Shouldn't there be a thread that could somehow provide some history on bounties? OP for this thread could solicit and update unbiased accounts on participation on past bounties by users and some form of feedback on how the bounties were managed can also be highlighted then possibly ranked. This 'abuse' could be prevented if bounty hunters are: (1)made aware of past schemes that have proven to be somewhat deceitful or unfair; and (2)encouraged to support current/future bounties managed by bounty managers who have a good track record.

This is just a regular trick of how to pay less tokens to bounty participants, but unfortunately, they can do it. As we are starting to take part in bounties we are accepting the point that managers are allowed to change bounties in any direction that want to.

Lately more and more bounties are not following its own rules. By changing it after the campaign was finish and its unacceptable a form of abuse, decietful, dishonest, in the beggining the stupid terms and condition which is all favor to the team. It should be stop! the bounties must be return to its previous state like 2016-2017 those abusive Bounty Managers whos practice unfair method must gain negative trust. join for the fight
Unfortunately, this often happens, and it usually always depends not from the bounty manager, but from the company that doing the bounty, because specifically in each bounty the rules are written that at any time the company that doing the bounty can change the rules and reduce the bounty pool, and with this of course, it’s very difficult to do something, but there is always a way out in such situations, namely, all bounty hunters need to get together and fight with the team of such companies.

There is a rule in the bounty thread that the team and the manager has the right to change the rules anytime they want.
This is legal if they will hcange the bounty rules or extend the duration period due to their disclaimer.
But i think, sometime that rule is not fair and abuse the participants, there must be changes on that.
They are changing rules without any further explanation bounty hunters have nothing else to do but to wait or follow any instructions or those changes that has been done after the bounty had ended, it's not good for the image of their team as it will be a distrustful act when changes has been done after which it's should be there before or while the campaign is still ongoing.

A frequent change is that Bounty Hunter is required to do KYC before accepting payment. And perhaps this is more painful when projects like Money tokens, Bounty campaign projects expire. And who gets their payout with the member account level above. And accounts with Junior level members don't get anything and this happens in the signature campaign program.

While this Junior account has been followed from the start of the project run. I suppose there should be strict rules for those who want to change the rules.

That is completely unavoidable, there are many reasons. For example, they discovered many bots or maybe too many or too few participants

An honest bounty manager will explain all the rules above bounty openly and transparently. If at any time there are changes to the rules, they will always make announcements on their bounty page or on their social media channels.
Meanwhile, as the case mentioned above, it's very clear that bounty hunters will feel so wronged. But we cannot do anything, because on the main page of the bounty, the rules have been written first: Bounty Manager and the Team reserves the right to change or add rules any time during the campaign. That way we as bounty hunters can't do anything.

in fact this is a risk of being a bounty hunter and we cannot deny this all, let alone the developer and the project team have full authority in every rule that applies in the project. Well, it is fair or unfair, honestly in my opinion it is indeed unfair if the team changes the rules at the end of the campaign.

Live with peace and enjoy life!
Bounty manager has nothing to do with it actually. Because they wrote in the thread that anytime team can change the rules or allocation so join with caution! Some projects are treating badly with the bounty hunters! So, bounty managers are not to blame in this case I think. And one thing you have to remind that we passed away those glory bounty days in 2016-2017! Just Forget them, bounty hunting won't be the same as those years!
Bounties nowadays are so much different compared to those previous years. The budget allocated for it is so much small already and the fact that some bounty hunters are still changing the rules including the share allocations at the end of the campaign which resulted into uneven shares and some are not really rewarded. Although we cannot the blame the bounty manager itself but to be fair to the bounty hunters, they should be given fair shares to paid off all of their efforts.

The most common deception is the introduction of the KYC procedure at the end of a company's bounty. I try to avoid the company where this procedure is required. I do not wish to give my personal data to anyone. Bounty and managers who lead these companies should definitely get negative trust on this forum.

The change in the terms of payment of remuneration to bounty hunters is primarily to blame for the ICO team. Now it has come to the point that rarely a team does not deceive bounty hunters. A recent example of this is the Mirakle Tele project. The team has long paid passive income in its website. However, after some time they unilaterally announced that they were reducing payments and that the previously paid amounts on this site would be recounted downwards. This means a decrease of about five times. It turns out that who managed to withdraw this income, he won, and who believed this project, to a large extent lost their money. The team could reduce the amount of paid passive income, however, to select the amounts already calculated - this is a direct and undisguised fraud.

Yes, It sometimes happens to me. The manager instantly changes the allocation of bounty in the day of distribution.
The rules are already written that the allocation is fixed, but yeah... The lied in the end

Natural selection applies here: D bounty managers who are indicated to commit fraud, unfair, and other negative actions will surely get harsh warnings and negtrust punishment from moderators. Bounty hunter will also not want to join the bounty project he is handling. I also don't like to join bounty managers who are not professional in carrying out their duties.
For rules that change at the end of the campaign period, it is the rights and authority of the developer and the bounty manager team. Either the allocation is cut, the period is extended, doing KYC, etc. That's part of the risk, if you agree, then do it, if not, leave it.

The truth is, changing rules at the end of bounty campaign is really a form of abuse of which I second to. Not even along the or within the period of the campaign but rather at the end is really a great form of abuse of which project and bounty managers should step away from. Even though bounty rules may be subject to change but doing so after hunters are done working is a form of abuse and cheat.

There were so many bounties before in 2018 which is really scam!
We are looking forward for a better bounties this year.
Changing rules is legal as it is stated on the thread, though if KYC will be a mandatory it should be declare on the first day of the bounty campaign.

Absolutely a form of abuse on the part of the team as well as the bm, because some bm don't  fight on behalf of the bounty hunters, rather they only fight themselves only, allow the team to treat hunters like they don't matter, all this last minute change of rules is definitely an indirect abuse of bouty hunters effort to promote  that project.

Many bounty managers who were in 2017-2018 years is not working. Now there are a lot of newcomers. Of course, injustice is very common, but bounty managers write in terms of bounty that the rules can be changed at any time. Also, sometimes the project team itself can change the conditions of the bounty, and in this case the BM has nothing to do with it.

Changing the rules at the end of a bounty campaign can really be frustrating and unfair as some even consider it to be a form of an abuse but what are we all missing here?, Most bounty managers always indicates at the end of their bounty rules that their bounty rules are subject to change and if it does happens, what is the course of alarm? Is high time bounty hunter read bounty rules and stop considering change of rules at the end of a bounty campaign as an abuse.

This has become the order of the day for most bounties yet they crucify hunters that do not adhere to rules. If these projects on bounty campaihms can stick to their own rules to the later, bounty will be a lot more fun.
