What do you mean by 'REV 2'? The first shipping units had 2 fans, I believe (one on top, one exposed on the bottom). BFL has been talking about introducing a heatpipe design but I'm not sure if those are shipping yet. I've also heard of some 'interim' design change, but I'm not aware of any details.

I know there is a lot of guesswork going into the resounding no. My order was confirmed the 8th of march and had been sent to manufacturing prior to wednesday march 21st. Of course sonny could have lied to me but I see no reason for him to lie directly about it. I asked when it would be sent to be manufactured. It appears that (I could be wrong but) The january ones that have thus far not shipped had been redesigned to avoid the hacked on heatsink and fan and that caused their delay. For what its worth they have 3 weeks left on my order and I see no reason it should not arrive in that time frame given it is already being manufactured. The unit will per sonny's assurance have the Rev. 3 heatsink. I am not in the know about everything but from what I have heard so far there seems to be 0 reason it would not be in the 6 weeks time frame providing there isn't a catastrophy.

reason for my concern on all this is i wont be where they are getting shipped (and i do not want them shipped where i will be) much after mid may
