This means that price is up for another dip which could take the BTC price below to $5200 levels. That would be the best time to invest in because I think that it will be the lowest support and BTC price is not expected to fall below it. Since, altcoins follow BTC price movement. A 10% dip in BTC can bring double a dip in altcoins. So, if you are awaiting for the opportunity to buy in more, wait for another dip cycle or you can start accumulating from now onward and keep buying with every dip to average out your portfolio.

The market is on red, so i guess it's the right time we buy altcoins as the amount of coins you get will be more and cheaper.

Well yes prices are down dramatically right now. Most alts seem to have completely retraced back where they were before December. But yes they can go significantly lower from here. BTC is at a critical level right now at 6k and it seems that it can break into 5k any time over the next few days. This of course would mean a full scale capitulation of the alt markets.
Best to buy in lots to try and get a better average and of course stick to the larger more established alts.

By the way, I thought that there was nowhere to fall, but now there is a breakthrough and a good fall, so there is a chance to go to the market with a pretty decent investment portfolio.
Good idea, now a good time to buy. Almost all coins is red, I suggest you to hold Ethereum, EOS and Tron. All these coins have the potential to be more valuable, at least until the end of this year
I think that now you can buy alternative coins only if you are completely sure that soon (in 1-2 days) the coin will become more expensive because of some important event. It's really dangerous to buy altcoins for a long-term holding now.
No one can give you an accurate answer as to whether it is worth buying coins or not. None of us can know exactly when it's the right time to buy coins. One thing I will say for sure, now it is much more profitable to purchase than in December 2017 
I completely agree with you, as the end of 2017 was marked only by the beginning of the next fall of the crypto-currency market. But perhaps today the market has not yet reached its bottom.

Today the price of many alternative coins is very low. I already bought a few coins from the TOP-20. I think that this will bring me a good profit soon.
The best option would be to split the amount into three parts to buy now at 1/3 if the market would fall further to buy the same part. And when the market goes up, buy the last part.

It really depends on what you think it is going to happen in the next months, there is going to be a huge sell off bitcoins in the next months and depending on what the whales do different things may happen, whales may try to buy the coins as soon as possible if they do that the price will remain unchanged, but if they do not and choose to wait then the price will go down again.

have second round, alt market currently hard to play with, but if you are aiming for long term success better to grab the opportunity
buy those alts which you that will bring good value after this heavy downfall market, look and find quality project that have good developing

Generally, the downward or upward movement of altcoins is dependent on the direction of movement of Bitcoin. So, I for one in recent times have decided to hold it in bitcoin and ethereum, but that is not to preclude altcoins all together but in a bearish market I definitely don't want to spread any how. Am more cautious at a time the market is also cautious. So, invest in Bitcoin and ethereum, but it still depends on you.
