Agree. Old projects should bring something new and fresh to attract the masses. Otherwise, they'll slowly fade away into oblivion. "De-Fi" and NFTs is what it's all about these days, so I don't think old coins will see the light at the end of the tunnel. Prices could further decline as money is poured into new projects with attractive features. I wouldn't worry about this as long as old coins remain alive and healthy.
It's a good thing old coins are still being actively traded across exchanges. This is probably because such coins have been tried-and-tested over the years. For long-term wealth preservation, investing in an old coin might be the smartest decision to make. But if you're deeply inclined in making profits within the short term, then new coins would be the way to go. I'm going to keep "hodling" PPC and XPM as they're rock-solid projects that will never get old. Just my opinion
