If you get some knowledge about cryptocurrencies, you would know that bitcoin and ethereum are no competitors, they are two different kind if cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is a currency who is just made to pay. It has a very high value and it will be always the most valuable cryptocurrency. Ethereum is a smart contract blockchain plattform, which you can use as a computer to develop projects on a blockchain who is available everyhwere. So if your smart, you invest in both of them.

In my opinion btc will always rule here in cryptocurrency because bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency and mother of all crypto. If price of bitcoin will down all of altcoin will suffer too.
But we can't deny the popularity of eth but eth can't beat bitcoin to be top 1 on cryto.

I am absolutely sure that BTC and many reliable altcoins have a great potential for gradually recovering their positions from next year. Now they have very attractive prices for promising investments. Therefore, I continue to invest part of the money in the purchase and hold of BTC and Ethereum.
I think Ethereum increases faster than Bitcoin in 2018 but Bitcoin to have same problems slow transactions and high fees. Ethereum will rule in 2018 because for last year it added in value more than Bitcoin
There might be a high probability for ethereum to go up high than bitcoin. But be extra careful because it might also do the opposite, while it could move fast it could also dump as fast as well which could mean that anytime you could either lose or gain. It is really a matter of analyzing the market so that you can be successful. If you only wanted to just hold and wouldn't care much about gaining maybe bitcoin is better because bitcoin is more stable than ethereum. And as to what coins will rule? I think it is always bitcoin that will stay always on top as what I have always seen since I have participated in cryptocurrency.
I think both of these assets have realized that they do not solve anything in the market All in the hands of the media and large coin holders.

Ethereum turned out be very underperforming cryptocurrency of the 2018 due to its slower development and continuous dumping by ICOs. On the other hand Bitcoin is very stable and one can be confident about BITCOIN that their money will be safe at the end of the day. IMO very soon maximum ICOs will start to collect funds in BTC only check recent ICO MOONX which collected $27,000,000 in BTC.

actually in 2018 i would choose another coins and projects as there are many new ones that deserve to be seen right now
Bitcoin has performed better in 2018 more than ethereum! Ethereum got many people rekt by it's constant dumping in price. The team at ethereum are not making things easier as thete are many disclaimers and negative vibes been sent to stakeholders!
The market in 2018 has not changed much and Bitcoin is still the leader and will remain in the coming years. I think that Ethereum will never be able to surpass Bitcoin.
In 2018, both assets will probably grow the same. Although Ether may be a little more. But in 2019 it is extremely difficult to make plans.

In terms of price and volume i will go to bitcoin ofcourse bat in terms of platform. I will vote for eth. Because it has actually good platform making the investors or buyers or holders more insure transaction because of smart contract that they are using. So it really make sense to the crypto and helpful also to the more platforms of others.
I like both of them for 2018. But my 60% money invested into etherium. Because it's price is very cheaper than Bitcoin and I expecting to get big profits in 2018.
Why choose between these coins when you can invest in both coins. This is a more reliable option.
You're right, I also believe that if you can invest in both of them to get a double benefit, why should you choose one of them. remember investing your money in only 1 coin will be very risky
For me, it's still Bitcoin. but it doesn't mean that ETH will be gone in the market. it will always stay in its place. second to Bitcoin. But these two currencies are good. they have their own advantages. and they are the very foundation of the crypto World.
I think that it will be best to just use both projects, since both projects today can be used as a place to invest, as today these projects are used in most cases. Therefore, I advise you to use these projects.
