I agree with you, teams ain't bad by design, but need to be channeled into their own playground (or into a shipping crate going back to Spain). I always giggle when 3-4 of those sexy little blobs are amassing into one, but not before I launch a perfect blob into their midst and instantaneously grow enormous and become them... lol. And then I go and make some stupid mistake and Sam or someone else who hates me steals my glory 

When the dollar is worth less than a satoshi, we will have ChopCoin millionaire parties! 

Yeah its an awesome game we need more like it.  Battlecoin is great also but the numbers are lacking so much so that he dev has put the project on hold due to lack of funds and no investment. We need more skill game gambler devs for sure.

A site of interest. You create a gambling are quite different from the other. very dear interested and hopefully I will get a lot of final victory. Because I love the game that exists therein. Just eat and avoid for eat : v

I see chopcoin.io as an ideal 'proof of human' model for BTC and other crypto fountains.

Is it open source?  Can I buy modified versions to use for Monero and Decred fountains?

You don’t have to have a team but unless your good it can get annoying i assume I honestly like the teams its made me sooooo much of a better player when you take on 2 and 3 man teams and can pop and eat them then its pat your self on the back time.  You all need to look at that Prop you guys wouldn’t be as good as you are (just throw up alittle giving you all a compliment like that) if it wasn’t for teams.

Well being based at bitcoin rewards should be one thing to bring new players,the thing is they dont know and play agar because they wanna relax in the most,chopcoin is for relax but well people playing to win soo sometime you will see someone eating you being 20x your size the thing is we need more tournaments some shedule montly or weekly,and we need some room to play with teams as they are being made..... soo or admin put some restricted rule over the game that stop the teams or create a place to them.

Why did I miss this? what a fantastic idea, combining a super addictive game with Bitcoin always works out well. It did with the bomberman clone (Battlecoin) and this agar.io clone is also very addictive, and now it doesn't feel like a total waste of time since you are making some satoshis on the side:p

I just wish more people were aware so they would play this instead of agar.io, even tho if Bitcoin becomes huge agar.io may add Bitcoin themselves which make render this project a bit irrelevant unless you bring some unique features.

Well as an player of chopcoin i hope admin do something against those cheaters that play around 3 or more together making the game unfair to new players and even good players,something must be done with the teams,make a mode for them with a 50k satoshis fee and max for each team of 3 players ,this way im sure the teams wont disturb anyone since it will be 3 against 3 ,kindly think about gandalf sugestions and maybe this mine to create a paid room with teams only.

Ok 1st Agar is open source so yes its legal

2 its like Agar but not were near as boring or slow. the timed rounds help but just the overall speed and game play is different. come try it out

I noticed that too.. What a shame, that was the best update to the game I have seen so far. It enabled so many new tactics, made the gameplay 10x as fun and intense, and it also had an effect on reducing the tag-team tactics of the Spanish teams that have no idea what a Caps Lock button is.

An idea for reducing teaming in free-for-all playgrounds: If two or more players are caught actively teaming (throwing almost all their blobs into the other team player so he eats everything around him), then the user IDs would be banned from playing in the same playground together. That way it is not as harsh as a total ban from the whole game, but it could still serve as a deterrent. I can imagine creative ways to avoid this, but at least it makes it more of an effort to be a dick.

Another idea: Players who have been teaming will get a "GPS"-marker on them as a penalty, so that all the other players in the playground will always see a small arrow or something revealing the direction of his location. Then people like me would always chase the arrow and eat him every chance I get, to punish the bastard. That could be a cool game mode as well I suppose, where one random player has a bounty on him for say 2 minutes and must stay alive, and then the bounty is placed on another random player afterwards.

I never played agar.io, but I think that in one of the first pages the devs say chopcoin is based on agar, but with their own modifications... Legal or not? I have no idea, but I am guessing it is. There are other "clones" too, but chopcoin is definitely more fun. Being able to win BTC from playing a great game is why I like it so much, it's a great combo.

If lots of more players joined in the lowroller or the higher playgrounds, we could earn even more BTC. I only hope that the devs manage to work things out so that the business model is sustainable. Again, more communication with the community is key here.

Oh so this is basically a copy of agar.io is this even legal? I mean the game is really good, it's not yours but it's good, the idea is also very good but in the end it can be boring, I played too much agar and after a while it gets boring.

I've noticed 2 changes recently:
1. Faucet-arena got like twice as fast, which made the game much more challenging and less boring. But "W" did not work on small balls, as they moved faster than the ejected mass (that speed should have doubled too I guess).
2. The next day it was slower again, but small balls merge in 5 seconds. Big balls still take like 30 seconds. It is still like this today.
It stopped teaming for a few days, but they've adapted fast and are back now.
This mode gives some new advantages and also some disadvantages, so in general it is a nice change.

Then you will love this game, it's amazing

I'm so sick of playing agar already that I just have no interest even though I've spent literally hours on agar..
