Make them all Gen 1 at the bios plus change the PCE speed to 8x4x4, make sure its set at PEG.
Got 7 working no problem, Windows 10 Pro by the way, but all changes are at Bios level.
Are you sure a 1300 PSU can handle 6 RX480 plus the mobo?
Got 7 r9 390 running with 2 1300.

Need Help!!! I have z97 Gaming 5 Mobo (with 1300w PSU), Windows 8, Claymore 11 Beta with Crimson 17 latest driver.

I have 6x RX480 8GB GPUs (using Powered PCI raisers) in the Rig but only 5 recognized,  but 6th errors out with following message in Windows Device Manager

Device Status:
Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

And the 6th one never show up for mining.

NOTE: I did confirmed that GPU and Power raisers are works fine. Also tried swapping GPUs but no help.

I have tried almost all option on disabling unused hardware in CMOS. Started Rig one by one until 6 GPUs.

Still it does not recognize 6 GPUS. ONLY 5 works as of now.

Please help how to make the 6th one working.

Google it.

You get "error 43" usually because the miner is counting your onboard graphics as a GPU. So 5 gpus + onboard graphics = 6.  You need to disable your onboard graphics. This usually resolves error code 43 problems.

Better switch to win10 or try this mod:

what is this "brake pedal" you speak of?

470 runs around 26@120
480 runs around 29@135

Theoretically its possible to run 470 at 28, but it requires hardcore mem OC and not many cards can handle it 24/7.

my powercolor red dragon 470 4 GB single fan does a hair over 29 mhz on eth with the 1750 strap mod.  1200/2100 -75mv. 24/7 stable. no idea of the power draw at the wall though but gpuz says 85 watts for the chip only. it is undervolted and underclocked core wise.

need samsung memory is the main thing for the 470 29+ club.

I have a question for RX 470 and 480 users

What power consumption do you guys get with what hash rates?

Have you read the forum ? there is alot of post already referencing those numbers.

I read plenty of post about hash rates but power draw is not so consistent. Problem when searching these terms even with quotations is it only requires the words to appear anywhere on the page, even if one is in a post and the other is a related link.

friends today admin pool https://ethereum.miningpoolhub.com/ stole my 5.89832591 silent and not responding - what to do ?
also i noticed they tried to request a password reset on that pool and my ethereum is lost........... -.-

To do a password reset, someone has access to your email password.

This usually happens when people use the same password all over the internet. When a site/company is compromised, the list of passwords is used to access other accounts that you may have on the web.

Don't use the same passwords and don't store coins in a pool!

I'll just give my bank pin to the guy that runs the local pub or, better yet, just skip the bank, I'll give him all my savings to keep behind the counter...

Hi there,

I have just started running five old AMD 7950 and I am getting the following stat's with Windows 10.

Do they look average / good ?

ETH - Total Speed: 62.777 Mh/s, Total Shares: 5, Rejected: 0, Time: 00:06
ETH: GPU0 12.053 Mh/s, GPU1 13.134 Mh/s, GPU2 12.771 Mh/s, GPU3 12.769 Mh/s, GPU 4 12.047 Mh/s
DCR - Total Speed: 941.656 Mh/s, Total Shares: 1, Rejected: 0  DCR: GPU0 180.792 Mh/s, GPU1 197.006 Mh/s, GPU2 191.570 Mh/s, GPU3 191.535 Mh/s , GPU4 180.709 Mh/s

It's pointless to mine ETH with this GPU. Mine Zcash or EXP.

The admin hasn't stole your coins, dumass. He logs on the forum every day, he'll check it when he is not sleeping.
Don't spread FUD.

MiningPoolHub has given out so much even when it's not his fault. 5 Eth is hardly anything; as to why you are storing it in a pool is another story (setup up auto withdraw).

I would ask if claymore is working on a more powerful miner for 1070 gtx. Interested ETH, ETC, and LBRY.

No. The 1070 isn't good at mining those coins. The architecture is wrong.  Dagger Hashimoto isn't good for Nvidia. It's better for AMD cards.

just a simple line:
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool etc-eu1.nanopool.org:19999 -ewal walletID

virtual memory shows me 49152, because on C:\ i set 32GB on other drive 16GB, tried also with fixed 16GB C:\ only, 32GB C:\ only, and some other settings.

try to add this to your cmdline

-mode 1 -allcoins etc

if you don't,  the miner try to mine ETH for the devfee, hence your error in DAG creation, if you force allcoin etc, only ETC dags will be created.

It doesn't work, you get the same DAG error, no matter if they are ETC.
Its O.K. atm, when we can mine Zcash, but what happens if ZEC is no longer profitable?
All 2GB cards go on Ebay? hehe

Have you saw my previous post ?

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.17513221

ETH and ETC got the same DAG size (didn't knew at the time i made the first reply), if you want to mine with 2GB gpu's, mine EXP (Expanse) same algo but DAG is alot smaller and should fit 2GB GPU's

so use an EXP pool with
Code:
-mode 1 -allcoins exp
for solo EXP mining and it should work.
