According to me investing in ETH will be a sagacious decision. From 1 sep price of ETH was gradually going down. But from sep 17 price of ETH is going up. On sep 12 prices of ETH was 1 ETH = 182 USD now after 1 week price of ETH is 1 ETH = 224 USD which clearly shows price of ETH is going up . So investing in ETH is smart choice to get assured returns. I am not in the favour of investing in BTC as price of BTC is continuously going down. And risk tolerance is also on higher side.
of course because ethereum is a coin that has a large potential in rising prices and its future as well. so later ethereum will soar.
especially now that many investors are popping up starting from ethereum investment, for sure the price increase is really fast

ofcourse ethereum can be on the top because it is a good token and has more value than the other altcoins. Ethereum has a great platfrom which allows to create other tokens. Ethereum also got a unique and good blockchain. More power to ethereum! I really support this token until it reaches the top. 
it might no surpass bitcoin price, but it will be the next most trad-able coin in the market.
I still choose Bitcoin, because I think the most worthwhile cryptocurrency is still bitcoin, and the price of ETH is still unstable!
If you are old enough in cryptocurrency market you must be aware cryptocurrency have quite high volatility. Which means there will be high fluctuations in prices or coins. So this is how cryptocurrency works. You can not predict future prices of your investments. If i talk about today market scenario BTC is on top. Though ETH is giving strong competition to BTC but according to no other coin can BTC's position for next 2 years. ETH have potential in future market , that is why ETH is most promising and inherent coin after BTC
In my opinion ETH can not reach its peak this year and it needs more time when the Bitcoin market has not accelerated. It will take about four months for an Altcoins to recover and return.

The coin has a bright future and you can expect great returns from it.
For ICO I prefer ETH too. But for hold I prefer BTC. Can eth reach the top? Will see....
indeed to hold in the long run, I prefer bitcoin, but for ETH to shift the position of bitcoin I think it's very difficult and impossible
ETH will be difficult to peak because the real value has not been restored and there are signs of decline. However, ETH is implementing many policies to improve its value. And I believe in the coming years, ETH will make positive progress.
for now maybe ethereum price will be difficult to go up to 1000 $, if ethereum price returns to 500 $ then maybe eth can go to 1000 $ again

We are seeing how other coins are using ETH to create/invent their own coin (aka tokens) and manipulate with their coin as they want, they can't decide for the translation confirmation time, they can't decide the hashrate that is needed for the whole etherchain and so on so there are some limits for them but for ETH it is a good thing because the more transaction are created the more fees are the ETH miners earning which encourage them to continue mining more and increase the value of ETH, even though it is in the second position in coinmarketcap right now it is not the good time to predict if it will go to top as all prices are down.

ethereum has so many advantages comparing with bitccoin. it is faster, has a larger network size and fees are less. so i think ethereum has a potential to reach the top in long term. and vitalik is a such a clever guy that can make it happen.
Althoguh the whole market is just not dependant on the coin features and frankly speaking it doesnt do much but its community to judge which coin deserve to have certain amount of value.Being better than bitcoin in technical aspect doesnt instantly mean it will become #1
Reaching top can't happen instantly for ethereum. This is like a progress and it will take too much time. The adoption level will go up first worldwide and then something will happen accordinly.
I don't think that's going to happen.
