What kind PoS does this coin use, like PPC or black coin?

<3 big picture
Being the contrarian that I am, in the face of all the negative posting above, I'm actually buying CAI.

The drop in number of coins and PoS is significant.  Coupled with the allegedly-coming destruction of the premine, that makes for interesting times, and all in a good way.

Come on CAI team, prove the posters above wrong!

WTF everyone seems to be CAI bashing today. lol

It seems the UTC crowd lost interest in improving their coin and came here to give us advice. We thank them for their opinions. I still hold all respect to Michael for what he did and what he is trying to do for UTC. I will not delete their posts, this thread is not moderated and they are free to make any statements they like if it makes them feel better. The person who was bashing nitro pools unsuccessfully for personal interest, came here to bash our project as well. But like they say you only need to let the fool make his statement to win the case. We are moving to bigger and better places. I am not going to Hype CAIx, you all have brains and free will to make your own judgments.

There are 3 major issues with this coin.

1.  The developers have been unpredictable.
2.  The developers have historically missed their own deadlines (deadlines they set themselves).
3.  Major changes have occurred with no notice.
4.  This appears to be a Crowd Sourcing effort to create a software company to make video games that will only profit the developers and uses the miners and our efforts.

Oh, did I say 3 I meant 4, or WAIT!

5.  The developers don't like to be criticized and they call anyone who questions them "Trolls".

You dumped CAI at a loss and I promised you will eat your words. Now all what you stated is fud.
1- developers unpredictable : You predicted a scam and dumped at a loss early, and now you have a grudge because we proved you wrong.
2- Historically missed the deadlines: This coin is only weeks old, what deadlines?
3- Major Changes without notice: Major changes have not occurred yet, there is a notice on the announcement, on Twitter, and on facebook.
4- Crowdsourcing: How do you translate us spending over 16 BTC on a game from our own money crowdsourcing?

Obviously you missed the every point you made. I only see one issue here, you missed your reading classes or maybe I should say glasses.
Your early attempt at jeopardizing our project failed, and now you want to make fud, has it ever worked for you?

Well it certainly is never fun to be called a troll. I wrote, after thinking about writing for a long time, because I feel like the rug was pulled out from under me as an investor. I don't understand why it was necessary to make all of these changes, and I no longer understand the purpose of the coin. Is that trolling? Am I trolling if I, as an investor, question the 180 degree change that has been made to what I invested in?

Stuhlman, I have always had tremendous respect for you. I had hoped that you would sell me on what you've changed. Shame you resorted to calling me a name instead. More power to your company if you pull this off. I may be the one down the road thinking I should have held onto my CAI or CAIx or whatever it is (I totally don't understand how one will be transitioned to the other).

If nothing else, please take away from my message what I'm hearing from many people - we don't get this. It doesn't make sense to us. We don't see where you are going with this coin. We don't understand what it means to us, as investors. Spend your energy on answering those questions and little nobodies like me will stop posting.

DCgirl I am sad you said had respect, but I will answer this as well. You have not stated a fact, but I will restate them for you.
With the success of CAI so far we have noticed that our premine has grown in value to over 300 BTC. This would have been a great thing
to any scammer dev, but not for me. I decided to destroy the premine, and remove any future doubts as to the purpose of CAI. We wanted to prove that with modest funds we can create a success. So when we discussed the best way to destroy a premine, we also wanted to add a an extra benefit to our investors at the same time by removing the miner dumping aspect that been plaguing UTC for example. SO a move to full PoS would enable us to implement many changes at once.
  • Destroy Premine
  • Remove Miner dumping
  • lower Max coin cap
  • secure our network 100% from ASICS/Multipools
  • Move CAI to the next stage by making it a community project

We have a lot of ideas and to have that accomplished we needed to remove the weight of a premine that has become of huge value from the CAI market cap. Some people will think why? because at one point in the near future that might raise questions as to our motives. So if we stayed where we are would you feel safer investing in CAI knowing I have access to 100's of Thousand that I can dump on the market or would you feel safer if I don't? The fact that some people question our decision to destroy premine makes me wonder as to the validity of the question. This should be a no brainer to see  how much CAI will benefit from this action that I am taking with the full knowledge that the premine I am destroying is worth more than 300 BTC. I am sorry If I offended you, but I hope you can see these facts and argue anything with me that makes you feel I am doing anything wrong. As far as these changes are concerned, I have met with some of our biggest investors in CAI and they were delighted with the steps we are taking. I did not do this out of personal interest as it is obvious from the facts it's the opposite.

I'm with dcgirl on this.  CAI has a history of broken promises. Deadlines not met. Plans that were changed -more times than one can count.  A game that would would boost CAI -which turns out it sponsors other altcoins as well now. And now more secret plans "to be released".  How about a little transparency.  And 300BTC premine that you could dump yadayada... go ahead and try it.  I'm not good at math, is it still 300BTC when you dump CAI to a value of .00000001?  You know that wasn't an option anymore once the word scam was mentioned.  You can't keep asking for trust when you continue abusing said trust.  I also have diminished respect.  Nothing too personal, I would like to trust in CAI(shen)(x), but simply can't at this point.  Fool me once...you know the rest.  Best of luck turning this around.

I was not an IPO investor, but I was a miner and have been in CAI since launch. I completely sold out my last coin when the market jumped to 80k satoshis. But, FWIW, I just bought up some CAI now... just in case of awesomeness.

Huh, that was heated discussion I didn't want to trigger. I just wanted to see some news, argumetation, CAIx specs info, even hype if you want... It's kind of hard to wait few days in crypto.
I think I'll stick with my 4k+ CAI/CAIx if nothing else than to see how this will develop and not to mention that 1.6 Mil PoS coins should make CAIx most wanted coin in near future. All that backed with games/aplicatons development bussines plan could/should make this huge. Also as miner, I think like on other PoS coins multipool with buying pressure is always an option.

I don't understand some things yet despite all the Dev responces.

1. How is premine going to be separated from all of our CAI coins?

2. What use is the CAI I have now if everything is going to be CAIx?

3. What use is CAI, if transactions can be done in fiat, CAIx, and other altcoins?
Tomorrow the full announcement regarding the changes with full numbers and dates will be available, also we will explain the full process of how your CAI will be moved to CAIx. When we explain the full concept it will be much clearer and easier to comprehend. Many people will be able to easily verify what we say.

OK PLEASE CLARIFY THIS FOR ME.

Is this Appgame going to be Cai Shen only for purchase?

If not I'm trying to figure out how a company can create a market cap out of crypto investment and then make their profits on fiat currency.

Please clarify immediately because I'm sure as hell if you can buy the game with fiat the crypto is utterly meaningless.

The game servers will soon start accepting payments for our ingame purchases in altcoins not just CAIx. The game itself is free. Inapp purchases will accept fiat in the game and soon in crypto currency on our server, where a buyer can convert into game coin. We are introducing the crypto aspect of the game in the final release. Now it will be released in open beta. The funding for the game development does not come from CAIx or CAI. We are funding the game, the revenue from the game whether it's from fiat or alts will be split 50/50 for costs, and to invest back into CAIx

The tournament mode will allow other coin developers whose coin is accepted by our server for payment to advertise the coin by offering purses in alts to weekly winners. This is a cross promotion that will help CAIx/Alts and game.

If regulations will allow crypto currency on app stores any time soon, our apps/games will be ready and quick to adopt to such change. Our working capital does not come from crypto. All CAI traded on the market at this time is CAI mined by miners.

So the current 300K market cap of the coin basically aims to encompass all the in-game purchases made on your free game, by persons who for some reason opt for the difficult and risky path of buying a volatile currency to use in the game as opposed to putting their fiat money straight onto it.
They have the option of extra effort and have however much money on the game, which the next day could be worth nothing or 100x the value to buy items in game, unless you are including a withdrawal system from the game? ....

Not liking this. Market cap is huge for what service this coin provides.

You are not used to this kind of speed, because you have been used to stale concepts and lagging activity on part of the devs. I understand your concerns too, but where is the facts that spur your concern? the fact that you trusted us when we had a premine, and lost your trust when we decided to destroy it?

I don't care about premine. I care about clear vision. I can't see CAI has it right now, it is just changing too quickly.

Anyway I stop posting for now, I don't want to hurt CAI.

I've been reading this thread from the start and invested in CAI. Daily I've read post after post talking about what a great investment this would be, to "just wait! we'll be announcing things that will change crypto!". I've read how this team will be more innovative than any other. Then I started reading about how every.single.original.feature of the coin will be changed. But "just wait! this will be even better!". That CAI is gone, but "just wait! now there's CAIx!". And miners and investors should not worry, because CAIx will be even better!

Was the original design of this coin flawed? Is this new design somehow better? What benefit does this coin bring to crypto? What advances does it bring? To me, the team seems to be just running through every money making scheme imaginable as quickly as possible (with none of those schemes benefiting investors). I would like to know one - just one - good reason to even support this circus anymore.

WoW I do have respect for you DCgirl for what you do for UTC, but to come and troll like this, is a surprise to me. Although I do not like to deal with trolling I will address your concerns. We have always said this team will be here to implement changes when needed. Most of our work is done outside the client however when we feel the need to do a change that will secure and improve on our client we won't wait months to do it. Is the Client we have now flawed? launch was smooth all the pools working from day one, miners are not complaining, investors are not complaining. The only ones complaining are those who did not believe us and missed our message. What we are doing to crypto is beyond what any other team has done. And will prove that. Money making schemes that do not benefit the investors? did you even click on the chart for CAI? did we use the premine to compete with miners on the Market? Actually with the change we are doing we are destroying hundreds of BTC worth of premine. That is the greatest money making scheme that anyone came up with. After the game release we would have proven our project was not all talk but action, we decided to destroy the premine because we do not need to walk away with bags of BTC like other devs. If you have a business background you will know if we continue to hold the premine and keep the current client we will be holding 100's of BTC correct? yet you feel offended because we are destroying that? if we are scammers like you portray us, why not keep current client and sell our premine and walk away? nothing was forcing us to do it correct? But again with all due respect, please negate these facts with facts and do not resort to trolling on this thread unless you can list your facts. This Crircus will teach people how greed should not be the leading factor in crypto world, and soon you will see this scammer Stuhlman destroy a premine just to prove it. Keep an eye on this closely and if investors do not benefit by what I am doing then maybe I should apologize to them for not dumping the premine on them, because things are really getting twisted here.

It is very sad that you are considering these serious dcgirl's concerns as trolling. I have exactly the same feelings. I was a big fan of CAI, because I saw your good work for UTC. I invested in IPO a little and bough some more after release. But now I'm confused with the speed the idea behind CAI is changing. Some concepts I saw during the existence of CAI: chinese-like coin, promo vids, PoW, then PoS, then game development, then CAIx. This is just not trustworthy for me. I sold during one of the pump and maybe I will ride some waves but I won't invest seriously until I see some stabilization and real results.

You are not used to this kind of speed, because you have been used to stale concepts and lagging activity on part of the devs. I understand your concerns too, but where is the facts that spur your concern? the fact that you trusted us when we had a premine, and lost your trust when we decided to destroy it?
