Yes, I personally am holding some ETH and NEO. Investing in Altcoin has never been a bad idea. Because of lower investment costs, lower risk and, of course, lower margins. But I'm happy with that profit. I am considering buying some new altcoin in the near future.

I wouldn't shy away from Altcoins, but I'd advise to buy when altcoin are on the upswing.

Tron and Iota all increased its value and enough with the potential of these tokens.

I would avoid BTC, I would rather invest 200$ in ETH, some in NEO, ADA. Buy some EOS tokens too - but research EOS before you buy it and be careful with it.
EOS is only a hype project and I just know that, there are not much information and reason to buy this token instead of Bitcoin or Ethereum.

Indeed, and that's what I'm talking about last post that you need first to research because there are too many Altcoins today and it's difficult to choose the best coin from the other so be sure you spend time for research and you can refer Www.coinmarketcap.com to check every coins' price history graph and then you decide which coin is better than the other to avoid loss and investment risks.

I think all Altcoins are worth to invest and all you have to do is choose and research before hitting that buy button and start to invest whether you use it for day trading or short-term or long-term investments.
Investing in Altcoins will offer you more return than investing Bitcoin or Ethereum or any coins that are already expensive.

Altcoins are the growing points, though higher risk. With more than 1000 coins out there and new ones popping out everyday, the million dollars question is which one to buy. Try GVT and PLR and thank me later. 
There are a lot of coins but really good ones are hidden as usual. You just need to find this gem. I hold wings and gup as good alts that can grow hard in future. 
I wonder if there really is anyone still wanting to buy a altcoins in this bad market conditions. ... maybe a few coins can be expected with a small amount of experiment purposes but it is absurd to me to make big investments with high funds. to mention about the essence of the work, I certainly do not recommend getting any coins at the moment. except for ethereum.
Why not? Like in every sphere of our life, in crypto community there are several types of activities (which still have the same aim - make money) so you can take bigger risks and buy alts, or stay more secure and hold leading coins. It is up to you!
