I have not seen anyone say this and maybe its just me being stupid and I will accept that however whats to say that the android could be showing information from other units mining off grounds and having it just report on the tablet.

I can have my rig mining in the garage and have my tablet show I'm mining....

This was my first thought when I saw the video from the convention. If I had been there I would have asked if I could unplug the ASIC for a minute to see if it was really the one connected/hashing at the specified rate. Would be an easy test.

Would have been awesome if someone asked if he could bfgminer with it, since he is waiting for his own and wants everything ready. Any good company would have said: Here is your usb cable, you have 45 seconds.

Video's can be faked. Hell, CGMiner is an open-source code, they could have just compiled a custom version that shows "Something" mining at the spec'd speeds.

I have been reading and following the BFL saga all I can say is honestly can't even bother until they ship in mass.
Which in my view will be close to almost impossible with all the problems according to they're updates recently...

You all realize that except for some people winning the batch 1 and 2 Avalon lottery, ASIC prices have basically equalized on a per GH basis and are close to GPU prices per GH anyways so other then power consumption it's all the same. I think when you see BFL prices approach those same levels is when shipping will be on a mass scale. Nobody is going to sell you gear 20x less then what it's worth on open market. They doubled prices already so that's a promising step.
