another issue with Linux version, from few days it constantly switching SIA pools every 30-40minutes..
Windows version is ok, even if I revert rigs :S
Code:
SC: http error #28.
SC: Failed to check work on pool, retry in 10 sec..

This error code means "operation timeout".
I can say again and again: don't use Linux if you can use Windows! Most problems are related not to miner but to Linux itself and I have to find workarounds all the time.

Hmm Windows is too expensive, and is unstable  if miner crash =windows crash and hard reset is necessary. If on linux fail = just kill the process
you can do the same on windows and it isn't to expensive since you can buy a POS tablet and use the product key from that, which you can get using slmgr or grab from the bios since they usually enable secure boot.

It takes a lot to build but not much to lose
Is there any way to specify difficulty in dual mining?

On the rigs that i have connected to the same network as my ETH Pool ( one PC running geth ) i get the
"No new jobs where received from the pool"  error

Screenshot

its connected to the pool, it shows GPU temp but it wont start mining

any suggestions?
Do you run the latest geth ? 1.4.14 ? If not, it's the reason, due to latest attacks against the network
You can find it here : https://github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/releases

I have flashed my bios and 4 out of my 5 cards are running at 29mh but 1 is running at 18. Is there an easy way of identifying which physical card it is using the Claymore mining app (which is awesome btw!!!)?

See it tempo on claymore, example Gpu1 65c, press 1 on your keyboard, it ill stop mining on it, go to msi afterburn search for a low temp card, stop it fans, profit

Man that's perfect! Thanks!

geth must show "imported 1 block" message a few times per minute. If it does not, that's the reason.

Prompt, volume memory like something affects the production of ET, it turned out that is worth 1GB. What will happen if you increase to 4GB?

OpenCL reduced available memory for OpenCL applications on your system, usually it is related to environment variables and size of RAM installed.
But detecting 3GB instead of 4GB will not change your mining speed. So what's the problem?

The miner exits just after the "start building OpenCL program...".

I've had the same problem but with my RX480. My problem was that it needs more ram, I was with only 2GB, then put 2GB more and everything is OK. How much ram do you have?

That's it. BINGO!

Machine had only 2GB of RAM. Replacing a 1GB memory card for a 2GB one (3GB total) solved.

Thank you very much to everyone to replied.

Hello everybody!

This is weird:

It's a RX 470 Red Dragon 4GB board on an old machine (that I use for tests) running Windows 10 and AMD 16.9.1 drivers.

Claymore recognizes correctly other boards like 4GB Tongas. But reports only 3072 MB on Ellesmeres.

I tried with 3 different models and other driver versions. Always same result.

Which windows Version is recommened for the Rx470?

Win7 or Win10 no difference for miner.

Hi, Claymore!
Will you be adding the up-coming Zcash into your dual mining? They have a bounty of $30k for CPU and GPU miner.

I will not do anything until this coin is released.

Happened to me as well... reinstalling the driver solved. Make sure to use Wagnard DDU to uninstall the old drivers without leaving any trace, and use the new rx 470 driver alone..

Does anyone know if there's any way to mine two different secondary coins; for example, SIACOIN on my RX 480 cards, and LBRY on my 1070?
Use two miner instances with different *.bat files. Use -di option to select needed gpus and -mport 0 option to disable monitoring errors when running 2 miners simultaneously.

Hi Claymore,

I have a small request to include a field in Ethman, to extract the Crimson version installed on each rig.

If this is useful addition, I hope other members can also support this request so that justification for Claymore to spend the effort to add the field.

Thanks and keep up the good work.

Thanks

Why do you want to extract the Crimson version installed on each rig. What is the extra benefit for doing that?

It may not be a big deal if you have only a couple of rigs, but its very useful for managing large mining farms.

I have many rigs with different types of GPUs and several batches are with modded ROMs, and Win7, Win8.1, Win10 and a lone Linux build.

I had to use different levels of Crimson drivers (for modded and non-modded rom rigs) and keep an eye on temperature and power consumption/power bill.

In addition, I have added a few new rigs for XMR mining and new Ethman manages both ETH and XMR on a single dashboard, the dashboard is going to look very busy.

It will be useful to keep track of Crimson drivers in the dashboard so that one could continuously ensure each rig is at optimum performance, with lowest power consumption and safe temperature, with the correct drivers as when they are available.
