The reason for posting this here is to highlight the problem with support and a public facing chatbox.
Do you think it looks good when a new user enters the site sees several reports of issues with the system, and then support just come along and remind people of the chat rules?
Also it was spammed twice, which is normally reserved for clearing evil links from view. I can only assume gordon was trying to hide the problem by "brushing it under the carpet", as he did not address it for another 2 further hours.
In summary, users want to see a friendly helpful team of support agents, and that is not what is on display at cex.io 99% of the time, however helpful they might be via tickets.
They need to be extra helpful in chat, as EVERYONE can see that, for hours/days to come.
@D4RK5T4R I totally agree with you. I simply am not concerned as I don't go to that chatbox usually. I am not sure why is it there even. Its just a bunch of idle chaps trolling each other.
I have a tourism company(I would love to but wouldn't advertise it here) and I have a forum and ticketing system and call support(Although it is not a call centre but 3-4 people serving) if there is a trouble on the website or services provided we get a ticket but not someone calling BBC that F!@##gen Tours is having an issue and UN conference should resolve it. I believe I am speaking genuinely.
It would sound fake but I haven't lost a penny till now with CEX(I haven't earned millions too) . They seem quite good for trading. I am not mining so it would be unfair to support them in mining.(Using CEX for 2 months)
They have got some new states added and I referred my friends and they did not bang me till now so believe they are happy.
About the features and safety. There verification really is a tedious thing. Its like wrestling with Yokozuna but I won. I understood the requirements and on 2nd or 3rd attempt I was able to provide the necessary docs. Now I am their business user with much vast opportunities. I am planning to enter some stage called corporate user thing but my lawyer did not send his response if it is good and profitable. Lets see.
Safety is good ... I saw an unknown IP form germany trying to access and they informed me and blocked my account for 8-10 hours to check and it was me only who went to germany and I got my account back. I mean it is a class service...
@cex You see you are in trouble now... Stop watching this tom and jerry and hire a new moderator for forum guys... You are genuine but you don't look like . You need to be well dressed to be addressed ....
Get some good editors in the forum and clean it ....
