Ethereum has been around for a while, and has had a lot of success growing, both in terms of the network and dev community. However, they've had some big crises, and are currently in need of improving their scale (which they're working very diligently at on multiple fronts).
Cardano strives to leverage the advantage of being able to start from scratch to implement things differently than Ethereum, not entirely unlike Eth did to Bitcoin. That way they hope to never encounter the scale and security issues. That being said, it's still only in development, and has a smaller community of developers.

Cardano holder here. At the end of the day, unfortunately, the best tech doesn't always succeed. There are other factors involved. Ethereum has a head start on Cardano with the number of dApps on its platform. If it gets a critical mass, it may be difficult for Cardano to "incentivize" devs, users, etc to switch to its platform.
Cardano is building a system that will process transactions more quickly as more people join. It will model BitTorrent in this sense. This will allow for millions or perhaps billions of users without speed being compromised. Ethereum will eventually hit a wall with the amount of users it will be capable of supporting. Prevent Hard Forks: Cardano will be built in a way to prevent hard Forks. (Both Bitcoin and Ethereum have hard forked already) Security: security layers and higher encryption algorithms. Built from ground up: Cardano blockchain is built using Haskell language (as opposed to solidity). It is being designed based off of scientific study. Peer reviewed: Block chain engineering goes through a peer reviewed process as opposed to ethereum which was essentially engineered by taking several different ideas developed independently and then combined into a final product.
Now it is very difficult to talk about whether Cardano can replace ETH. But in the future this coin can compete with ETH. This crypto currency has good prospects.
It is impossible in future possibilities but Cardano will destroy in future that is possible on future market. Because EOS is occupy the more consumer and both the project is quite similar so Cardano will not survive in future. But Ethereum is always supporting to many projects and it have high marketcap in crypto market so Ethereum is a unique platform.
Very thanks for the information in the article review. In my opinion, the chance of Cardano to destroy the Ethereum right now is small. ethereum still becomes the queen of the crypto. However, we cannot predict it for two years later. Cardano (ADA) is also a smart-contract- based crypto that is created to to handle high-volume transactions with many other advantages. Seen from the volume right now in the market, it has been progressing very well.
Despite the great potential of Cardano, Ethereum is still the most reliable one among altcoins. I don't think people will give up Ethereum and chase Cardano.

It seems to me that this is too harsh statement. The main thing is that Cardano really has the potential for growth, and the Ethereum has quite complex problems. So I will take a closer look at Cardano.
Lots of unexpected thigs may happen but I don't think ethereum can be destroyed in next few years. But for the next 10-20 years nothing is predictable.
Cardano being an effective digital asset has given a hard competence to the ethereum which stays next to the king of cryptocurrency bitcoin. From my thoughts cardano will not destroy ethereum. The development of cardano is not over, so when it gets completed it'll be found big and the same won't destroy ethereum.
Cardano is a fine project and surely better than Ether, Simply because of the fact, that Cardano is a nice scientific driven project, While the scientists behind Cardano are calculating the best way how a blockchain can work.but i always like EHT.
Not necessarily, destroying Ethereum may not have been discovered before, but it is a fact that many coins will surpass Ethereum in the future. Ethereum is overrated by many people and it is very dangerous.

Although Cardano has great potential, the gap between it and Ethereum is still huge. Ethereum is the king of altcoins now, and there are strong altcoins such as xrp, bch, and eos under ETH, so I don't think Cardano will exceed Ethereum.
Although the ADA looks really good, it’s too early to replace ETH. There are so many projects that say such things, but no one has ever done it. This is a fact. Therefore, we don't have to think that anyone can replace ETH in a few years, which is unrealistic. ADA, EOS, NEO or more coins, there is still a long way to go from Ethereum. I hope we can still see them after a few years.
I do not support such articles and speculative statements, eth has a strong community and serving millions of users and is highly adopted after bitcoin while cardano has yet to come up with any working product or service so there is no comparison at all.
