Not a Claymore's miner problem, but does anyone know why our TitanX is slowing down after been started mining?

The GTX970 isn't doing that?

POSSIBLY HEAT THROTTLING--

My GTX 750ti cards rock steady, but the bigger cards often slow down because of heat.      --scryptr

Clock control with rx480 is working great in 6.x, but i miss voltage control. Sometimes my miners lose power due to a external problem with some kind of spike of some factory in the neighborhood (when it happens, its always the same hour in the morning). Miners restart and launch claymore miner, but Wattman returns to default settings. This is 21mh/s instead of 27mh/s per card (rx480 4gb). I need to set memory to 2200mhz with 900mV and also underclock gpu in all steps.
Its possible to implement voltage control with claymore miner with the new ADL version?

For some strange reason, top-end nVidia cards do not "scale" in proportion to their compute capacity when mining Dagger-Hashimoto.  I have an EVGA CLASSIFIED 980ti, and it mines ETH/DCR at 22MH/s / 210MH/s, but my EVGA 970 FTW cars get 20MH/s mining ETH (with Genoil's miner).  On other, more compute intensive algos, the top-end cards perform better.  My 980ti is on Win 7 x64, driver 368.81.

Thanks for clarifying, is that the best performing driver for Win 7 x64?
We are now running the latest one, maybe we can get a bit higher speed with another driver?

I CHECKED YESTERDAY--

No new nVidia drivers for my Win 7 x64 system.  There are newer drivers (designated with a higher number than 368.81), but not for my system.  As for speed, Claymore's miner is actually faster in hash rate than Genoil's 1.1.7 by about ~1MH/s.  I get just under 22MH/s , whereas Genoil's miner was mining at just over 20MH/s.  My Linux-based GTX 270 cards mine at just under 20MH/s with Genoil's miner.  Claymore's miner has only mined with driver 368.81 on my Win 7 system, so I can't compare perforrmance on driver versions.

I was mining Library Credits (LBC) with my GTX 980ti because it can perform as well as 5 GTX 750ti cards mining LBC, about 250MH/s.  And, while the GTX 750ti cards will mine at a steady 50MH/s each, the GTX 980ti card will fluctuate between 220MH/s and 250MH/s because of temperature throttling. The GTX 980ti card will start off higher than 260MH/s, but rapidly throttle down.  I try to use cards on algos where they do well.  With Claymore's miner, I miine ETH/DCR.       --scryptr

so, check today

I'm getting 31.5MHs ETH and 200MHs DCR @ 1900/4800
Win7 64bit, 372.54 Drivers, it should work for you too.

btw, now I can mine ETH with 750Ti in win7 at astonishing speed of 1.5MHs Cheesy

WITH WHAT MODEL NVIDIA GPU?  --

I am speaking of an EVGA CLASSIFIED 980ti GPU.  I have never clocked the core greater than the low-to-middle 1400s.  I am, however, downloading driver 372.54 as I type this.  I just checked, it is available as an official download for Win 7 x64.  I did not go to the nVidia site and download a driver unfit for my system. If you have a 10XX series card, your numbers may be real.  But, at 1900 core, my card would likely throw sparks and flame out.

The new 10XX series circuits are able to tolerate much more extreme clocking.  They use less energy, and run much cooler.  Thanks for the reminder!       --scryptr

that's what I'm using for my 470s

the 8GB card arrived today and it gets 23mhs stock vs the 20 mhs stock on the 4 gig cards

I also installed the hotfix 16.8.2 over 7.3 and it fixed the issue with upping mem freq over 1700 , all 470s can get to 2050 mem now

Right now I upped the mem to 1750 for all cards and the 8 gig card gets to 24 mhs eth and 467 sia , all the 4 GB cards arfe 21.2 and 427 sia.

I think I could get these cards way higer with a custom bios though all in all they are decent cards with no 480s in stock

@Marvell1

how do you apply hot fix over 7.3? I first install 16.7.3-it is OK, then i try to install hotfix, it installs, but then throws Q5core.dll error if i keep 16.7.3. If i remove 16.7.3 first, then 'hotfix' installs fine.
By "over", do you mean install "hotfix" in the same folder as 16.7.3, or let it choose whatever folder it chooses?
Thanks

The hotfix is standalone, you need to remove 16.7.3 first.

GTX 1080 cards reportedly hash ETH at a less-than-predicted rate, also.       --scryptr

After trying a lot of different driver versions, we have it running with CUDA 6.5 and Miner 6.1
Geforce Driver: 350.12

ETH - Total Speed: 21.970 Mh/s, Total Shares: 26, Rejected: 0, Time: 00:08
ETH: GPU0 12.659 Mh/s, GPU1 9.311 Mh/s
SC - Total Speed: 329.548 Mh/s, Total Shares: 36, Rejected: 0
SC: GPU0 189.889 Mh/s, GPU1 139.659 Mh/s

GPU0=GTXTitanX
GPU1=GTX970

----------

Current batfile is this:

ethdcrminer64.exe -epool etc-eu.suprnova.cc:3333 -ewal user.worker -epsw x -esm 3 -dpool sia.suprnova.cc:7777 -dwal worker.user -dpsw x -dcoin sia -allpools 1

We got it running at Windows 7 x64 now.

GPU #0: GeForce GTX TITAN X, 12288 MB available, 24 compute units, capability: 5.2
GPU #1: GeForce GTX 970, 4096 MB available, 13 compute units, capability: 5.2
ETH - Total Speed: 34.305 Mh/s, Total Shares: 1, Rejected: 0, Time: 00:02
ETH: GPU0 15.662 Mh/s, GPU1 18.674 Mh/s

Still, the GTX 970 is faster than the GTX TitanX, both in single as in dual mode?
How is this possible?

Getting 2 mh/s with my 980ti. Suggestions?

driver version 372.54
install older driver for Maxwell

What driver do you recommend?
For Win10 you need to use driver 347.52, and disable automatic driver updates in Windows 10, which is a pain.

Any guides on how to do this?

Hi, is anyone else having an issue with the new versions (6.0 and 6.1) not detecting all cards for temp monitoring?

One of my rigs has 2 x 480x cards (plugged straight into 16x slots on the mainboard).

Rig is mining fine on both cards, but the temp is monitored for only one card.  Both cards are detected fine in windows (10), and also in wattman (I can control them in wattman fine), and behave otherwise as you would expect, but one is refusing to show its temp in the miner.
