How do I stake BTS?

You cannot stake, you can earn bitshares if you are "wittness" you should look for this, but it is rather for advanced user.
But bitshares is one of the best coins now and it is worth its worth or rather undervalued Wink
BitShares: Exchange AEX to enable bitCNY markets

Big news!
Yeah, I hope it wil be followed by another news,
BitAssets is great idea, I wish bittrex decide to fight against BTS but I hope other exchanges will seize the opportunity Wink

Now BTS is entering in my interesting phase where serious investors can benefit of the situation. Let's see how panicked and desperate sellers go far. Risk is in everything but buying at coming price worth, seeing the potential.

To the moon!
Always interesting to see http://www.blocktivity.info/ where both graphene based chains BitShares and Steem perform more ops compared to all the other chains.  Right now both ETH and BTC have many unconfirmed transactions...

Agreed. Bitshares is one of the most undervalued cryptos right now. The wallet software is excellent with the built in decentralized exchange. I think the liquidity is about to start pouring out of the centralized exchanges and into the decentralized exchange market.

I may be interested in hedging my position if BTC pumps to extraordinary levels again. I do not trust the centralized Tether currency to do this and was wondering if it is safer to hedge in BitUSD or BitCNY or something else? Is it as simple as buying BTS and then buying the currency on the decentralized exchange? Is there any counterparty risk when buying on these assets?

bitUSD is counterparty risk free, incorruptible and decentralized.

1 bitUSD is backed by at least 200% of its underlying collateral BTS. So for every bitUSD in existance, there is at least $2 worth of bitshares locked behind.

you can buy bitUSD in any liquid market on BitShares DEX USD_BTS or USD_OPEN.BTC for example.

I get into bitshares because of binance and i said wow. I made a profit thank you for the promo bitshares I still have a lot of it don't get me wrong. The contest in binance is so good for BTS hodlers. I wounder why BTS is underrated.. Sad is it the logo? I know it will rise someday.

As I have commented in the Binance coin topic, I suspect there happened market manipulations on the Binance BTS pairs.
Strangely enough, Bitshares wallets of Poloniex were offline at the moment Binance has launched Bitshares trading and it was trading at a 20-30% premium on Binance that day.

BTW, does OpenLedger.io accept debit/credit card deposits or bank transfers only?

New proposal needs votes to fund some high performance API nodes (and more) out of the DAO treasury for public use

Other blockchains don't offer anything to those running nodes.

That doesn't have to be the case in bitshares that has the DAO since 2014 and funds exactly this kind of global network improvements out of the treasury.

https://steemit.com/bitshares/@apasia.tech/bitshares-rough-guide-how-to-vote-for-the-2017-12-infrastructure-worker-proposal

http://www.bitshares.foundation/workers/2017-12-infrastructure

If this works, in future people can pitch running high performance nodes to support the network to the DAO and only best few will be voted in.

It seems that we have a new leader in terms of trading volume. Now it's a binance and Polonix was left far behind. Now they can't have a strong impact on the price of bitshares.

i was very skeptical however listening to the coast to coast interview was refreshing!!! Bitshares devs actually embrace satoshis' vision>.> i like bitshares now!! :-D BTS to the mooon<<<
