential election and I don't think Manny will turn his back on him as votes from the Casimero family will turn to waste if he does that lol.

Kidding aside, yeah Manny will help as long as Casimero is willing to sit down and throw his pride and ego aside. I'm in the process now on what really happen that causes this internal conflict.

I'm glad to hear that it came directly from his mouth that he is not going to give up the belt. After all, he really work hard for it, and eventually got it the hard way.

Sean Gibbons is Casimero's manager and probably everything Casimero might said will reach their boss Manny Pacquiao. And for sure, maybe it hurt his ego a bit seeing the amount of money he will get, but probably it has been explain to him by the team. Looking at the bigger picture, winning over Butler will give him Inoue, and that's where the money will flow on John Riel's pocket.

That's important, he has to look at the bigger picture as this fight is only a mandatory fight that he has to pass in order to continue that negotiation with Inoue's camp so we can finally see the fight. I'm sure Casimero has already pocketed a lot of money from his previous fight and I have never seen him demanded big money in this fight but as a boxer, we understand that they are looking for a big fight so they can secure their retirement when that happens.
