In the Bounty there is usually a regulation that says that the Team & manager can change the rules at any time without further notice. Of course that is a rule from the beginning, so if there are rules that are changed, of course we must follow what they say. That is the importance of reading the Rules before participating in the bounty.

Before you will join in any bounty, it will be better if you are going to read their terms first to avoid any problem in the end. If the bounty campaign didn't state in their terms that they have the right to change the rules in the campaign then changing the rules in the end is a form of abuse.
But if it was stated in their terms then we cannot say that it is an abuse as it was clearly stated in their terms that they can always alter their terms anytime they like. So it's better that we will be wise in joining any type of campaigns and always read their terms then make sure that you agree with it before joining.

Almost every bounty i suffered from this change of rules. I read the rules carefully, did everything right but in the end i got %10 of what i earned. But there is no place to apply about this abuse so i let it go.
Maybe the bounty manager already inform to you all like "The reward of the bounty will be 1% of raised money on ICO" And on the thread they say that they will give you rewards based on ICO Hardcap.And when the bounty Ends, the project only reach their softcap and because that your rewards are slightly decreased. It all depend on what manager says earlier, that the rewards are based on raised money, not exact amount.
I think this is why many hunter are complains about their rewards got decreased by manager.

Sadly to say we need to adjust and just go with the flow because we are this era where the bounty manager of 2016-17 is no longer bounty manager, if you want to earn just do work and follow their rules.

Some bounty campaigns announced that they have the rights to change any rules before proceeding the start of the campaign, but usually, the changes only apply to the number of stakes, posts, and members. Changing the rules should only be limited in time, if they're serious on their bounty pool, they should decide it earlier.

Changing rules in the middle or end of the campaign are not good but normally bounty manager mentioned it terms so nothing can be done. However, our best bet is always to join a bounty campaign after some good research about the project and bounty manager.

From my own experiences, it can not be prevented. As long as the rules that was changes is for the sake of the project and for the bounty hunters, too. The manager has the right to change the rules in a positive way. But we can't deny the fact that some of the bounty hunters are abusing their position and abusing the bounty participants as well. It is responsibility of a manager not to abused the whole project including the efforts and time of bounty hunters.

sometimes the bounty will disappear and be replaced with the new method.
yes, I think that will happen, proven at this time. there are lots of ico who don't succeed and don't even get the sofcap.
so it's useless to say that. because in my opinion you better try to find other fortune.

This is unacceptable.
However, normally most bounties will have a rule that states they can change the rules whenever. So that usually covers the bounty managers and the company.
That said, it's never fun to have your work go unappreciated with this kind of change.

Bounty managers dont have a problem here. The real problem are the bounty hunters due to the reason that is not following the rules that is stated of the bounty managers or admin which its easy to understand that's why BM are doing some sudden changes because of idiotic and cheater participants

There is a term that "manager or team can change any terms at any time without notice" So I think it's not abused as they clearly wrote any modification is possible. And participants are agreed in the terms by participating in bounties. That's what I read in most bounty campaign. Probably you need to read it again before the complaint.
Exactly! Bounty hunters should read rules carefully. If there are rules like that, there is no abusement at all. However, there is another point should be taken into consideration. If authors of bounty threads edit OPs, in order to adjust or change rules, readers will see ................. under OP subject titles. That might be a signal to consider potential abusements by changing rules at the ends.Most of these people changing rules are typically scams, because I dint see reason why you would want to lock people’s coin after they have worked. I think there should be another strategy that will protect the bounty hunters because that is really so unfair to them, they deserve their wages after being paid.

The problem with most bounty hunters is that they don't read instruction before joining a campaign, you can't expect a project that promised $100k before ICO and failed to reach half of its hardcap to give out the same amount promised after the ICO. One thing I want to stress is that, if a bounty manager is found out, that person need to be given negative trust.

this is very painful but inevitably we also have to follow it if the objection and the project you are following is not good it is better to get out. It is normal to be a bounty hunter, but is not appreciated, but if they do it outrageously, it cannot be forgiven

Totally agree with you. Unfortunately, more and more often we are confronted with such an injustice. Most of the bounty campaigns in which I participated recently (but not all!) are playing a dirty game. Campaign rules change at the last moment or even after the campaign has been completed.Someday I would like to see regulatory authorities for interactions of a similar nature.

To be honest, all bounties and all programs, whether you like it or not, should be able to reserve the rights to amend the campaign as per the conditions of the business and market. I love the campaigns I've participated in because they've always done this. Advised participants on how to change behavior. Adjusted pay rates (sometimes adjusted up to so that's nice).

Yes it is there are so many abusive bounty managers and developers, I would like to lay out some of these abuses, they announced that they will not ask for KYC but after the campaign, they are asking bounty hunters to go through KYC now, they locked the bounty hunters tokens indefinitely, these two are some of the worse abuse they give to their bounty.
Can you tell who they are, I also participated in a lot of bounty. However, it is only the case that the team deliberately delays the time to distribute tokens, in some cases they will almost forget them
Not only forgetting about the distribution but sometimes they will not reduce the bounty because they are jealous of the money they raised. Before ICO, owners of the company are very pleasing manner but after the ICO, they will not care about the bounty hunters.

just one rule at the beginning of the bounty campaign can change all the rules at anytime. So when you are on a bounty campaign and you see where it is written that "THE TEAM OR BOUNTY MANAGER HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE ANY RULES" then know that anything can happen in the rules stated earlier July 12, 2019, 02:42:28 AM

Although stated that they can change the rules anytime but it should not be to the point that they are going to abuse their bounty hunters like delaying the bounty hunters rewards for so many times like what Adab has been doing for a very long time and not giving definite time to distribute.
