Hi,

I was on a long holiday and now have a question.
From the beginning for caishen I was mining. I have about 1800 coins on cai.hashing.at.

What are my options.
Is all the work now worth nothing. Of is there still a possibility to convert this?

I haven't put it on a wallet yet. Just at cai.hashing.at.

Hope all the mining work is still worth something.

....Hi, i dont mean to sound like a dick...but if you read the GIGANTIC RED writing in this thread, you will find out that if you had mined them before the 18th and you contact TheStuhlman , he might be able to sort it for you...otherwise that was an expensive holiday...  Roll Eyes

This is addressed to the people who are sending me info about CAI mined after the deadline. Please stop mining, and do not bother sending me this info. There is no possible way for me to exchange that ever, not even with my rigs working 24/7 on the multipool. I will make a list of people who lost CAI mined before the deadline and compensate them from my mining proceeds. However, do not make me spend hours checking your wallets if you know you mined the coins after the deadline, you only waste my time and make it harder for me to do this.

Again this is addressed to the people who think they can keep on mining CAI forever and exchange for CAIx, this will not happen. The transition is over with. However, anyone who sent me legit info I will add to my list, to help recover.

Like I said earlier....  They are coming out of the woodwork now all asking for handouts.

YOU DIDN'T PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR INVESTMENT AND YOU MISSED OUT.  BLAME YOURSELVES AND STOP ASKING STUHLMAN FOR CHARITY, THERE IS NO CAIX LEFT!

YOU SHOULD BE EMBARASSED AND ASHAMED TO COME IN HERE BEGGING FOR HANDOUTS NOW.

Who asked for a handout?  Nobody asked for charity; he was nice enough to offer to exchange the coins that we were led to believe would be available.  But this shouldn't have been necessary.  Their plan guaranteed that this would happen, and there should have been planned measures in place to cover the gap.

I am still waiting for someone to show me exactly what text was posted in the OP that specifically said that coins not exchanged by a certain time would be lost.  Stuhlman said that there was wording to that effect, but I don't remember seeing it and I suspect that the wording did not actually convey the message as clearly as he intended for it to.

I don't see anyone claiming that they knew nothing about the transition; I see people who, like myself, didn't read every post in the thread and were led to a misunderstanding about some important details.  This is why the official outlets of information (the OP and website) need to have unambiguous and complete information about such things.  Tweets and crypto articles and posts scattered through this thread are not sufficient by themselves.

As investors in this enterprise, I can't believe the general indifference to the mishandling of this situation.  Many of you act as if we should be glad that it wasn't a straight-up scam.  Is that really the standard that we should be measuring against?

I'm sorry, but I think you are softballing pushing on this issue.  There was more than adequate communication IMO on the conversion and what would happen with non-exchanged CAI.  This is an altcryptocurrency ffs, not btc.  As a miner or investor you have the burden of looking after your investment, not the devs.  I'm a noob when it comes to these things (UTC, CAI, and now CAIx) but even me, with a couple of 7970s and gtx780 for gaming was aware that I needed to exchange CAI for CAIx more than a week in advance. I swear, it seems some people feel that the devs should have pushed the notification on all web browsers...open chrome or firefox and a popup add notifies you that you need to exchange and to stop mining after a certain date.

There is no final block for end of mining on CAI, the final trade for CAIx will be when all the 1.6 Million CAIx are distributed.
We can only estimate the day to be tomorrow.

No sorry, CAIx is 100% PoS which means you can only mine it if you have CAIx in your wallet. No hardware mining after the 18th on CAI, all miners will have to mine at the multipool for CAIx if they want to use hardware. Then they can get paid in CAIx and mine on wallet as well, by leaving it open.

Yes after the 1.6 Million CAIx are exchanged CAI will become worthless. People will have till the 18th to exchange all the CAI they have. If CAIx goes on trade tomorrow, CAI on exchanges will go down but people will still be able to withdraw and exchange at Coinswap.

I'm popping in to show my appreciation for The Stul and he's team.
I had issue twice with CAI and CAIx wallets and they helped me promptly, also I had doubt and he replied me and explained things to me.
Looking forward to hear the news but I'm quite sure they are doing a great job.
I'm sorry for those who lost coins for not exchanging in time but well, even my dog knew the timeline was around the 18th!
