Did you all even understand what the "house" mean? it is a certainty that the house will always win. With that fact, it would be impossible for the casino would go bankrupt as long as they are players around.

What is important, in case the AI scenario happens, is whether the player itself would willing to stick around playing or not. Because that is where the casinos get the money, the players. In the end, it would be the battle of the AI algorithm coming into places, assuming the player tried to "rig" the game.

I believe if you write the input/question concisely into many current LLMs models, it would able to at least suggest a move. Nevertheless, it would not be effective. Regarding possibility, it is possible. See post above from mine.

I don't think if would be possible for such to be implemented in poker yet and there's no confirmed version of chatGPT for that currently but in the near future I think there would be a version of the chat GPTthat would make it possible but that could mean the end of online poker for beginners and those who would be interested in learning the game cause they'll gradually lose interest when they observe that it's becoming very difficult to play fairly due to the introduction of AI
 
 The thing is, the online poker is a business and they won't want to lose their customers due to unfair use of AI, losing customer daily means losing more money therefore they would want to maintain a fair gaming system and enhance their security to  detect people that would want to cheat using the AI technology, although srudy conducted by legal US poker sites has shown that a lot of online poker players are using it to win a hand which is considered cheating and many poker sites around the world are fighting hard to kick against that.

It is not about security, but the useful data an Artificial intelligence can gather in order to get profit, when comes to trading you have more useful information: the AI can check the total volume of the market, the number of whales keeping green and red walls, also can monitor the blockchain on live to seek for big movements, can check all the orders on the exchange at the same time; all of it would be impossible for a human being, but it is public information.

On the other hand, a casino offers no public information on their random number generation or they use a cryptographic algorithm which cannot be reversed easily.

AI is technology, not magic. So its potential centers on the the speed to process information, rather on the penetration of systems.

I agree with you on the fact that the casino system is far different from the exchange system and this is why it is not absolutely easy for AI penetration into gambling system just like the way it did in the exchange as you rightly said the duration of the longevity of the AI effectiveness in trading but then we must applaud it already recorded success and we hope to see some with gambling even though that will seem impossible to achieve because the casino has a high security compare to exchange.

And everything that gamblers do, with or without AI, will be known by the casino, and they will get punishment by blocking access to their gambling accounts. AI technology is still evolving, but the AI used in the gambling field may be different from that used in other fields. Casino owners and developers will always be on guard if gamblers want to use AI that is more sophisticated than the casino. But it still can't get profits continuously because the casino must take precautions.

The gambling industry will develop faster than now, and many new technologies will be launched. We may also see more advanced AI from now on. And what will happen to the casino business will be an interesting thing to wait for.

The casino will keep up with the developments in the gambling industry and know what to choose according to the casino so that it can be well integrated without any problems. But if the system needs updating because it could be compromised, the casino will definitely do it so that the system is safe and sound. Why do we think that casinos will allow this and let us say this is actually implemented somehow with the back doors then what do you think will happen to the casinos. The entire idea is hoax. It will never work.

The truth is that,  with what is happening in the trading sector where AI is having a successful ground and making profits on a rapid level where within a weak the record lose is one and all the remaining day in the week remains profits,  if this become successful in gambling and Chat GTP is being used in poker or any other game,  it then means that casino will be losing it for big time since AI is gaining ground.

But if casinos are able to tithen their security by enhancing the bot detection and abuse fights it may get lucky for them to fine out mechanism that could put the possibility of AI success into limitation and fighting to keep the market free from bots.

First thing first, ChatGPT is a chatbot that has the underlying system/algorithm of a large language model (LLM). So If we want truly explore the possibility of poker games with AI, this specific case is not the most optimal and suitable option. It is just built for different things, a conversational model and a competition model are surely unlike. And if we force to fine-tune ChatGPT or any other similar AI for the poker use case, I think it would not be effective.

Something that I found in AI research that specialises in the poker problem is DeepStack(https://www.deepstack.ai/), it is able to compete with heads-up poker, although not perfectly, I saw this tool able to beat human players. If anyone knows other newer similar research for this case, it would be great to share since this one was made in 2016 and is only for heads-up poker.

Whenever a new technology is trending, it is in the duty of every industry to try and implement the new technology. Every new technology has its advantage and disadvantages. So what we need to do is to see how to manage both the advantage and disadvantages in order to make the business successful. If a casino does not want to upgrade because it will be cheated with AI, there is nothing they will do to stop the adoption of AI. So it is better to still find a way to use the same eye to discover cheaters than avoid to upgrade.

You are wrong... it's not about instincts it's about following "the game and players, calculations". After all, we play poker with the cards in our hands and on the table, and each hand is different. What I wish to say is that the more you play with someone you get a better picture of that player and how he plays. So if you play long enough against AI I believe it will call a lot of your bluffs... especially if AI is turned on "risky/aggressive mode".

But except for people who wish to abuse poker sites and maybe sites that wish to cheat the players who else would use AI for poker?

It depends to the demand of the customers, if there will be complaints and feed backs about the new technology being adopted such as with AI and it's not liked by the majority. Then, the casino will have to choose what they think is best for them and their business and that might delay the adoption and will retain the old systems that they're using. There's even no need for the most of them to upgrade if most of their customers have been used to the tech that they've been using over time.

That's for sure, if there's already an unusual movement that creates good advantage against the casino system, the house will adjust on it and will also use the technology to trace it and make sure that they are updated and they are still on the upper edge, AI will continue and the chance that there are many updates that will be introduced but one is for sure, casino owners and developers will always catch up and will always do everything in their capabilities to counter and to have that same superiorities against the gamblers.

A huge industry that is also ready for any changes that will take place. We all know that money can do things and that's what the house has as primary advantage. They can use it to bring the latest updates with their system.

New technology will always be found while technology will be replaced by new, better technology. And of course, the casino will also implement the new technology into its system and replace old technology that is not by the times. There may still be casinos that haven't been able to update their systems, but they won't let their guard down in watching every action of their users. And if there is any abuse using GPT Chat or any other AI, the casino will try to recognize it with its latest system. And even though the casinos haven't made the reform, they can still identify it as a form of gambler cheating.

At first glance this AI meets gambling does sound like the holygrail of gambling 🎰 but unfortunately very few people can win the house and even if someone taught these bots some prop ways of gambling,  I don't see it succeeding as a game of poker is dynamic and on a table of over 4 or more people it will be difficult to read the game...besides it's not like this bot will be playing against itself, everyone has a winning chance!

The poker rooms that are leaders have enough profits from past rich times that they had to put aside for all sorts of unforeseen circumstances. Chat GPT is that unforeseen circumstance. So they will solve this issue without much difficulty. At least in the near future, if there is no further development of the chatGPT in the coming years.

Another question is whether smaller poker rooms, which rely on very little net profit, will be able to withstand the attack of chattp. I would rate their chance as not high.

As technology is revolving, so casinos are upgrading there system to meet up with the latest thread. Although not all casino would be able to follow the current trend. Some will still be lacking behind which can have some consequential effect with time if they don't upgrade there system to be able to fetch out gambling bots that can be use by gambling to make bet and increase there earning from a casino. There is need for a strong security advancement for casino to enable to spot chatgpt bots that can be used to make more profits for gamblers.

It may also happen between the big casinos so they can get a sense of what's going on in the gambling world. And they can also be prepared for all the possibilities that can occur in each casino. Casinos will use various methods to ensure their business remains safe from the abuse of gamblers who want to win. And don't forget that the casino will also update the system to adjust to the current conditions. The casino may also revolutionize its business into something new to survive in the next condition.

Large casinos could create a secret communication between themselves in which they share their experience on the use of AI in unfair play. Because they can't let the players abuse the AI, and this will lead to unfortunate consequences for poker rooms such as the departure of real users.

Also behind poker rooms are owners with large resources that will not allow AI to damage the poker room for a long time

Perhaps, you can say that because a casino with a system to always be on top of gamblers can just integrate a special AI for the casino so that the casino can handle gamblers who also use AI. There is no way the casinos will let gamblers who use AI make more money than the casinos because it will hurt the casino business. And I think casinos are also keeping an eye on these AI developments while keeping a close eye on their place of business and will act immediately if anything looks suspicious.

But even if gamblers use AI, casinos can handle it well so it doesn't hurt their business. Perhaps, it still takes time to see what kind of AI will be implemented or used by gamblers or casinos.
