i do not think that ethereum will be a king for a l9ngbtike but i also doubt that cardanomwill be ble to take its place

Cardano does not have that force that will be able to bring down Ethereum. Ethereum is like Bitcoin and its smart contract has made it almost unbeatable by any other altcoin.
Cardano has good potential, but in fact it is not enough to destroy the Ethereum. One capitalization on the market is worth it. Cardano can not bypass the most powerful token on the crypto currency market.

Agree. Cardano has only started as a cryptocurrency last year. It would take some time before we could see Cardano rise as a solid smart contract platform within the market. I don't think it will destroy it, because Cardano has a different platform, even though they can fight for the same market, the competition is always good, that encourages development and innovation, so ETH will not be so comfortable in that second place, knowing that it has projects on its heels, this will encourage both to become better currencies, and we investors will be the ones to benefit from it. 
And why hasn't it been destroyed yet ? then destroyed it has been so much to count but for some reason Ethereum is still in 2nd place by market capitalization
This technology is really a big threat to Ethereum that it has additional advantages to overcome the threat posed by Ada, ethereum is losing value in this bearish market, Cardano should get more and should be chosen ICO and people should believe it, my personal opinion is that Cardano is a good coin and also worth the investment
It can not be said surly that Cardano can destroy Ethereum but in can happened because the condition of cardano is better than Ethereum ,it can overtake the market value from other coin.
Why do people always wish for one project to fail in order to have the other project succeed. I think there is space for both projects to succeed. I am only for team that get it right. Before it was the debate of Ethereum taken over from Ethereum but now seen the dip in ICO market which has taken its toes on Ethereum other competing platforms are now having ago at Ethereum

Honestly, I like cardano, but ethereum won't be destroyed by it, it's impossible. Cardano is still very young and does not yet have a versatile platform, on the other hand ethereum can boast that. If the cardano platform has developed, it will be amazing, but it will not kill anyone, including ethereum.
I assume that is one of the bigs words that some altcoins launch to threaten ethereum, however alas, I dont assume the human beings will trust in this. Even currently, masses of the ICOs are ERC20 so I think ethereum will nonetheless have a protracted life.
