Mine directly to your nicehash wallet instead of ethermine?

I'm mining directly at ethermine, I do not use nicehash.

I'm facing a problem, claymore is closing after hours working normally, it simply closes without errors.

Claymore version 11.5
pool ethermine via ssl
epools.txt =  POOL: ssl://us2.ethermine.org:5555, WALLET: mywallet, PSW: x, ESM: 1, ALLPOOLS: 0

In the log the last line that appears is:

ETH: checking pool connection...

And then the claymore closes,

Sorry if this has been answered, i tried digging around the thread but couldn't find what im looking for. Might be the syntax im using when searching.

I have rig with 8 cards, I was wondering with Claymore, is it possible to specify a specific card to/with a different wallet address if i decide to only mine ETH for GPU 1-6 and GPU 7-8 on something else?

Thanks.

Perhaps just open two instances of claymore

Create 2 instances and use the -di parameter.

Thank you.
You will need to connect to a secure server using SSL .....read page 1 command line options  -epool

I tried to follow the "readme". It cannot connect through SSL.

Important Question.
I have moved to phoenixminer because it can report a total of Wrong Shares, this helps me identify GPU's that have become Sick and may need a restart.
Claymore only shows rejected shares, can I see the total gpu errors with some command?
I mean I cant watchover the machines all the time to see the red error lines....

Really? What about pressing "s" key Huh

Anyone also having high stale shares lately on ethermine, v11.5? It seems to fluctuate mostly between 4-6%. Still a lot better than previous claymore versions. Any advice to reduce? Not getting any rejected shares, ping 180ms

After new ETH DAG  1060 3gb say bye bye to ETH on W10, I try to mine now UBIQ on Ethermine but when they want to take devfee reestart becasuse they take ETH not UBIQ and DAG of ETH is not supported by 3gb GPU.

Who has a good solution to all 3gb  GPU ?

Now after all cripto-coin go down is mandatory to have the mine in optimun condition to take same profit,  another problem is that rare coin is not easy to convert in USD/EUR.

 I apreciate your comment.  Smiley

I dont want to change to Linux  for only same month more of life of ETH

Linux isn't a one month solution its more like 14. Linux uses 6mb on all except the primary card and on that one it uses 43mb. If you make your first card something like a gtx 1050ti you should be able to keep going for at least the rest of the year. By my maths its actually May 2019.

Thanks for your reply, May 19 is  a good date.

this happens to me as well for hardcoded bios.

temporary solution is disable p0-p6 in overdriventool. or hardcode your bios to use the same clocks on p0-p6.

this must be a bug, since this is not happening on previous versions.

But I have never had this problem before and since yesterday it is permanently on this lower hashrate. Quite strange to be a minor bug in Claymore...

Hello good day ,Claymore v11.5 and phoenixminer 2.8.a users.
First, I used an online virus scanner to check the file phoenixminer 2.8.a.
The results are: 7/65 detected
https://www.virustotal.com/#/file/ab3f31a48199c800f7f958df21aed6565a9e972581d301ffedc0afa15b8e1cb7/detection
which is actually an excellent result, given that the Claymore's v 11.5 miner gives 19/62 positives
https://www.virustotal.com/#/file/9f2da65c0d6ff694aa66bf9207de9b42f62604021459dfbcba1c2ea2625116c2/detection
And even the open-source ethminer 0.14.0.dev4 gives 10/65 positives, which is ridiculous .

a miner is a trojan now! Huh
As a reply i want to inform you about that..

All miners will be on virus lists in very close time, because some users mining over Company sources, like ; Servers, Endpoints etc..

For the reason all the antivirus and threat protection softwares reporting miners to system admin for threat, If Claymore a threat for companies , yes its a way to find miners over companies.

So, its not releated with Trojan, its releated with Company protection.

Best Regards.
Pretty much right on.  The best way to describe it is that many "anti-virus" programs don't even use scheduled downloads of "pattern" files for matching any more.  These days usually it's all kept in "the cloud" for easy (and instant) update.

The problem is that many no longer differentiate between a malicious (AKA "virus") code and a "PUP" or Potentially Unwanted Program in a commercial environment.  For businesses, you likely don't want employees running a mining application on your company servers, right?  Speaking as a former network security officer for the U S Department of Justice, you don't really care exactly what it is, but rather whether or not it is allowed by your "Terms of Service" (PUP) or whatever - or if it is actually harmful or what we use the term "virus".

"VirusTotal.com" doesn't care why (or how) any of the "anti-virus" applications determine it is unwanted, they just report the total detects.

There is no malicious code here, but it is a P2P app, and most - if not all - companies don't want Peer to Peer software on their servers.

Ok, I had a similar thing when I upgraded to 11.5 but it was due to dual mining dcri values.

Use Windows 7 or Linux, there is no solution for Windows 10.

have a solution, type -eres 0

Not sure why you think this works, I'm trying it and same error occurs on Windows Home 10.

"Trojan:Win32/CoinMiner!bit"

This is a false positive from your virus scanner. Most, if not all, virus scanners will detect mining programmes as viruses.

"SppExtComObjHook.dll"

This, AFAIK, is part of 'AutoKMS' activation of Windows or Office, but could be malicious.

Thanks Sir.. I was so mad ..
I`m using  Claymore's Miner for the first time and I don`t have problem when I download and start mining,..
Just couple hrs after my window color was changed..etc
I dig in registry those .dll`s and can`t believe that they are together with Miner.. But I did everything offline, all setup,.. only what I download from net was miner..
Excuse me for distraction and I'm clear that I did not start in the right way but far from that how I`m not reading the first page ..

Best reg..

Just take any miner and distribute it somehow with your wallet in settings - that is all, a miner is a trojan now!  Grin

nothing would surprise me..
