In my opinion, the 2018 year is the last year of bitcoin and the next would be better for ethereum or other altcoin, which would be more powerfull and usable than other.
I think that both ETH and Bitcoin should be kept in their portfolio. these coins will be very expensive in the long run
At the moment , everyone is losing their positions, both Ethereum and Bitcoin ...therefore, it is too early to say which of them is the best this year

Both coins brought investors losses. But ETH did more harm than Bitcoin. I think that Bitcoin is much more reliable and stable than ETH.

Looking far back as January when the OP was made, I guess little or one would have expected this reality in the crypto market, I mean who would have thought both Ethereum and Bitcoin would encounter a huge dip in price below 5 times and 2.5 times respectively, but so far I'd say Bitcoin still has been able to get a bit stabilized than Ethereum and It will be better than Ethereum as the year runs out.

Well with what have been happening in the market uptill now, I will say BTC is the best way to go know cos its less volatile now than ETH. Maybe after bear market hopefully thing will change.

Bitcoin will rule, there is no doubt . Maybe in a few years the situation will change . But this year is unlikely

I agree. I invest in both, because ETH is more affordable but has potential no lower than BTC. They both have potential to make us rich.

I very much like both coins, they are considered as the most advanced. Both coins are very important for market crypto, but they are absolutely different. ETH is a blockchain which is used almost in all ICO. BTC is a standard of crypto of the world which is absolutely legal in some countries.
ETC looks more attractive at the moment and it seems to me that it is the future of the crypt
bitcoin rules, ethereum still is too "young" to be a lead one in this wild crypto world, but of course ethereum rapidly rising to that status
