radeon settings --> gaming --> global settings --> gpu workload --> compute
... because when you need to compute hashes for minting coins you go to the section for playing games while stuck to the outside surface of a sphere spinning 1000 mph in a vacuum, such intuitive gui design.

I think the problem could something be that i cant use the full power.
While mining i still can browse play videos listen music... games are laggy
but not that laggy as i would expect.

Im only getting 11,6 with my rx580 here.
Im in computing mod.
I used this tool here to activate it:

after that i saw in the claymore miner that you simply can press y while its running to enable it, but it
telled me its already enabled..

Any clue as to why it would crash windows on applying the settings?
Everything works as expected without rxboost - I run it, says something about 2200mhz and then the machine reboots.
The logs look pretty empty, so I can't add more.
It is running in test mode on reboot.

Curious to know if anyone else has a Hynix mem Sapphire RX580 8GB Nitro+ and is getting anything more than 27MH/s out of it? I have tried all 6 straps and none of them have yielded any performance past 27MH/s
Edit: NM I reflashed a "Stock" bios from another 580 I had and it runs better but only maxing out at 32.5MH/s with -strap 5. Strap 6 crashes it so I am satisfied for now.

Greetings, I have them, the lowest marks me 31.5 Mh / s and the highest 32.9 Mh / s -cvddc 850 -mvddc 850 -strap 2 @ 2230 -rxboost 1. And most importantly: No errors of memory

You are the first that proof the big increase that i was telling with core and rxboost :-)
Because of your mem errors your strap i bet yourstrap is to tight,i run 2150 without any error up to 2200
Don't think anyone is denying your claim.
Some cards get a very small gain (0.2Mhs)
Most of miners use 1 click patch so these straps are the most used, the best result I can get on 6x584 rig is 194,2Mhs
Care to share your strap for Samsung?
Yes the one click timings are very tight ones...
All depends on straps if you run pbe one time click pn samsung deny the 3.1.1 and use „slower“ the 3.2 and try 2150 mem
